Reading some of the posts on GFP.com (which are posted here on Spitfire List)Germany has had strong interests in Libyan infrastructure and resources. And, after initially being at the front calling for intervention there, has now begged off, leaving itself looking innocent in the face of an impending Nato attack. It seems that more than any other government, the Federal Republic has the greater interests and concerns about control of resources in Libya and its long time investments via German transnational corporations.
