FTR #1008 Alfa Males, Part 5: Lee Harvey Manafort, The Russia-Gate Psy-Op, and the Underground Reich (Habsburg Redux, Part 2)

The title of the pro­gram ref­er­ences for­mer Trump cam­paign man­ag­er and for­mer Ukrain­ian pres­i­dent Vik­tor Yanukovich’s advi­sor Paul Man­afort as “Lee Har­vey Man­afort.”

Far from being a “Russian/Putin/Kremlin agent, Paul Man­afort is a U.S. intel­li­gence offi­cer, who was charged with the task of teas­ing Ukraine from the Russ­ian into the West­ern orbit. Heed­ing polls that found Ukraine’s cit­i­zens to oppose the coun­try’s inclu­sion into NATO and mid­wiv­ing a report that exon­er­at­ed then Ukrain­ian pres­i­dent Vik­tor Yanukovich of crim­i­nal excess in the jail­ing of his pre­de­ces­sor and rival Yulia Tim­o­shenko, Man­afort under­took polit­i­cal activism on behalf of both caus­es in order to effect his goal of West­ern­iz­ing Ukraine.

When the com­bi­na­tion of pop­u­lar dis­sat­is­fac­tion with the aus­ter­i­ty-laden EU asso­ci­a­tion pro­pos­al and Russ­ian pres­sure led to Yanukovy­ch’s can­cel­la­tion of the deep­en­ing of Ukrainian/EU rela­tions, the Euro­maid­an coup sealed the fate of the Yanukovych gov­ern­ment. “Plan B” for the inte­gra­tion of Ukraine into the West­ern camp was the Euro­maid­an coup, which cul­mi­nat­ed in the sniper killings of numer­ous civil­ians. As dis­cussed in FTR #‘s 982 and 993, those sniper attacks may well have been a provo­ca­tion, effect­ed by Ukrain­ian fas­cist and OUN/B suc­ces­sor Andriy Paru­biy chris­tened “The Cap­tain of the Maid­an” and–very possibly–Manafort him­self.

Plan B, for  the maneu­ver­ing of Ukraine into the West­ern camp might be termed “Plan OUN/B.”

Manafort–like Lee Har­vey Oswald and Edwin Wil­son before him–has been “left out in the cold” by his spy­mas­ters, left to take the fall for an oper­a­tion he under­took on their behalf. Hence, our chris­ten­ing of Trump’s for­mer, unfor­tu­nate cam­paign man­ag­er as “Lee Har­vey Man­afort.”

A major fac­tor in the events high­light­ed in our last pro­gram, this broad­cast and the forth­com­ing pro­gram is the Hab­s­burg (also spelled “Haps­burg”) dynasty and relat­ed ele­ments. The Hab­s­burgs are the roy­al fam­i­ly that presided over the Aus­tro-Hun­gar­i­an Empire, which ruled Cen­tral and much of East­ern Europe for 600 years.

In addi­tion to the Hab­s­burg pow­er polit­i­cal forces, our analy­sis focus­es on the tiny, Hab­s­burg-affil­i­at­ed Euro­pean prin­ci­pal­i­ty of Liecht­en­stein. With a pop­u­la­tion of just 32.000, Liecht­en­stein is a ver­ti­cal­ly-inte­grat­ed lean, mean mon­ey-laun­der­ing machine.

Over­lap­ping the Liecht­en­stein con­nec­tion is the Alfa Group–a Russ­ian con­glom­er­ate, the most impor­tant com­po­nent of which is the Alfa Bank.

For pur­pos­es of clar­i­ty, we present syn­op­tic analy­sis of key points of dis­cus­sion and analy­sis in FTR #‘s 1007 and relat­ed pro­grams.

1.–The Alfa con­glom­er­ate main­tains the Alfa Fel­low­ship pro­gram, a sub­sidiary of the Carl Duis­berg Soci­ety’s new umbrel­la the Cul­tur­al Vis­tas orga­ni­za­tion.
2.–The Carl Duis­berg Soci­ety was the vehi­cle that shep­herd­ed 9/11 hijack­er Mohamed Atta around Ger­many and the U.S.
3.–Alfa sub­sidiary Crown Alfa had deal­ings with com­modi­ties Marc Rich, whose par­don was inves­ti­gat­ed by James Comey.
4.–In FTR #930, we not­ed that anoth­er Alfa asso­ciate Mikhail Frid­man did pur­chase Marc Rich assets.
5.–Also in FTR #930, we not­ed an Alfa Bank serv­er com­mu­ni­cat­ing with the Trump orga­ni­za­tion.
6.–In 2001, Crown Alfa asso­ciate Nor­bert Seeger’s Pro­gres­sive Cit­i­zens Par­ty of Liecht­en­stein gave Prince Hans-Adam II of Liecht­en­stein unprece­dent­ed pow­er, mak­ing him, in effect, Europe’s only absolute monarch. Hans-Adam’s new pow­ers gave him con­trol over the courts and judi­cial sys­tem just as the 9/11 attacks and result­ing Oper­a­tion Green Quest inves­ti­ga­tions were mov­ing in the direc­tion of the Licht­en­stein-based Al-Taqwa nexus.
7.–An Al-Taqwa sub­sidiary, the Asat Trust had links to the House of Liechtenstein–the rul­ing fam­i­ly of Liecht­en­stein.
8.–Robert Mueller helped derail the Oper­a­tion Green Quest inves­ti­ga­tion while serv­ing as head of the FBI.
9.–The House of Liecht­en­stein is a sub­sidiary of the House of Hab­s­burg.

In this pro­gram, we set forth ele­ments over­lap­ping the dynam­ics pre­sent­ed above, includ­ing:

