This inter­view updates and reviews the infor­ma­tion pre­sented in a 3-hour Inter­view with Ed Haslam, recorded in June of 1996. (Haslam is the author of Mary, Fer­rie and The Mon­key Virus: The Story of An Under­ground Med­ical Lab­o­ra­tory, Wordsworth Press, copy­right 1995.) Par­tic­u­lar atten­tion is paid to recent press cov­er­age (and dis­tor­tion) of the con­t­a­m­i­na­tion of the polio vac­cine with a cancer-causing mon­key virus and the (appar­ently) resul­tant soft-tissue can­cer epi­demic cur­rently over­tak­ing the United States.
