Ron Paul and the Nazis

COMMENT: It is not news that Ron Paul has expressed harsh, bigoted comments [1] about gays, African-Americans and Jews [2] in his newsletter although his supporters claim it “was not Ron Paul” who actually authored the articles.

It is also not news that white supremacist and Nazi elements have expressed support for Ron Paul [3].

Nor is it news that the GOP is in bed with Nazis [4].

After hacking into fascist websites, the Anonymous hacking group alleges that Paul has engaged the leaders of some of these groups in conference calls. If true, that confirms his active support for such elements at the same time that he is publicly disavowing them.

A couple of points in passing: although Paul is clearly racist/fascist in his orientation, his anti-Federal Reserve stance and opposition to foreign aid to Israel has endeared him to elements of the “Truther” movement–those people in the 9/11 investigative movement who espouse the controlled demolition of the World Trade Center/cruise missile hit the Pentagon nonsense.

His opposition to some of the surveillance/national security legislation passed in the wake of 9/11 has also endeared him to some of the American Muslim community. [5]

Wouldn’t be interesting to get some of the Truthers and Muslims together with the folks from Stormfront and see how they get along?

“Anonymous Claims Neo-Nazi Links with Ron Paul” by Gianluca Mezzofiore; International Business Times; 1/31/2011. [6]

EXCERPT: . . . Anonymous also claims that the organisation has links with Republican candidate Ron Paul. “We found a disturbingly high number of members who are also involved in campaigning for Ron Paul,” the statement said, adding that Paul had regularly met with many party members and even engaged in conference calls with its board of directors.