1.–Manafort’s net­work­ing with the “Hab­s­burg Group” of Euro­pean politi­cians to effect Ukraine’s inte­gra­tion into the EU orbit: ” . . . . . . . . A sec­ond Wash­ing­ton lob­by­ing firm hired by Mr. Man­afort, the Podes­ta Group, also said last year that it had ‘arranged meet­ings and media oppor­tu­ni­ties’ for vis­it­ing Euro­pean lead­ers regard­ing Ukraine, start­ing in 2012, includ­ing for Mr. Gusen­bauer, Mr. Pro­di and two for­mer pres­i­dents, Alek­sander Kwas­niews­ki of Poland and Vik­tor A. Yushchenko of Ukraine. . . . The group of senior for­mer politi­cians, accord­ing to the indict­ment, was infor­mal­ly called the Haps­burg Group, after the Aus­tro-Hun­gar­i­an dynasty, the Hab­s­burgs. . . .”
2.–Lee Har­vey Man­afort and the Hab­s­burg Group enlist­ed Alex van Der Zwaan, son-in-law of Ger­man Khan the (Kiev) Ukraine-born founder of Alfa Bank: ” . . . . Alex van der Zwaan was charged with lying to the FBI about his con­tacts with Rick Gates, who served as a top offi­cial on Pres­i­dent Trump’s cam­paign and a long­time busi­ness part­ner of for­mer cam­paign chair­man Paul Man­afort. Based in Lon­don, van der Zwaan worked for the law firm Skad­den, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, which worked with Man­afort and Gates when they served as polit­i­cal con­sul­tants in Ukraine. Van der Zwaan is the son-in-law of Ger­man Khan, a bil­lion­aire and an own­er of Alfa Group, Russia’s largest finan­cial and indus­tri­al invest­ment group. . . . Like the Man­afort and Gates charges, van der Zwaan’s case is root­ed in Ukraine, where Man­afort worked as an inter­na­tion­al polit­i­cal con­sul­tant start­ing in 2005. . . .”
3.–Members of the Hab­s­burg dynasty have been involved in the con­text in which Lee Har­vey Man­afort and the Hab­s­burg Group were oper­at­ing, in order to ease Ukraine into the West­ern, rather than the Russ­ian orbit. ” . . . . Georg von Hab­s­burg, the 32-year-old-grand­son of Emper­or karl I, to the posi­tion of Hungary’s ambas­sador for Euro­pean Inte­gra­tion. In neigh­bour­ing Aus­tria, the tra­di­tional heart of Hab­s­burg pow­er, Georg’s broth­er, Karl, 35, was recent­ly elect­ed to rep­re­sent the coun­try in the Euro­pean par­lia­ment. In addi­tion to this, he serves as the pres­i­dent of the Aus­trian branch of the Pan-Euro­pean move­ment. . . . .”
Jump­ing for­ward some 14 years from our pre­vi­ous arti­cle, we see that a Hab­s­burg princess was anoint­ed as Geor­gia’s ambas­sador to Ger­many. Note that [now for­mer] Geor­gian pres­i­dent Mikheil Saakashvili endorsed her. Saakashvili became, for a time, the gov­er­nor of the Ukrain­ian province of Odessa! Note, also, the role of the Hab­s­burgs in the final phase of the Cold War: “. . . . The heirs to the Hab­s­burg emper­ors helped speed the down­fall of the Sovi­et empire, par­tic­u­larly by arrang­ing the cross-bor­der exo­dus from Hun­gary to Aus­tria in the sum­mer of 1989 that punched the first big hole in the iron cur­tain. . . .”
Karl von Hab­s­burg has been active in Ukraine for some years before estab­lish­ing a radio sta­tion. Karl von Hab­s­burg is the head of the UNPO. Note the Ukrain­ian ori­en­ta­tion and influ­ence of Wil­helm von Hab­s­burg, in World War I through the World War II eras, as well as his anti-Sovi­et activism: ” . . . . A mil­i­tary offi­cer by train­ing, Wil­helm sup­ported Ukraine’s inde­pen­dence strug­gle dur­ing World War I. He fought with Ukrain­ian troops against the Rus­sians, and had schemed and cajoled a myr­iad of politi­cians to sup­port his monar­chial aspi­ra­tions. Almost until his death at the hands of the Sovi­ets in 1948 – he was snatched off the streets of Vien­na and trans­ported to a prison in Kyiv for work­ing as an agent against the Sovi­et Union – Wil­helm believed this slice of the family’s empire could be his. . . .”
4.–Fast-forwarding again some five years from our pre­vi­ous two arti­cles and one year after the Euro­Maid­an coup we see that actions speak loud­er than words, and Karl’s new Ukrain­ian radio sta­tion says a lot: “Since 20 Jan­u­ary, a tru­ly Euro­pean radio sta­tion [Note this–D.E.] is broad­cast­ing in Ukraine, its main spon­sor, Karl-Hab­s­burg Lothrin­gen, told EurAc­tiv in an exclu­sive inter­view . . . . Karl Hab­s­burg-Lothrin­gen is an Aus­trian politi­cian and head of the House of Hab­s­burg. Since 1986, he has served as Pres­i­dent of the Aus­trian branch of the Paneu­ro­pean Union. . . .”

As we not­ed, “Plan B” for Ukraine might be termed “Plan OUN/B.” Otto von Hab­s­burg formed the Euro­pean Free­dom Coun­cil with Jaroslav Stet­zko, the wartime head of the Ukrain­ian Nazi col­lab­o­ra­tionist gov­ern­ment that imple­ment­ed Third Reich eth­nic cleans­ing pro­grams in Ukraine. The EFC was close­ly aligned with the Anti-Bol­she­vik Bloc of Nations, head­ed by Stet­zko. The ABN, as we have seen in the past, is a re-nam­ing of the Com­mit­tee of Sub­ju­gat­ed Nations, a con­sor­tium of East­ern Euro­pean fas­cist groups formed by Hitler in 1943.”. . . . The Haps­burg monar­chy helped guide the lead­er­ship in their for­mer pos­ses­sions. The Free­dom Coun­cil was formed by Otto von Haps­burg and Jaroslav Stet­zko at a con­fer­ence in Munich on June 30-July 2 1967, as a coor­di­nat­ing body for orga­ni­za­tions fight­ing com­mu­nism in Europe. EMP H.R.H. Otto von Haps­burg was hon­orary chair­man of the Euro­pean Free­dom Coun­cil, based in Munich, dur­ing the 1980s and allied to the Anti-Bol­she­vik Bloc of Nations (ABN). . . .”

An impor­tant con­sid­er­a­tion in the con­text of his pro­gram is the career and posi­tion of Roman Zvarych. In addi­tion to being the spokesman for the Nazi Azov Bat­tal­ion, Zvarych was:

1.–Minister of Jus­tice under Vik­tor Yuschenko.
2.–Minister of Jus­tice under both Tymoshenko gov­ern­ments.
3.–An advis­er to Petro Poroshenko.
4.–In the 1980’s, the per­son­al sec­re­tary to Jaroslav Stet­zko, the wartime head of the Nazi col­lab­o­ra­tionist gov­ern­ment in Ukraine. Stet­zko imple­ment­ed Nazi eth­nic cleans­ing in Ukraine dur­ing World War II.

Pro­gram High­lights Include:

1.–Ukraine’s sus­pen­sion of coop­er­a­tion with the Mueller probe, in order to avoid endan­ger­ing Trump’s arm­ing of Ukraine.
2.–Manafort and the Hab­s­burg Group’s net­work­ing with Andrei Arte­menko, a Pravy Sek­tor affil­i­ate whose oper­a­tions with Felix Sater and Michael Cohen were described as part of a Russ­ian con­spir­a­cy but were, in fact, part of an anti-Russ­ian con­spir­a­cy. This is dis­cussed at length in FTR #967.
3.–Review of Felix Sater’s intel­li­gence back­ground. Sater is the point man for Trump’s deal­ings with Rus­sia. ” . . . . Sater report­ed back to intel­li­gence agen­cies on the results of coali­tion bomb­ings, kills on the bat­tle­field, the finan­cial net­works behind the 9/11 bombers and oth­er al-Qae­da mem­bers world­wide, and even the iden­ti­ty of a New Mex­i­co com­pa­ny believed to be laun­der­ing ter­ror funds in the US. . . .”

FTR #1007 Alfa Males, Part 4: 9/11, the Underground Reich and the Russia-Gate Psy-Op

In this broad­cast, we present ele­ments fun­da­men­tal to an under­stand­ing of the Rus­sia-Gate psy-op–elements which heav­i­ly over­lap the 9/11 attacks in par­tic­u­lar.

