For many years, we have covered the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamic fascist organization allied with the Axis in World War II and nurtured by elements of Western intelligence during the Cold War as anti-communist cadre. In January 2012, Salon.com published a very revealing piece that pretty much lays it all out.
The WikiLeaks-assisted far-right covert operation popularly known as “the Arab Spring” has indeed resulted in the ascendance of Erdogan-style governance in the Middle East. Turkey’s Muslim-Brotherhood president Tayyip Erdogan has responded to popular dissatisfaction with tactics and rhetoric reminiscent of Mussolini and Hitler.
Recent days have seen expanding popular protests in Turkey. Turned back by heavy-handed tactics by the country’s Fetullah Gulen-dominated police establishment, the demonstrations appear to embody a broader popular dissatisfaction with Erdogan’s Islamist government. Far from being “moderate,” Erdogan’s government has systematically stifled journalistic and political expression. UPDATED ON 6/6/2013.
I.G. Farben’s Fischer-Tropsch process is experiencing an industrial renaissance. In Kosovo, former NATO commander General Wesley Clark is chairman of a company using it to produce synthetic fuel from Kosovo’s coal deposits. Coincidentally (?) the head of NATO peacekeeping forces in Kosovo was the son of Nazi war crminal and Third Reich finance ministry official Fritz Reinhardt.
For years, we’ve highlighted the Islamofascist nature of the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as its historical alignment with the Axis in World War II. Now Egyptian comedian Bassem Youssef has lampooned the Brotherhood, accurately characterizing the organization. Youssef has been the target of Brotherhood repression in the past.
“Free Market” principles are manifesting behind fundamentalist religious cover. The Christian fundamentalist group The Family wields profound influence in Washington, behind an ideology that sees laissez-faire economics as “God’s will.” The Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamism also views free-market principles as “Divine” in origin. Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi continues on the Islamic fascist path mandated by the Muslim Brotherhood, to which he belongs. Now, he has threatened unspecified “Emergency Measures” to quell the opposition. Just such rhetoric and the actions that generally follow that kind of talk are part and parcel to the implementation of totalitarian rule.
We’ve reported on the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood’s move to establish civilian parallel police to supplement the security forces, cooperating in this with the al-Qaeda-infiltrated Gama’a-al-Islamiya. Observers now report fears that the Brotherhood may be trying to infiltrate the Egyptian military, traditionally an non-ideological force in Egyptian society.
Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood continues to behave as we predicted. It has formally attacked a United Nations declaration against violence against women. This, from the supposedly “democratic,” “Western-oriented” organization we were told would usher in a “new era” in Egyptian politics. The Brotherhood is also cooperating with the Jama’a al-Islamiya to assemble a cadre of Islamist civilian police to function as a security force and parallel police.
Using clever, populist and anti-corporate rhetoric, neo-Nazi groups have been able to win converts, not unlike the early Nazi Party in Germany. Now, a Nazi hacking group claims credit for taking down the CIA’s website. In this regard, they are fulfilling a prediction we made decades ago–that the Underground Reich would turn on America following our importation of Third Reich alumni after WWII.
