Many lis­ten­ers and read­ers may be inclined to dis­miss the research of Edward R. Mur­row pro­tege Paul Man­ning on the post­war Bor­mann cap­i­tal net­work. Evolved from the polit­i­cal econ­omy of Nazi Ger­many and man­i­fest­ing hier­ar­chy deriv­ing from that of the Third Reich, that orga­ni­za­tion con­trols the Ger­man cor­po­rate econ­omy. A recent Bloomberg News story about the Quandt fam­ily details their rela­tion­ship to Nazi pro­pa­ganda min­is­ter Joseph Goebbels, set­ting forth infor­ma­tion con­sis­tent with Manning’s research on cor­po­rate Germany.

Over the years, we’ve pre­sented the pro­found, decades-long net­work­ing of both Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger with Third Reich alumni, many of them war crim­i­nals of the first order. Nixon helped to ini­ti­ate and sus­tain the Nazi ele­ment of the GOP. Now we learn that Kissinger actively con­spired with Third Reich vet­er­ans and Ger­man aris­to­crats to estab­lish the ground­work for the over­throw of the Ger­man gov­ern­ment of for­mer chan­cel­lor Willy Brandt. Pre­vi­ously, Kissinger was recruited by Allen Dulles to help incor­po­rate Nazis into the CIA’s fledg­ling para­mil­i­tary cadre to be used against the USSR. One of Kissinger’s co-conspirators was Hans Globke, author of the Nurem­berg laws, which pro­vided the basis for the Nazi exter­mi­na­tion programs.

The BND–the Ger­man intel­li­gence ser­vice that evolved from Hitler’s East­ern Front intel­li­gence organization–may well have played a role in the 9/11 attacks. 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta trav­eled under the aus­pices of the Carl Duis­berg Gesellschaft and appears to have made con­tact with his Ger­man spon­sors while study­ing Ger­man at the Goethe Insti­tute of Cairo. The Goethe Insti­tute is widely viewed as a front for Ger­man intel­li­gence. Atta enrolled at the Goethe Insti­tute after being encour­aged by his father, who, accord­ing to Daniel Hop­sicker, was seen in South Florida with Atta.

Ger­man intel­li­gence and law enforce­ment had the Ham­burg cell involved in the 9/11 attacks under sur­veil­lance by August of 1998 and did noth­ing. The offi­cer in charge of law enforce­ment activ­i­ties for Ham­burg at the time has report­edly become head of the BND. Cou­pled with Atta’s Ger­man and Aus­trian asso­ciates in Florida, his spon­sor­ship by the Carl Duis­berg Gesellschaft and Germany’s sus­pi­cious manip­u­la­tion of “Curve­ball,” seri­ous ques­tions must be asked about the role of Ger­many and its intel­li­gence ser­vices with regard to 9/11 and the Iraq war.

Ger­man author­i­ties had a warn­ing three weeks before the Olympics mas­sacre of 1972. With secu­rity headed by an offi­cer of the BND, the final incar­na­tion of the Gehlen “Org” and with neo-Nazis assist­ing the Pales­tin­ian ter­ror­ists, this comes as no sur­prise. The BND Olympics secu­rity chief has also been accused of stag­ing provo­ca­tions and pro­vid­ing an alibi for a Nazi leader in the 1980 Okto­ber­fest bombing.