In  sev­er­al pro­grams, we have not­ed Felix Sater’s work on behalf of both CIA and FBI.

Sater has been a very impor­tant U.S. intel­li­gence oper­a­tive, with many of his prin­ci­pal efforts involv­ing fields of endeav­or direct­ly relat­ed to Al-Qae­da, Osama bin Laden and the 9/11 attacks. The arti­cle below high­lights those efforts, espe­cial­ly some which place his work direct­ly in the milieu of the Oper­a­tion Green Quest raids, which were effec­tive­ly cov­ered up by Robert Mueller when he head­ed the FBI.

Next, we revis­it infor­ma­tion from FTR #530 con­cern­ing the rela­tion­ship between 9/11 hijack ring­leader Mohamed Atta and the Carl Duis­berg Gesellschaft, a joint U.S. Ger­man fel­low­ship pro­gram that spon­sored Atta’s entry to, and stay in, Ger­many. (For more about Atta and the CDS, see—among oth­er programs—FTR#’s 477, 523.)

It is inter­est­ing, and prob­a­bly sig­nif­i­cant that the mys­te­ri­ous Ger­man cou­ple who brought Atta into Ger­many under the aus­pices of the CDS came to meet him through their friend, Mohamed’s father. In FTR#523, we exam­ined the senior Atta’s appar­ent super­vi­sion of the hijack­ers in Flori­da. He was appar­ent­ly the leader of the group, a fact cov­ered up by the FBI. In FTR#519, we looked at the senior Atta’s endorse­ment of the Lon­don sub­way attacks.

Notice the strange cir­cum­stances under which the face­less Ger­man cou­ple came to spon­sor Atta. Does this make sense? Note, also, that the iden­ti­ty of the Ger­man cou­ple who spon­sored Atta was kept secret by the Chica­go Tri­bune. WHY?!

In 2011, the Carl Duis­berg Soci­ety merged with the Asso­ci­a­tion for Inter­na­tion­al Prac­ti­cal Train­ing (AIPT) and became Cul­tur­al Vis­tas. One of the CDS’s sub­sidiary ele­ments in the ear­ly years of this century–the Alfa Fel­low­ship Program–is now a sub­sidiary of Cul­tur­al Vis­tas.

In Jan­u­ary 2011, Cul­tur­al Vis­tas was formed after a non­prof­it merg­er between two long­stand­ing exchange orga­ni­za­tions: the Asso­ci­a­tion for Inter­na­tion­al Prac­ti­cal Train­ing (AIPT) and CDS Inter­na­tion­al.

The Carl Duis­berg Soci­ety (CDS Inter­na­tion­al in the above Wikipedia entry), which shep­herd­ed Atta into the U.S. is described in an entry on a web­site that also fea­tured the Alfa Fel­low­ship, spon­sored by the Alfa con­glom­er­ate: ” . . . . In the 1920’s, Carl Duis­berg, Gen­er­al Direc­tor of Bay­er AG in Ger­many, envi­sioned send­ing Ger­man stu­dents to the Unit­ed States on work-study pro­grams. Duis­berg was con­vinced that inter­na­tion­al prac­ti­cal train­ing was crit­i­cal to the growth of Ger­man indus­try. Many of the return­ing trainees lat­er rose to promi­nent posi­tions at AEG, Bay­er, Bosch, Daim­ler Benz, and Siemens, bring­ing with them new meth­ods for mass pro­duc­tion, new ideas, and new busi­ness prac­tices. Fol­low­ing World War II, alum­ni from the first exchanges found­ed the Carl Duis­berg Gesellschaft (CDG) in 1949 to help engi­neers, busi­ness­men and farm­ers gain inter­na­tion­al work expe­ri­ence nec­es­sary for the rebuild­ing of Ger­many . . . .”

The Alfa Fel­low­ship was on the web­site of the CDS.  Now, it is a sub­sidiary of the Cul­tur­al Vis­tas non-prof­it, result­ing from the merged CDS enti­ty.

“ALFA FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM: Near­ly fif­teen years after the fall of the Sovi­et Union, Cold War-era poli­cies and con­cepts con­tin­ue to affect U.S. rela­tions with Rus­sia. . . . The Alfa Fel­low­ship Pro­gram is designed to address this prob­lem . . . .”

Crown Resources and oth­er Crown enti­ties are part of the Alfa Group, one of whose out­growths is the CDS sub­sidiary pro­gram, the Alfa Fel­low­ship. Note that Marc Rich, whose par­don was inves­ti­gat­ed by for­mer FBI direc­tor James Comey, dealt with Crown Alfa, although an effort to sell his com­modi­ties deal to the  com­pa­ny failed. ” . . . . A deal to sell the Swiss-based com­modi­ties oper­a­tion of for­mer U.S. fugi­tive financier Marc Rich to Rus­sia-owned ener­gy trad­ing group Crown Resources is off. . . . Crown is owned by the Alfa Group con­glom­er­ate. . . .”

One of the prin­ci­pal fig­ures in the Crown/Alfa net­work is Dr. Nor­bert Seeger, about whom we will more below.

A crit­i­cal ele­ment of dis­cus­sion here con­cerns the tiny prin­ci­pal­i­ty of Liechtenstein—a small Euro­pean coun­try of 32,000 peo­ple, whose prin­ci­pal indus­try is mon­ey laun­der­ing. As we will see, Liecht­en­stein fig­ures sig­nif­i­cant­ly in the events in and around 9/11. In 2001, Prince Hans Adam became (for all intents and pur­pos­es) the only absolute monarch in Europe. This gam­bit was accom­plished through a pop­u­lar ref­er­en­dum, effect­ed under the aus­pices of a front group—the Pro­gres­sive Cit­i­zens Par­ty.

The ref­er­en­dum ced­ed to the Prince vir­tu­al­ly all real pow­er. In par­tic­u­lar, he had the abil­i­ty to com­plete­ly con­trol the judi­cial sys­tem, there­by con­trol­ling all legal inves­ti­ga­tions in the country—a par­tic­u­lar­ly inter­est­ing and impor­tant pow­er in the very impor­tant year of 2001! This assump­tion of absolute pow­er put Hans Adam in the posi­tion of being able to block or neu­tral­ize any legal inves­ti­ga­tion into any of the finan­cial shenani­gans that tran­spired in Liecht­en­stein, includ­ing 9/11-relat­ed activ­i­ties!

The Bank Al-Taqwa was incor­po­rat­ed in Liecht­en­stein! 

The head of Liechtenstein’s Pro­gres­sive Cit­i­zens Par­ty is Nor­bert Seeger—a prin­ci­pal fig­ure in Alfa’s Crown Resources sub­sidiary!!

