I see the connection between Fascism and the alien/U.F.O. Cult as sort of rienforcing the idea of the “master race”.
It is very close to Darwinism and social Darwinism. The idea being that there is this constant evolutionary struggle going on.
Ever notice how in these U.F.O. stories, the “aliens” are always presented as somehow more “advanced”. This coincides and rienforces the archetype of the advanced “Aryan”, ruling over the “lesser beings”.

@Mike: Yeah, it was interesting how the Eisenhower/alien article combined a reference to the RAF foo fighter sightings towards the end of WWII ( pointing towards advanced technology with a man-made origin) with the "Nordic" and "Grey" alien mythology. I've always found the "Nordic" alien story to be the most amusing, if only because it seems so lazy from an alien hoax standpoint (Aryan aliens! heh). And since filling the public's collective head space with false paradigms and disinformation appears to be a primary goal of the global elite, I also suspect that these types of stories are used for more than just discrediting conspiracy theorists. There's a massive audience for this kind of stuff, from New Agers to religious fundamentalists that may be open to interpreting UFO's as angels and demons, etc. Growing that audience has got to be increasingly useful as technology progresses and/or distractions are needed.

they keep putting U.F.O. stories out as "bait" for "conspiracy theorists". This is the classic cover-up technique used by the government to smear anyone looking into what they are doing as "conspiracy theorists", a buzzword used to put a certain "jacket" on people and create confusion around issues they wish to keep shrouded. U.F.O. stories are put out by the government agencies[such as NASA] in order to make people researching what the government is really doing look like "kooks" and "conspiracy theorists". It ensures that no stories about what the government is really doing will ever be taken seriously because they will now be lumped together with the "fringe". The trigger word "conspiracy theorist" is constantly used to re-enforce this negative stereotype.

The 34th President of the United States met the extra terrestrials at a remote air base in New Mexico in 1954, according to lecturer and author Timothy Good. Eisenhower and other FBI officials are said to have organised the showdown with the space creatures by sending out 'telepathic messages'. The two parties finally met up on three separate occasions at the Holloman Air Force base and there were 'many witnesses'. Conspiracy theorists have circulated increased rumours in recent months that the meeting between the Commander-in-Chief and people from another planet took place. But the claims from Mr Good, a former U.S. Congress and Pentagon consultant, are the first to be made publicly by a prominent academic. Speaking on Frank Skinner's BBC2 current affairs show Opinionated, he said that governments around the world have been in regular contact with aliens for many decades. 'Aliens have made both formal and informal contact with thousands of people throughout the world from all walks of life,' he added. ... The initial meeting is supposed to have taken place with aliens who were 'Nordic' in appearance, but the agreement was eventually 'signed' with a race called 'Alien Greys'. Mr Good added: 'We know that up to 90 per cent of all UFO reports can be explained in conventional terms. However, I would say millions of people worldwide have actually seen the real thing.' According to classified documents released by the Ministry of Defence in 2010, Winston Churchill may have ordered a UFO sighting to be kept secret. The UFO was seen over the East Coast of England by an RAF reconnaissance plane returning from a mission in France or Germany towards the end of the war. Churchill is said to have discussed how to deal with UFO sightings with Eisenhower.
