Extending examination of the most inappropriately named National Endowment for Democracy, the program highlights that institution’s role as a direct extension of U.S. intelligence. In addition to having financed the Maidan coup in Ukraine, the NED has been positioning itself to effect “regime change” in Russia. One of the partners with NED in financing the Maidan coup is Pierre Omidyar, Glenn Greenwald’s financial angel and the head of EBay. Omidyar is now partnering with NED to create a “fact-checking service.” Vladimir Putin has cracked down on NED and other foreign NGO’s that are politically active in Russia, using the precedent of an American law that obliges political activists and organizations financed from abroad to register as agents of foreign governments. Reviewing information from FTR #848, the program highlights NED’s active projection of World War II-era fascists and Nazi collaborators into Lithuania, where the paved the way for the destabilization of the U.S.S.R., as well as the political rehabilitation of Baltic Waffen SS units. Program Highlights Include: the founding of the NED in conjunction with William Casey under Ronald Reagan; Omidyar’s sponsorship of Svitlana Zalischuk, a Ukrainian MP who is coordinating the integration of Ukraine into NATO; the Washington Post’s ideological swing to the far right.
This program revisits information concerning the relationship between outright fascists and racists grouped under the libertarian political banner and the “leaderless resistance” strategy. This libertarian/fascist nexus embodies the political forces with which Edward Snowden is allied. With Dylann Roof’s apparent execution of the Charleston church massacre and other, less-publicized incidents, we have experienced the ravages of killers operating as “lone wolves”, inspired by, and acting in concert with, ideological vectors disseminated through the internet and other media. Snowden political idol Ron Paul and leaking journalist of choice Glenn Greenwald are key players in the libertarian/fascist milieu, with Ron Paul and his racist newsletters having codified much of the violence we have seen since, and which inspired Dylann Roof and others. Glenn Greenwald ran legal interference for the leaderless resistance strategy, obtaining rulings that free Nazi and white supremacist advocates from possible civil liability for inspiring acts like the Charleston massacre. Among the libertarian/fascist activists on the scene is Jeffrey Tucker, who helped write Ron Paul’s newsletters and is listed as a founding member of the League of the South. An apparent influence on Dylann Roof was Nazi leader and fiction author Harold Covington, who espouses the goal of establishing the Pacific Nortrhwest as an “Aryan” homeland for Nazis and white supremacists. Covington’s novels, like those of Greenwald client the National Alliance, are intended as “instructional” material. Program Highlights Include: the burning of numerous African-American churches in the wake of the Charleston massacre; the dismissal of any notion that the burnings constitute acts of terror; review of the 16th Baptist Church bombing and connections between that event and the assassination of Martin Luther King; Nazi and white supremacist activity in Oregon; a German industrialist named Folker’s purchase of vast amounts of land in the Pacific Northwest; Folker’s links to Rick Boehlke, an apparent economic protege; Boehlke’s significant operational links to Rudi Dekkers and the milieu of Mohammed Atta in Florida; Lafayette (LA) John Houser’s espousal of Nazi and white supremacist ideology.
Updating “L’Affaire Snowden,” this program analyzes the fundamental political/ideological principles that unite Eddie the Friendly Spook (Snowden) with the corporate entities comprising “Big Tech.” Taking advantage of the notion that “government is bad, but corporations are good” (“post-Reaganoid political dementia”), many of the individuals and companies in the tech world are pursuing and achieving goals that are fundamentally antithetical to democratic principles. Fundamental to the discussion is a brilliant analysis by David Golumbia in “Uncomputing.org” that distills the essence of “technocratic fascism”–the political and social philosophy that unites “coders”–Snowden, Assange and hackers of all stripes–with the corporate giants of Big Tech. Building on a viewpoint similar to that expressed in “The Decline of the West,” by Oswald Spengler (a text fundamental to much of 20th century fascism), they contend that society is broken, the political process is broken, and therefore they have the right–expressed as “natural law”–to do whatever they think is best. Democratic polities are to have no say in their actions, regardless of the potential consequences for the members of those polities. They do not feel that they need “the consent of the governed.” Program highlights include: the presence at the exclusive elite gathering of the Bilderbergers of key Silicon Valley techies including Peter Thiel and Alex Karp of Palanthir; review of the relationship between Ron Paul–Snowden’s political idol–and Thiel; the presence of Third Reich alumni in the Bilderberger gatherings; the anti-labor practices of Big Tech; the role of Big Tech in financing extreme right candidates like Ted Cruz; the drive by the Indian government of Narendra Modi (whose election was aided by EBay’s Pierre Omidyar) to undermine India’s laws against child labor, a synoptic overview of the key elements of our analysis of The Adventures of Eddie the Friendly Spook.
2014 could have been better for Bitcoin. After peaking near $1100 in December 2013, Bitcoin is currently under $250. 2014 was not a good year for Bitcoin.
But that doesn’t mean 2015 has to be the same. And if a slew of recent announcement involving some very big investors are any indication of what to expect, the mainstreaming Bitcoin is about to get a big boost. But that boost could come with a big price too. All those “microtransactions” of as little as 0.000000001 of one bitcoin (BTC) that much of the Bitcoin community hates so much is precisely what these deep pocketed interests are planning on promoting in a big way. And in order to make it all happen, they might have to become some of the biggest bitcoin miners around too. And that means the future of Bitcoin is increasing in the hands of ‘The Man’. Also, the microtransactions might be used to monetize how we access the web. And how the Internet of Things spies on us. It doesn’t actually sound very fun.