Infor­ma­tion about the Al Taqwa/Asat Trust links with the roy­al fam­i­ly of Liecht­en­stein is set forth as fol­lows: ” . . . . One com­pa­ny in the Al Taqwa galaxy that was des­ig­nat­ed by the Unit­ed States and the U.N. as a ter­ror­ist-relat­ed enti­ty is a Liecht­en­stein enti­ty called Asat Trust. . . . The records also shed light on the involve­ment of one mem­ber of the roy­al fam­i­ly of Liecht­en­stein in Asat Trust. Accord­ing to the doc­u­ments, deceased Prince Emanuel von und zu Liecht­en­stein became a board mem­ber of Asat Trust in May 1970 and stayed until Novem­ber 1990, when he was replaced by Mar­tin Wachter, the trust’s cur­rent direc­tor. Flo­ri­an Krenkel, a spokesman for the roy­al fam­i­ly, said Prince Emmanuel had died in 1987 and that he was a dis­tant cousin from rul­ing Prince Hans Adam II. . . .

“. . . There also appears to be some links between Asat Trust and a bank owned by the Liecht­en­stein roy­al fam­i­ly. Sev­er­al Asat Trust doc­u­ments fea­ture on their let­ter­heads ‘Bank in Liecht­en­stein AG’ beneath ‘Asat Trust.’ The roy­al fam­i­ly bank has changed its name and is now called LGT bank. . . .”

Delv­ing into the nature of the roy­al fam­i­ly of Liecht­en­stein, the pro­gram clos­es with dis­cus­sion of the close­ness between Hans-Adam II’s clan and the Haps­burg dynasty that ruled the Aus­tro-Hun­gar­i­an Empire until the end of World War I.

FTR #938 The Trumpenkampfverbande, Part 12: Settling In, Part 2 (The Underground Reich Comes Into Plain View, Part 5)

In FTR #‘s 891 and 895, we high­light­ed the Broad­cast­ing Board of Gov­er­nors, a Con­gres­sion­al fig leaf insti­tut­ed to dilute CIA con­trol over Amer­i­can for­eign broad­cast out­lets such as Radio Free Europe, Voice of Amer­i­ca and Radio Free Asia. In addi­tion to the broad­cast out­lets dis­cussed in the sto­ry that fol­lows, we note that the change from a “board of gov­er­nors” to a “CEO” to be appoint­ed by Trump also gives the nom­i­nee pow­er over Radio Free Asi­a’s Open Tech­nol­o­gy Fund, devel­op­er of numer­ous apps and oth­er tech­no­log­i­cal method­olo­gies favored by the so-called “pri­va­cy advo­cates.”

The replace­ment of the gov­er­nors is seen as a poten­tial boon to the Trump admin­is­tra­tion. “ . . . . ‘There’s some fear among the folks here, that the fire­wall will get dimin­ished and attacked and this could fall vic­tim to pro­pa­gan­da,’ the Repub­li­can offi­cial said. ‘They will hire the per­son they want, the cur­rent CEO does not stand a chance. This will pop up on Steve Bannon’s radar quick­ly. They are going to put a friend­ly per­son in that job.’ . . . . ”

The change will affect domes­tic broad­cast media as well. ” . . . . Because of the mod­i­fi­ca­tion of the Smith-Mundt Act in 2013, the BBG can now broad­cast in the U.S., too. But the influ­ence on the domes­tic mar­ket could be even more sub­tle, the Repub­li­can offi­cial warned. A BBG CEO influ­enced by the admin­is­tra­tion could pen­e­trate estab­lished media out­lets with pack­ages, series or oth­er news prod­ucts pro­duced by the BBG’s net­works but picked up and aired by tra­di­tion­al media like Fox News or Bre­it­bart. Many U.S. out­lets cur­rent­ly use con­tent from VOA. ‘No mon­ey would even change hands, you’ve had no effect on the bud­get,’ the offi­cial said. ‘But it will den­i­grate the prod­uct. . . . ’ ”

In the con­text of the changes made to the BBG, we review the polit­i­cal incli­na­tions of Ban­non: ” . . . The late Andrew Bre­it­bart, founder of the web­site Ban­non went on to lead, called Ban­non the “Leni Riefen­stahl of the Tea Par­ty movement”—a ref­er­ence to the infa­mous cre­ator of Nazi pro­pa­gan­da films. While insist­ing to a Wall Street Jour­nal reporter in 2011 that his work isn’t pro­pa­gan­da, Ban­non went on to cite Riefen­stahl among his main influ­ences . . . ”

Next, we turn to the sub­ject of free trade, on which Trump has had much to say, bash­ing Chi­na and Mex­i­co as coun­tries the U.S. should “put right” in their trade rela­tions with the U.S. It’s worth not­ing we haven’t heard Trump men­tion a trade war with Ger­many despite all his tirades against Chi­na and Mex­i­co. It rais­es the ques­tion of why, since Germany’s unprece­dent­ed and dam­ag­ing sur­plus­es make it such an obvi­ous trade war tar­get.

” . . . . There is one poten­tial trade war, how­ev­er, that few peo­ple have so far noticed — but which could soon be his eas­i­est tar­get. Ger­many. Giv­en the size of its pop­u­la­tion, it runs a far larg­er trade sur­plus than Chi­na — and a mas­sive sur­plus with the U.S. in par­tic­u­lar. Even bet­ter, the indus­tries to pick off are rel­a­tive­ly sim­ple to iden­ti­fy, and would actu­al­ly have a chance of cre­at­ing well-paid Amer­i­can jobs. . . .

“. . . . Germany’s trade sur­plus is absolute­ly mas­sive, and unprece­dent­ed in mod­ern indus­tri­al his­to­ry. Last year it hit 8.9% of gross domes­tic prod­uct, and it is like­ly to break through 9% before the end of 2016. Glob­al­ly, it is sec­ond in size only to China’s, but giv­en that Ger­many is a far small­er coun­try, it is only fair to mea­sure it on a per capi­ta basis — and when you look at it that way, Germany’s sur­plus is sev­en times big­ger than China’s. . . . Much of Germany’s trade sur­plus is clear­ly the result of cur­ren­cy manip­u­la­tion. The euro has depressed the real val­ue of the country’s exports, allow­ing it rack up those huge exports. You can argue about whether China’s cur­ren­cy is real­ly at its fair val­ue or not — but no one can real­ly dis­pute that Germany’s cur­ren­cy is way, way below what it would be if it still had the deutschemark. . . .”

Obvi­ous­ly, part of the answer lies in the fact that Deutsche Bank–a key ele­ment of the Bor­mann cap­i­tal net­work and the Under­ground Reich–is owed hun­dreds of mil­lions of dol­lars by Trump. Trump’s oth­er con­nec­tions run in the direc­tion of the Under­ground Reich as well. (The Trump/Deutsche Bank con­nec­tion is dis­cussed, in among oth­er pro­grams, FTR #‘s 920, 921, 922 and 927.)

We note in pass­ing that Ger­many is prepar­ing for a trade war with the U.S.–we don’t think one will real­ly take place, but we may be treat­ed to Trumpian “fake news” and/or pro­pa­gan­da. Ger­many is assert­ing that the fac­tors behind its enor­mous trade sur­plus can not be altered, because it is due to nat­u­ral­ly occur­ring cir­cum­stances like a rapid­ly aging pop­u­la­tion.

” . . . There are plen­ty of rea­sons for that. Germany’s cur­rent account sur­plus has nev­er been as high as it is this year and nev­er before has that sur­plus rep­re­sent­ed such a sig­nif­i­cant share of the country’s gross domes­tic prod­uct. Mak­ing mat­ters worse is the fact that the US is the largest con­sumer of Ger­man exports. . . .

