COMMENT: As mentioned so often here, the Muslim Brotherhood [1]-primary beneficiary of the so-called Arab Spring [2] covert operation–is an Islamic fascist group with alliances stretching back to the Axis powers of World War II [3] and offshoots including al-Qaeda, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
The term “fascist” often fails to accurately convey the true horror of that to which the organization and related elements are dedicated.
Although female genital mutilation (surgical removal of women’s clitorises to prevent “impure thoughts”) was banned by Egyptian law under Mubarak, the Brotherhood has been organizing medical convoys administering the banned practice.
After winning significant participation in the Egyptian parliament in the early part of the last decade, the Brotherhood lobbied hard to pass a law that would have banned sanitary napkin dispensers from women’s bathrooms in public high school. This would have forced female students to remain at home when menstruating. Islam traditionally views women as unclean when menstruating and forbids men from having contact with them at that time.
Will the Brotherhood start to work on that one next?
Never lose sight of the acclamation of the Brotherhood as enlightened by many elements in the West, ranging from the World Bank to the mainstream U.S. media to Cindy “Look Ma, No Brains” Sheehan to the pundits of Pacifica Radio.
Guess we don’t quite understand the term “enlightened.”
CORRECTION: The legalized necrophilia law, according to the Christian Science Monitor, was a hoax planted in the media by former Mubarak political associates. Read the linked article [4] for more detail.
EXCERPT: Egyptian media is reporting on complaints concerning medical convoys organized by the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood’s political party which are alleged to be involved with female circumcision. According to a Bikya Masr report:
A number of Egyptian human rights groups have submitted a communication to the Attorney General Abdel Meguid Mahmoud against the Muslim Brotherhood‘s political arm, the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) to investigate the complaints of people in the village of Abu Aziz in the Minya governorate, south of Cairo, over the existence of a large medical convoy organized by the party that wanders streets and does medical examination on people, including female circumcision, or female genital mutilation, in violation of Egyptian law, conventions and treaties signed by Egypt. In Egypt’s legal code, Female Genital Mutilation is criminalized, as well as the inciting by doctors to convince families of the young girls of the need to agree to circumcise their daughters, ‘as a matter of preserving chastity.’ . . .