The title of the program is a verbatim quote from Edward Snowden–the Peach Fuzz Fascist–in 2009. The GOP-controlled 114th Congress is attempting to implement Snowden’s views. In addition to highlighting Snowden’s ultra-reactionary views about abolishing Social Security and restoring the gold standard, the broadcast sets forth the GOP’s disingenuous statements about the Social Security disability program, exemplified by Rand Paul’s bald-faced lies about the nature of the program. After chronicling the GOP’s 80-year war on Social Security, going back to the early days of Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s first term, the broadcast reviews the 1934 coup attempt by powerful, fascist industrial and financial interests. Those same plotters supported Mussolini’s “corporate state” and Hitler’s eugenics program, aimed at eliminating “useless bread gobblers.” Like Snowden, the 1934 coup plotters wanted to eliminate Social Security and restore the gold standard.
A controversy ensued when it emerged that House majority whip Steve Scalise had attended a meeting of David Duke’s European-American Unity Organization. The newly-seated GOP-dominated congress which Scalise will help to guide began attacking Social Security on its very first day. Specifically, the GOP began attacking the Social Security disability program. These developments serve as a point of entry into our discussion. Snowden is an advocate of eliminating Social Security and the OUN/B fascists running Ukraine are engaging in a similar program to force those in Eastern Ukraine to stop their attempts at secession. The elements of the Snowden/WikiLeaks “op” are networked with Duke, as well. Snowden’s leaking journalist of choice, Nazi fellow-traveler Glenn Greenwald, has been financed by Pierre Omidyar of Ebay, who has also financed the Ukraine coup. The program notes many other elements of confluence between the Snowden/WikiLeaks “op” and the Ukrainian coup. The Snowden/WikiLeaks helped to deep-six Obama’s “reboot with Russia” and also alienate many of the young, idealistic voters who had supported him in 2008, thereby helping to elect the 114th Congress.
As the title indicates this program brings up to date a number of stories covered in the past and introduces some new topics of discussion. The topics covered include: JFK’s 1963 attempts at normalizing relations with Cuba; new information casting doubt on the “lone nut” theory of the 2001 anthrax attacks (which fingered Bruce Ivins as a “lone nut” perpetrator); Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy’s suppression of political dissent, echoing the policies of Francisco Franco; a Catholic mass held to honor the memory of the murderous World War II Ustachi leader Ante Pavelic; the global economic elites’ pursuit of the same economic policies that drove people into the arms of fascism in the 1930’s; Ayn Rand’s role in investigating the 1940’s movie “It’s a Wonderful Life” as possible crypto-Communist propaganda; the GOP’s implementation of fraudulent “dynamic scoring” economic evaluation; theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking’s warning that the development of Artificial Intelligence could threaten the existence of humanity; Mr. Emory’s 1995 warning that the development of Artificial Intelligence could threaten the existence of humanity.
Highlighting the perils of wikiculture and underscoring the utility of Bitcoin for various types of criminal activity, we note that cyberattackers have frozen a key database for bankruptcy-afflicted Detroit. In return, they are demanding 2,000 Bitcoins as ransom–no doubt because of the relatively opaque and untraceable nature of the digital currency. All of the contents of this website as of 10/2/2014–Dave Emory’s 35+ years of research and broadcasting–as well as hours of videotaped lectures are available on a 32GB flash drive.
A colleague of Eddie the Friendly Spook [Snowden], Julian Assange and Glenn Greenwald, Kim Schmitz, aka “Kim Dotcom”] espouses the same libertarian/free market ideology underlying the “corporatism” of Benito Mussolini. With an extensive criminal record in Germany and elsewhere, “Der Dotcommandant” has eluded serious punishment for his offenses, including executing the largest insider trading scheme in German history.
Embraced by the file-sharing community and elements of the so-called progressive sector, Dotcom actually allied himself with John Banks and his far-right ACT Party in New Zealand. His embrace of the so-called progressive sector came later and is viewed as having damaged left-leaning parties at the polls. Dotcom is enamored of Nazi memorabilia and owns a rare, author-authographed copy of “Mein Kampf.”
Much of the second side of the program compares the “Divine, Theocratic” free-market economic theory of The Family and the corresponding ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood. Both see wealth and economic privilege as a matter of divine will, with that perceived will being the governing ethos of an ideal society.
The future of health care in societies subjected to the doctrine of “Austeria” may be seen with the appointment of doctrinaire neo-Nazi Makis “The Hammer” Voridis as Health Minister of Greece. Fascism is surging in a Europe subjected to German-mandated austerity, as evidenced by the recent EU Parliamentary elections. Much of the program highlights fascism marching under the deceptive banner of “freedom” and/or libertarianism. Bitcoin continues its march toward monopoly, with the mysterious Ghash.io controlling 51% of the market. Gun-wielding fascists supportive of “libertarian” (read “white-supremacist”) Ron Paul gunned down police in Las Vegas, while so called “sovereign citizens” shot up police in California. “Cliven Bundists” (supporters of Cliven Bundy) have declared themselves exempt from Bureau of Land Management regulations in Nevada, as the GOP ramps up another government shutdown to foil Obama’s climate change legislation. At the same time, the very high-tech giants that complained so loudly about Obama’s failure to protect individual privacy are surging ahead with programs and technology to obliterate that very consideration.