“. . . . As high as it is, though, the cur­rent sur­plus is like­ly to con­tin­ue grow­ing. The recent fall in the euro’s val­ue rel­a­tive to the dol­lar fol­low­ing Trump’s elec­tion makes Ger­man prod­ucts and ser­vices even more com­pet­i­tive. And many econ­o­mists believe that the val­ue of the dol­lar will con­tin­ue to climb, which means that the val­ue of the euro against the dol­lar will shrink cor­re­spond­ing­ly. Their pre­dic­tions are based on recent indi­ca­tions that Trump’s announced eco­nom­ic stim­u­lus poli­cies will push up both America’s sov­er­eign debt load and its inter­est rates. . . .”

The pro­gram con­cludes with analy­sis of how Trump’s con­tin­ued involve­ment in his busi­ness empire (through his chil­dren) leaves him open to manip­u­la­tion. The Philip­pines is a good exam­ple: “ . . . . So, under the deal, Trump’s chil­dren will be paid mil­lions of dol­lars through­out their father’s pres­i­den­cy by Jose E.B. Anto­nio, the head of Cen­tu­ry Prop­er­ties.

“Duterte recent­ly named Anto­nio the spe­cial gov­ern­ment envoy to the Unit­ed States. FTR #937 The Trumpenkampfverbande, Part 11: Settling In (The Underground Reich Comes into Plain View, Part 4)

This pro­gram con­tin­ues our analy­sis of the trans­for­ma­tion of the Under­ground Reich into a tri­umphant, broad-based move­ment. Some key fea­tures of the analy­sis include:

“Alt-Right” lumi­nary Richard B. Spencer’s greet­ing to his fol­low­ers at a meet­ing held a few blocks from the White House a cou­ple of weeks after Trump’s vic­to­ry: ” . . . ‘Hail Trump, hail our peo­ple, hail vic­to­ry!’ That’s how Richard B. Spencer salut­ed more than 200 atten­dees on Sat­ur­day, gath­ered at the Ronald Rea­gan Build­ing in Wash­ing­ton, D.C., for the annu­al con­fer­ence of the Nation­al Pol­i­cy Insti­tute, which describes itself as ‘an inde­pen­dent orga­ni­za­tion ded­i­cat­ed to the her­itage, iden­ti­ty, and future of peo­ple of Euro­pean descent in the Unit­ed States, and around the world.’ . . .”

Spencer’s ref­er­enc­ing of Nazi anti-Semit­ic pro­pa­gan­da, racial the­o­ry and attacks on the media in that same address: “. . . . He railed against Jews and, with a smile, quot­ed Nazi pro­pa­gan­da in the orig­i­nal Ger­man. Amer­i­ca, he said, belonged to white peo­ple, whom he called the ‘chil­dren of the sun,’ a race of con­querors and cre­ators who had been mar­gin­al­ized but now, in the era of Pres­i­dent-elect Don­ald J. Trump, were ‘awak­en­ing to their own iden­ti­ty.’ . . . Mr. Spencer’s after-din­ner speech began with a polemic against the ‘main­stream media,’ before he briefly paused. ‘Per­haps we should refer to them in the orig­i­nal Ger­man?’ he said. The audi­ence imme­di­ate­ly screamed back, ‘Lügen­presse,’ reviv­ing a Nazi-era word that means ‘lying press.’ Mr. Spencer sug­gest­ed that the news media had been crit­i­cal of Mr. Trump through­out the cam­paign in order to pro­tect Jew­ish inter­ests. . . . ‘One won­ders if these peo­ple are peo­ple at all, or instead soul­less golem,’ he said, refer­ring to a Jew­ish fable about the golem, a clay giant that a rab­bi brings to life to pro­tect the Jews. . . . Mr. Trump’s elec­tion, Mr. Spencer said, was ‘the vic­to­ry of will,’ a phrase that echoed the title of the most famous Nazi-era pro­pa­gan­da film. [Leni Riefen­stahl’s “Tri­umph of the Will.”–D.E.] . . . .”

Trump’s chief White House advi­sor, “Alt-Right” pub­lish­ing king­pin Stephen P. Ban­non describ­ing him­self as an “eco­nom­ic nation­al­ist” and dis­cussing how excit­ing the com­ing peri­od will be: ” . . . I’m an eco­nom­ic nation­al­ist,’ Ban­non told the news out­let ear­li­er this week. [The term “Nazi” is a con­trac­tion of “Nation­al Socialist”–D.E.] . . . ‘It will be as excit­ing as the 1930s . . . con­ser­v­a­tives, plus pop­ulists, in an eco­nom­ic nation­al­ist move­ment.’ . . .”

Ban­non also ref­er­enced ele­ments he thought were good exem­plars of “dark­ness.” “. . . . Ban­non, in the [Hol­ly­wood Reporter] inter­view, also gave some insight into how he viewed his polit­i­cal foes (pre­sum­ably, lib­er­als and the media) — and the ‘dark­ness’ he touts in fight­ing against them. ‘Dark­ness is good,’ Ban­non said. ‘Dick Cheney. Darth Vad­er. Satan. That’s pow­er. It only helps us when they…get it wrong. When they’re blind to who we are and what we’re doing.’ . . . ”

The fact that New York Times colum­nist Charles Blow voiced what we feel is an accu­rate sen­ti­ment: ” . . . This may well be the begin­ning of the end: the ear­ly moments of a his­tor­i­cal piv­ot point, when the slide of the repub­lic into some­thing unto­ward and unrec­og­niz­able still feels like a small col­lec­tion of poor judg­ments and reversible deci­sions, rather than the for­ward edge of an enor­mous men­ace inch­ing its way for­ward and grind­ing up that which we held dear and fool­ish­ly thought, as lovers do, would ever endure. . . .”

Blow’s under­scor­ing of Trump Nation­al Secu­ri­ty Advi­sor Gen­er­al (ret.) Michael Fly­n­n’s affin­i­ty for “Alt-Right”/white suprema­cist Mike Cer­novich: “. . . . In Octo­ber, Fly­nn tweet­ed: ‘Fol­low Mike @Cernovich He has a ter­rif­ic book, Goril­la Mind­set. Well worth the read. @realDonaldTrump will win on 8 NOV!!!’ The New York­er dubbed Mike Cer­novich ‘the meme mas­ter­mind of the alt-right’ in a lengthy pro­file. The mag­a­zine point­ed out: ‘On his blog, Cer­novich devel­oped a the­o­ry of white-male iden­ti­ty pol­i­tics: men were oppressed by fem­i­nism, and polit­i­cal cor­rect­ness pre­vent­ed the dis­cus­sion of obvi­ous truths, such as the crim­i­nal pro­cliv­i­ties of cer­tain eth­nic groups.’ . . . . ”

Much of the pro­gram focus­es on the media and com­mu­ni­ca­tion and the cor­rup­tion of the very con­cept of truth and the pro­fes­sion of jour­nal­ism. The grow­ing, dom­i­nant phe­nom­e­non of fake news was a major fac­tor in the cam­paign. The growth of social media, the role of Wik­iLeaks and the pro­cliv­i­ty of Don­ald Trump and those around him for tweet­ing dis­in­for­ma­tion are herald­ing the trans­for­ma­tion of jour­nal­ism into pro­pa­gan­da.

