“Clausewitzian” Health Care: Austeritywitz in Greece

We continue our coverage of the reality of “austerity” in Greece, mandated by the German-dominated EU. With German banks having precipitated the Eurozone crisis, the postscript is classic “war by other means,” as prescribed by Prussian military theoretician Carl von Clausewitz. The German-dominated Troika installed the fascist LAOS party in Greece, with no input from the citizens of that country–the cradle of democracy. Having assumed control of Greece’s health care system, German profit-driven institutions are instituting draconian measures, resulting in–among other things–A 40% INCREASE IN INFANT MORTALITY!

Knauer Later? History Is Repeating Itself in Europe (“Austeritywitz” Health Care)

We have discussed the relationship between eugenics, euthanasia, the Nazi T-4 program and the genocide that grew out of these. The T-4 program began with the state-authorized killing of a badly deformed infant named Knauer. Economically and emotionally stressful for his parents, “baby Knauer” became the test case and prototype for the Third Reich’s extermination programs. Recent legislative proposals in austerity-gripped Europe echo the Knauer case.

Austerity, Up Close and Personal, Part 2 “Austeritywitz”: German Elderly Being “Shipped to the East”

An aspect of Germany’s “austerity” diktat that has escaped notice and discussion concerns what Deutschland is doing with its poor, elderly people. Because of the expenses involved in caring for the these “undesirables,” they are being shipped “to the East.” We have seen this from Germany before. The uninitiated might be inclined to dismiss this as being of little significance. After all, they aren’t being killed, as they were under the Third Reich. Not yet, they aren’t. On the other hand, IF they were, who would report it? And with “austerity” the order of the day for the German-dominated EU, what will happen as the “expense” of dealing with the infirm increases?

Is there a Doctor in the Haus? (“Paging Dr. Mengele”)

“Angel of Death” Josef Mengele, known for his work at Auschwitz, found postwar success working for the Paraguayan Army Medical Corps. When the U.S. began experimenting with chemical agents for use in Vietnam, Mengele successfully treated soldiers accidentally sprayed with toxins.

The “Austere” Future: Death instead of Taxes?

Nazi extermination programs derived from mainstream social thinking. Will “austerity” produce same thing?

Fighting for the Wrong Right: Your Right to Die

Health care reform approaching the “Final Solution” to the high cost of health care? In Nazi Germany it meant “Kill ’em, don’t bill ’em.” The same influences inform our social thinking on the issue.
