FTR #869 The Assassination of Olof Palme, Part 2

Continuing discussion and analysis from FTR #868, this program underscores the possible role of Swedish and Scandinavian fascists overlapping both WACL and Sapo, the Swedish intelligence service. Involved with escape networks forged to aid the international flight from justice of fascists and Nazis, the principals in these networks exhibited behavior around the time of the Palme killing that is suggestive. Worth noting in this regard is the late Stieg Larsson’s investigation of the Palme killing, which pointed in the direction of some of the same figures examined in the Kruger essay. The program concludes with an examination of the Bofors munitions firm and its corporate links to Third Reich industry and the postwar Bormann capital network, with which it may well be affiliated.

FTR #868: The Assassination of Olof Palme, Part 1

The first of two programs highlighting the unsolved 1986 assassination of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme, the broadcast features a 1988 article by the brilliant freelance Danish journalist Henrik Kruger, author of “The Great Heroin Coup: Drugs, Intelligence and International Fascism.” Through this examination of the intersected networks that Kruger has termed (in “The Great Heroin Coup”) “The International Fascista,” we are able to observe the elements of Operation Condor, key individuals and institutions comprising the former World Anti-Communist League, individuals and organizations underlying “the Strategy of Tension” in Italy, as well as the cast of characters that managed the Iran-Contra machinations. Long the focal point of death threats and assassination attempts, Palme had earned the lethal ire of fascists in North and South America, as well as Europe. The failure to solve the killing, despite the passage of almost 30 years and some very strong evidentiary tributaries, underscores the gravitas of the forces that destroyed Palme. Kruger’s article also serves as something of an “in vitro” window into many of the political networks we have examined over the years.

The Assassination of Olof Palme

In our ongoing series of interviews with Peter Levenda, the author of “The Hitler Legacy,” we have highlighted points of discussion relating to WACL, Operation Condor, the Iran/Contra scandal and other elements that might not be familiar to recent/younger readers and listeners. Peter detailed his hair-raising visit to Colonia Dignidad in FTR #839. While going through some boxes in storage, we came across an old essay by the brilliant Danish journalist Henrik Kruger, author of “The Great Heroin Coup,” analyzing the unsolved 1986 assassination of Swedish prime minister Olof Palme. We present that article here, in order to familiarize younger readers and listeners with individuals and institutions we haven’t covered in decades. All of the contents of this website as of 12/19/2014–Dave Emory’s 35+ years of research and broadcasting–as well as hours of videotaped lectures are available on a 32GB flash drive. Dave offers his programs and articles for free–your support is very much appreciated.

FTR #813 Return of the Rising Sun, Part 3

Grandson of the Japanese war criminal who signed that country’s declaration of war against the U.S., Shinzo Abe is following in the footsteps of Nobosuke Kishi (his grandfather), as well as those of Kishi’s associates in Japan’s expansionist empire. Revising school textbooks about World War II, passing a new secrecy law, instituting greater state control of news media, dramatically increasing defense spending while moving to alter the constitution to permit a more militaristic agenda, Abe is turning back the Japanese historical and political clock. Japanese government officials are openly sanctioning anti-Korean racism and networking with organizations that promote that doctrine. Several members of Abe’s government network with Japanese neo-Nazis. Vice-Prime Minister Taro Aso is a longtime admirer of Nazi political strategy and advocates using the Nazi method for seizing power to sneak constitutional change past the Japanese public.

Were there Nazis in Atlantis? The Gospel According to Ramtha (aka J.Z. Knight)

J.Z. Knight (right) has built a successful organization by claiming to channel an ancient “Atlantean/Lemurian” Warrior named Ramtha. In addition to lubricating the spiritual cognition of her acolytes with copious amounts of wine, Knight/Ramtha has disseminated profoundly disparaging views of various groups, including gays, Mexicans, Jews and organic farmers. Knight/Ramtha’s views have found resonance on the Stormfront website, arguably the leading neo-Nazi and white supremacist website.

FTR #793 Miscellaneous Articles and Updates

Updating and introducing a number of stories, this program notes the death of Nazi art dealer Cornelius Gurlitt, highlighted in FTR #791. After detailing the background and political connections of Frazier Glenn Miller, accused of killing three people at a Jewish Community Center in Kansas, the program highlights the growing control of American media outlets by doctrinaire fascist organizations with a heritage evolving from World War II. In addition to the spectacular growth of publishing giant Bertelsmann, with a Nazi and SS heritage, the broadcast underscores the control of the Al-Jazeera network by the Muslim Brotherhood. The curious advertising behavior of BMW, controlled by the heirs of Joseph Goebbels is set forth, as well.

Newsweek Publisher Has Unification Church Background

In FTR #291, we examined the Unification Church as an extension of the Japanese Patriotic Societies, that brought fascism to Japan through a program of political assassination and propaganda. David Jang, whose business enterprises control both Newsweek and The International Business Times, has a background in the Unification Church, formerly headed by the Reverend Sun Myung Moon.

Dark Cloud on the Rising Sun

In his second stint as Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe is rebooting the right-wing political agenda he pursued during his first term in the last decade. The grandson of prominent Japanese war criminal Nobosuke Kishi, Abe is implementing revisionist politics designed to obfuscate Japan’s actions during World War II, including editing textbooks to change written history of the war, implementing a new secrecy law, bring the respected NHK television network under government control and negating accounts of Japanese war crimes.

Whither Japan? Divine Wind, Take 2?

In numerous broadcasts, we have covered the sad reality that in post World War II Japan, the public perception that the forces of fascism were eradicated is a deliberately cultivated political myth. Japanese prime minister Abe has embarked on a program of militarism, with one of his top defense advisers highlighting a campaign appearance by reading from the diary of a Kamikaze pilot, who died crashing his plane into an American warship. UPDATED ON 8/9/2013.

Winds of War Blowing over Northern Pacific Islands?

There has been a significant uptick in real or alleged military confrontations over disputed islands in the North Pacific. Conservative commentator Ambrose Evans-Pritchard has noted the possible drift toward war between Japan and China over uninhibited and disputed Islands. Japan has also accused Russia of fomenting confrontation over the disputed Kuriles.