In addi­tion to Nation­al Secu­ri­ty Advi­sor Michael Fly­nn, his son and advi­sor Michael Fly­nn, Jr. is a major advo­cate of “fake news,” say­ing that a sto­ry should assumed to be true until proven false. We note that Fly­nn, Sr. dis­sem­i­nat­ed a fake news sto­ry about the Clin­tons alleged involve­ment with a child-molesta­tion ring. That sto­ry tracks back to Erik Prince, the founder of Black­wa­ter, whose sis­ter, Bet­sy DeVos, has been nom­i­nat­ed Edu­ca­tion Sec­re­tary by Trump. Anoth­er of Trump’s advi­sors, Joseph E. Schmitz, suc­ceed­ed Prince as the head of Black­wa­ter. With pow­er­ful, mil­i­tar­i­ly capa­ble out­fits like Black­wa­ter (since renamed) in the Trumpenkampfver­bande, the capa­bil­i­ties for vio­lent sup­pres­sion of dis­sent­ing jour­nal­ism are enor­mous.

Trump has been extreme­ly vocal in his crit­i­cism of dis­sent­ing media, lam­bast­ing broad­cast jour­nal­ists at a recent meet­ing and mov­ing to “loosen libel laws.” With Trump poised to appoint sev­er­al Supreme Court jus­tices and oth­er fed­er­al judges, the capa­bil­i­ties for the Trumpenkampfver­bande to elim­i­nate free speech will be pro­found. Trump has also been one of a num­ber of bil­lion­aires who have made a point of suing media voic­es they dis­like. This comes at a time when the growth of the inter­net has made media out­lets more finan­cial­ly vul­ner­a­ble to that sort of pres­sure.

Oth­er Pro­gram High­lights Include: the cre­ation of a “Pro­fes­sor Watch­list” by a right-wing youth group; rumi­na­tion about how “open-car­ry laws” (such as one in Texas per­mit­ting col­lege stu­dents to take hand­guns to class) might affect the well being of pro­fes­sors on that watch list; the sus­pen­sion of Frank Navar­ro, a Moun­tain View (Cal­i­for­nia) high school teacher and Holo­caust expert, for com­par­ing (right­ly) Trump’s rise to the rise of Adolf Hitler; The U.S. vote against U.N. res­o­lu­tion con­demn­ing the cel­e­bra­tion of Nazism and neo-Nazism on the grounds that it would restrict free speech (tell that to Frank Navar­ro!)

FTR #922 The Trumpenkampfverbande, Part 5: Walkin’ the Snake with “The Donald” (The Underground Reich Comes Into Plain View, Part 3)

Sup­ple­ment­ing analy­sis in the first four pro­grams about the Trumpenkampfver­bande, this pro­gram exam­ines the media bias in his favor in the con­text of the Nazi tract “Ser­pen­t’s Walk,” about a Nazi takeover of the U.S. in the mid-twen­ty-first cen­tu­ry. That takeover occurs after the SS goes under­ground (which hap­pened), builds up their “eco­nom­ic mus­cle,” (which has hap­pened with the Bor­mann net­work), buys into the opin­ion-form­ing media (which has hap­pened) and sways the Amer­i­can peo­ple. “A cen­tu­ry after the war they are ready to chal­lenge the democ­rats and Jews for the hearts and minds of White Amer­i­cans, who have begun to have their fill of gov­ern­ment-enforced mul­ti-cul­tur­al­ism and ‘equal­i­ty.’ ” This appears to be hap­pen­ing with the Trump cam­paign. Not­ing the inces­sant grilling of Hillary Clin­ton over the e‑mail non-scan­dal (110 of 30,000 e‑mails con­tained clas­si­fied mate­r­i­al, a 0.36 per­cent mar­gin of error) and the Clin­ton Foun­da­tion (a char­i­ty that helps the dis­ad­van­tage and enjoys a high­er offi­cial rat­ing than the Amer­i­can Red Cross), Paul Krug­man com­pared this–accurately–to the kid glove treat­ment afford­ed the dis­hon­est and incom­pe­tent George W. Bush dur­ing the 2000 cam­paign. Review­ing Trump’s cred­i­tors, we note the pri­ma­ry role of Deutsche Bank in under­writ­ing his real estate projects and the mys­te­ri­ous, opaque projects involv­ing Ger­man indus­tri­al and aris­to­crat­ic ele­ments. After review­ing the absolute con­trol that the Bor­mann cap­i­tal net­work wields over cor­po­rate Ger­many, the pro­gram high­lights the fun­da­men­tal rela­tion­ship between Deutsche Bank, Bor­mann and the remark­able and dead­ly net­work the Reich­sleit­er found­ed. Heav­i­ly invest­ed in Amer­i­can cor­po­ra­tions, the Bor­mann group and the Under­ground Reich are in an excel­lent posi­tion to manip­u­late media cov­er­age of events, through direct cor­po­rate edi­to­r­i­al pol­i­cy and through the award­ing of adver­tis­ing con­tracts. We note, also, that the Bor­mann group con­trols cor­po­rate Ger­many: ” . . . What will not pass is the eco­nom­ic influ­ences of the Bor­mann orga­ni­za­tion, whose com­mer­cial direc­tives are obeyed almost with­out ques­tion by the high­est ech­e­lons of West Ger­man finance and indus­try. ‘All orders come from the share­hold­ers in South Amer­i­ca,’ I have been told by a spokesman for Mar­tin Bor­mann. . . .” The con­trol of cor­po­rate Ger­many fur­ther enhances the abil­i­ty of the Under­ground Reich to con­trol media cov­er­age. We are of the con­sid­ered opin­ion that this dynam­ic is a major fac­tor in the grotesque­ly slant­ed cov­er­age of Trump’s cam­paign. While the “pun­dits” nat­ter end­less­ly about Hillary Clin­ton’s health (nev­er even con­sid­er­ing that she may have been vec­tored), they are com­plete­ly ignor­ing the fact that Trump is hun­dreds of mil­lions of dol­lars in debt to Deutsche Bank, a preda­to­ry “too big to fail” insti­tu­tion that has flout­ed this coun­try’s reg­u­la­to­ry statutes and engaged in open law break­ing. And, it’s a Bor­mann bank. The broad­cast con­cludes with a tran­si­tion­al ele­ment that notes Trump’s polit­i­cal evo­lu­tion from the anarcho/fascist lib­er­tar­i­an milieu of Ron Paul, the same polit­i­cal forces that are the foun­da­tion of “Team Snow­den” and WikiLeaks/Assange. ” . . . . Trump’s style and posi­tions — endors­ing and con­sort­ing with 9/11 truthers, pro­mot­ing online racists, using fake sta­tis­tics— draw on a now-obscure polit­i­cal strat­e­gy called “pale­olib­er­tar­i­an­ism,” which was once quite pop­u­lar among some Repub­li­cans, espe­cial­ly for­mer pres­i­den­tial can­di­date Ron Paul. . . . But it was [Mur­ray] Rothbard’s found­ing of the Lud­wig von Mis­es Insti­tute in 1982 that enabled the fledg­ling polit­i­cal move­ment to estab­lish affin­i­ty with the neo-Con­fed­er­ate Lost Cause move­ment. . . . In the past few years, how­ev­er, it’s been reborn as the alt-right, as a new gen­er­a­tion of lib­er­tar­i­ans dis­cov­ered their hid­den her­itage and began embrac­ing racism and con­spir­a­cy the­o­ries. Many alt-right writ­ers trace their roots to Roth­bard. As one of them, Gre­go­ry Hood, put it, pale­olib­er­tar­i­an the­o­ries about race and democ­ra­cy “helped lead to the emer­gence [of the] Alter­na­tive Right.” Rothbard’s call for “sov­er­eign nations based on race and eth­nic­i­ty” is very sim­i­lar to beliefs Trump’s alt-right sup­port­ers express today. . . .” Pro­gram High­lights Include: review of the own­er­ship of the Quandt cor­po­ra­tion, par­ent com­pa­ny of BMW and Audi auto­mo­biles by the heirs of Joseph Goebbels; BMW’s use of adver­tis­ing con­tracts to influ­ence edi­to­r­i­al pol­i­cy at “The Atlantic” mag­a­zine; review of George Soros’s role in financ­ing Trump’s Chica­go tow­er; review of the gen­e­sis of Soros’s busi­ness career “Aryaniz­ing” Jew­ish prop­er­ty dur­ing the Holo­caust.

