Lis­ten now: One Seg­ment

As the inves­ti­ga­tion into the West’s clan­des­tine arm­ing of Sad­dam Hus­sein pro­ceeded, indi­ca­tions began to emerge that a cover-up had taken place. This seg­ment dis­cusses a num­ber of aspects of the “Iraq­gate” scan­dal, includ­ing the mur­der of one of the arms deal­ers involved in the U.S. arm­ing of Sad­dam. The killing took place in Latin Amer­ica, just as Amer­i­can inves­ti­ga­tors were look­ing in the direc­tion of some of the oper­a­tions that sur­rounded his (the dealer’s) efforts on behalf of the United States.