FTR #921 The Trumpenkampfverbande, Part 4: Trump on the Stump (The Underground Reich Emerges Into Plain View, Part 2)

Con­tin­u­ing analy­sis of Don­ald Trump’s can­di­da­cy, this pro­gram high­lights Trump’s suc­cess­ful use of Hitler’s rhetor­i­cal style and prin­ci­ples. Blog­ger Josh Mar­shall not­ed: ” . . . This was as wild and as unbri­dled a speech as I’ve seen from Trump. Even if you couldn’t under­stand Eng­lish, it would be stun­ning to watch the slash­ing hand ges­tures, the red face, the yelling. . . . Watch­ing this speech, com­pared to the press con­fer­ence today in Mex­i­co City, what kept com­ing to my mind was the con­trast between Hitler’s uni­formed ral­ly speech­es from the hus­tings and the suit­ed, states­man Hitler we see in the old news reels in Munich and at oth­er icon­ic moments in the late 1930s. . . . the dem­a­gog­ic style, the fren­zied invo­ca­tion of famil­ial blood sac­ri­ficed to bar­bar­ic out­siders – these are not unique to him [Hitler]. When we see this lurid, stab-in-the-back incite­ment, the wild hyper­bole, the febrile rail­ing against out­siders who will make us no longer a coun­try – the sim­i­lar­i­ties are real. More than any­thing, per­haps the most chill­ing part of this day is the con­trast between the two men – a mea­sured, calm states­man fig­ure we saw this after­noon and this rail­ing, angry dem­a­gogue fig­ure who cap­tured the emo­tion­al tenor of a Klan ral­ly. . . .” The sim­i­lar­i­ty does not appear to be coin­ci­den­tal: “. . . . Don­ald Trump appears to take aspects of his Ger­man back­ground seri­ous­ly. John Wal­ter works for the Trump Orga­ni­za­tion, and when he vis­its Don­ald in his office, Ivana told a friend, he clicks his heels and says, ‘Heil Hitler,’ pos­si­bly as a fam­i­ly joke. . . . Ivana Trump told her lawyer Michael Kennedy that from time to time her hus­band reads a book of Hitler’s col­lect­ed speech­es, ‘My New Order,’ which he keeps in a cab­i­net by his bed. . . .” The prin­ci­ples of the book have been put into action: “. . . . But it appears that one way or anoth­er, much of the con­tent in ‘My New Order’ about how Hitler says pro­pa­gan­da works, and how he struc­tures his speak­ing style, and how Hitler tar­gets the low­est-com­mon denom­i­na­tor as his intend­ed audi­ence, has seeped into Trump: the way he speaks, argues, rages and responds in pub­lic. . . .” Trump’s rhetor­i­cal rein­car­na­tion of Hitler cor­re­sponds to polit­i­cal sup­port from a bevy of fas­cists and white suprema­cists, old and new, as dis­cussed in FTR #‘s 882 and 920. Fur­ther­more, the financ­ing for his com­plex, mys­te­ri­ous­ly opaque real estate oper­a­tions comes from insti­tu­tions and indi­vid­u­als linked to the remark­able and dead­ly Bor­mann cap­i­tal net­work, as high­light­ed in FTR #920. Con­tin­u­ing to man­i­fest “dog whis­tles” direct­ed at the Nazi faith­ful, Trump’s cam­paign pre­sent­ed the unlike­ly num­ber of 88 high-rank­ing mil­i­tary offi­cers who sup­port his can­di­da­cy, chan­nel­ing the “88” device used by post­war Nazis to code “Heil Hitler.” (“H” is the 8th let­ter of the alpha­bet.) One of the few observers to cor­rect­ly ana­lyze the scan­dalous role of the media in their cov­er­age of Trump’s cam­paign is for­mer CNN host Soledad O’Brien: ” . . . ‘If you look at Hillary Clinton’s speech where she basi­cal­ly point­ed out that what Don­ald Trump has done — actu­al­ly quite well — has nor­mal­ized white suprema­cy,’ O’Brien explained to CNN host Bri­an Stel­ter on Sun­day. ‘I think she made a very good argu­ment, almost like a lawyer. . . . QUICK: How many Pres­i­den­tial can­di­dates can you name who kept a book of Adolf Hitler’s speech­es by their bed­side? Don­ald Trump does. For many years, what Mr. Emory terms “The Under­ground Reich” has been a fun­da­men­tal point of dis­cus­sion and analy­sis in these broad­casts and posts. In the third pro­gram ana­lyz­ing the Don­ald Trump cam­paign, we exam­ine the “Trumpenkampfver­bande,” its polit­i­cal antecedents and adher­ents. Exem­pli­fy­ing, and net­work­ing with, gen­er­a­tions of fas­cists and fas­cist orga­ni­za­tions, the Trumpenkampfver­bande embod­ies the emer­gence of the Under­ground Reich into plain view. A sig­na­ture ele­ment of Trump’s cam­paign is his resus­ci­ta­tion of the “Amer­i­ca First” slo­gan and con­cept, a man­i­fes­ta­tion both of his thin­ly-veiled appeal to Nazi and white suprema­cist ele­ments and his will­ing­ness to cede dom­i­nance over world affairs to a Ger­man-dom­i­nat­ed “third pow­er bloc.” The Amer­i­ca First con­cept mobi­lizes pow­er­ful feel­ings among those feel­ing over­whelmed and left behind by polit­i­cal and eco­nom­ic devel­op­ments glob­al­ly and in the Unit­ed States. We note that the “orig­i­nal” Amer­i­ca First was financed by Nazi Ger­many. Trump’s invo­ca­tion of Amer­i­ca First exem­pli­fies the nature of his polit­i­cal her­itage and alle­giances. One of his top advis­ers Joseph E. Schmitz, “obsessed with all things Ger­man” and, accord­ing to asso­ciates, some­one who “fired the Jews” (from the Pen­ta­gon) and man­i­fest­ed Holo­caust denial. This is not atyp­i­cal of “Team Trump.” One of the most impor­tant fig­ures in main­stream­ing “alt right” (i.e. Nazi, white nation­al­ist and anti-Semit­ic) atti­tudes has been Breitbart’s Steve Ban­non, now essen­tial­ly run­ning the Trump cam­paign. Trump and his cam­paign have a habit of re-tweet­ing infor­ma­tion from “alt right” web­sites and mes­sage boards. Of pri­ma­ry sig­nif­i­cance in ana­lyz­ing Trump con­cerns the main finan­cial backer of his real estate projects–Deutsche Bank. In addi­tion to the fact that this places a poten­tial Pres­i­dent in the posi­tion of owing upwards of $100 mil­lion to an insti­tu­tion that has open­ly defied U.S. reg­u­la­to­ry posi­tions, Deutsche Bank is a pri­ma­ry ele­ment of the remark­able and dead­ly Bor­mann cap­i­tal net­work, about which we speak so often. FTR #911 The Crimean Tatars, Ukraine and The Underground Reich: Update on the Earth Island Boogie

Keyed by the vic­to­ry of a Crimean Tatar singer in the Euro­vi­sion song contest–she sang about their depor­ta­tion by Stal­in in 1944–the Crimean Tatars are in the polit­i­cal spot­light again.

Agi­tat­ing and con­spir­ing along­side OUN/B fas­cist heirs Pravy Sek­tor in Ukraine, the Crimean Tatars have become some­thing of a cause cele­bre in the course of col­lab­o­rat­ing to desta­bi­lize Crimea and Rus­sia. What has been eclipsed by the cur­rent con­tro­ver­sy is the long his­to­ry of Crimean Tatar col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Third Reich, ini­tial­ly, and then West­ern intel­li­gence.

Uti­lized as a wedge against the for­mer Sovi­et Union, the Crimean Tatars were enlist­ed in the anti-Sovi­et Promethean League in the peri­od between the two world wars and sub­se­quent­ly turned to the Third Reich as spon­sors and allies, see­ing the Nazi armies as their tick­et to auton­o­my. Through­out this almost cen­tu­ry-long odyssey, the Crimean Tatars have served along­side the Ukrain­ian fas­cists of the OUN/B and its suc­ces­sor orga­ni­za­tions. ” . . . Berlin began forg­ing plans for win­ning over Sovi­et lin­guis­tic minori­ties (‘Volks­grup­pen’) to col­lab­o­rate with the Nazis in the war against Moscow. The atten­tion of strate­gists in the Ger­man For­eign Min­istry and in the Reich Min­istry for the Occu­pied East­ern Ter­ri­to­ries fell on the approx. 200,000 Crimean Tatars. The idea was encour­aged by the hope that, with the Tatar’s help, offi­cial­ly neu­tral Turkey could also be won over to enter the war. Ankara saw itself as the pro­tec­tive pow­er for Tur­kic-speak­ing minori­ties, includ­ing the Tatar lin­guis­tic group on the Crimean Penin­su­la. . . . The Bat­tle Group D began imme­di­ate­ly to recruit Crimean Tatar vol­un­teers for the war against the Sovi­et Union. In Decem­ber 1941, this bat­tle group had mas­sa­cred more than 13,000 peo­ple — 11,000 Jews and over 800 Roma — in Sim­fer­opol (Crimea). . . .”

Fol­low­ing mil­i­tary defeat in the Sec­ond World War, the Crimean Tatars and their pri­ma­ry spon­sor in the Ostministerium–Gerhard von Mende–continued their work apace under the aus­pices of Frank Wis­ner and Allen Dulles’s CIA and the Gehlen orga­ni­za­tion, both in its CIA incar­na­tion and after it’s incor­po­ra­tion as the BND, the intel­li­gence ser­vice of the Fed­er­al Repub­lic of Ger­many. The mafia began as a resis­tance move­ment focused against Norse (Viking) and Sara­cen (Turkish/Muslim) invaders in 12th and 13 cen­tu­ry Sici­ly. It might seem incred­i­ble to the casu­al observ­er that an orga­ni­za­tion that began so long ago could have devel­oped and spread to the size, grav­i­tas and scope of oper­a­tions that it has. We also appre­ci­ate that when Mr. Emory uses the term “Under­ground Reich,” it might seem odd or incred­i­ble to many. Bring­ing up to date “L’Af­faire Snow­den,” we under­score the deep pol­i­tics under­ly­ing the CIA’s broad­cast psy­cho­log­i­cal war­fare fronts and their evo­lu­tion into the milieu involv­ing and sur­round­ing Eddie the Friend­ly Spook. Much of the pro­gram under­scores the Gehlen Org’s links to the Under­ground Reich, in order to rein­force lis­ten­ers’ under­stand­ing of how this net­work dat­ing to World War II could project its influ­ence through the decades and into our con­tem­po­rary his­tor­i­cal peri­od. ” . . . A net­work of for­mer Nazi intel­li­gence agents, the major­i­ty of whom were mem­bers of the SS, began work­ing out of offices at Camp King side by side with army intel­li­gence offi­cers. . . . Analy­sis of the Pana­ma-based Mos­sack Fon­se­ca law firm sug­gests the pos­si­bil­i­ty that the firm is an intel­li­gence front of some kind. Beyond that, there are indi­ca­tions that the out­fit and/or key peo­ple involved with its gen­er­a­tive milieu are linked to the Under­ground Reich. Erhard Mos­sack, father of Mos­sack Fon­se­ca co-founder Juer­gen, not only served in the SS, but appears to have been recruit­ed by U.S. after the war. Erhard Mos­sack was in pos­ses­sion of lists of Were­wolf gueril­la unit mem­bers. Orig­i­nal­ly assem­bled to con­duct gueril­la war­fare against Allied armies occu­py­ing Ger­many, the Were­wolves were a key ele­ment of post-war Nazi escape routes and the Otto Sko­rzeny-man­aged ODESSA net­work. The Were­wolves were also the tem­plate for the ear­ly CIA/Gehlen Org “stay behind” units, the gen­e­sis of what became pop­u­lar­ly known as Oper­a­tion Glad­io. Mos­sack Fon­se­ca has helped “off­shore” mon­ey for many inter­ests, includ­ing the Mar­cos fam­i­ly’s Gold­en Lily-derived for­tune and the Thyssen-Borne­misza fam­i­ly’s art deal­ings. One of the most inter­est­ing of Mos­sack Fon­se­ca’s oper­a­tions is its piv­otal­ly impor­tant Neva­da sub­sidiary, head­ed by a Chilean woman named Patri­cia Amu­nategui, an admir­er of Augus­to Pinochet, Sara Palin, Mitt Rom­ney, the Koch broth­ers, the Dalai Lama and the cult built around Swa­mi Yoganan­da. A well-known and sem­i­nal “guru,” Yoganan­da was an admir­er of Hitler and Mus­soli­ni in the 1930’s.
