Intro­duc­tion: Pro­ject­ing what a Nazi vic­to­ry in World War II might bring, Win­ston Churchill observed that “The world will be plunged into an abyss, made more sin­is­ter by the knights of per­vert­ed sci­ence.” In this pro­gram, we build on a long-run­ning sup­po­si­tion that the Nazis did indeed win World War II, not on the bat­tle­field but dur­ing what Pruss­ian mil­i­tary the­o­reti­cian Karl von Clause­witz called “The post­war.”

This broad­cast is intend­ed to be used in con­junc­tion with L‑1 and L‑2: Might the future see Bor­mann net­work-con­trolled phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals and/or food­stuffs used to dis­sem­i­nate “Aryan-friend­ly,” genet­i­cal­ly-engi­neered bina­ry pathogens to an already vul­ner­a­ble and deplet­ed human­i­ty?

Might we see “Aryan” space aliens (“The Nine” or some man­i­fes­ta­tion of same) come down to earth to rule, dis­sem­i­nat­ing some kind of “divine” or “extrater­res­tri­al” eugen­ics doc­trine? Might this be com­bined with a vari­ety of theo­crat­ic Aryan suprema­cy reli­gion?

With the Rein­hard Gehlen spy out­fit and the Project [Oper­a­tion] Paper­clip sci­en­tists hav­ing been incor­po­rat­ed into the very heart of the U.S. and West­ern nation­al secu­ri­ty estab­lish­ments and with the Bor­mann cap­i­tal net­work dom­i­nat­ing the inter­na­tion­al car­tel sys­tem that stands astride the inter­na­tion­al cap­i­tal mar­kets, what we have termed the Under­ground Reich did indeed pre­vail in the post­war peri­od.

In this pro­gram, we take a look at what a Nazi future might look like.

Exam­in­ing some of the paths of appar­ent evo­lu­tion from Project Paper­clip, we high­light the prob­a­ble devel­op­ment of AIDS as a bio­log­i­cal weapon and under­score the Nazi racist/eugenics over­tones of var­i­ous New Age philoso­phies.

Cen­tral to our analy­sis is a look at an excerpt from tes­ti­mo­ny before a House appro­pri­a­tions sub­com­mit­tee that was draw­ing up the defense bud­get for the fol­low­ing year. (The hear­ings were in 1969.) The tes­ti­mo­ny dis­cuss­es the pos­si­bil­i­ty of using genet­ic engi­neer­ing to pro­duce a dis­ease that would be “refrac­to­ry” to the immune sys­tem. This is vir­tu­al­ly the clin­i­cal def­i­n­i­tion of AIDS. It is worth not­ing that the project was fund­ed, and just such a disease—AIDS—appeared in just the time frame posit­ed. It is also worth not­ing that, in the 2002 edi­tion of A High­er Form of Killing, this pas­sage is omit­ted!!

. . . As long ago as 1962, forty sci­en­tists were employed at the U.S. Army bio­log­i­cal war­fare lab­o­ra­to­ries on full-time genet­ics research. ‘Many oth­ers,’ it was said, ‘appre­ci­ate the impli­ca­tions of genet­ics for their own work.’ The impli­ca­tions were made more spe­cif­ic that genet­ic engi­neer­ing could solve one of the major dis­ad­van­tages of bio­log­i­cal war­fare, that it is lim­it­ed to dis­eases which occur nat­u­ral­ly some­where in the world. ‘With­in the next 5 to 10 years, it would prob­a­bly be pos­si­ble to make a new infec­tive micro-organ­ism which could dif­fer in cer­tain impor­tant respects from any known dis­ease-caus­ing organ­isms. Most impor­tant of these is that it might be refrac­to­ry to the immuno­log­i­cal and ther­a­peu­tic process­es upon which we depend to main­tain our rel­a­tive free­dom from infec­tious dis­ease.’ [Ital­ics are Mr. Emory’s.] The pos­si­bil­i­ty that such a ‘super germ’ may have been suc­cess­ful­ly pro­duced in a lab­o­ra­to­ry some­where in the world in the years since that assess­ment was made is one which should not be too read­i­ly cast aside. . .

Pure­bred North­ern Euro­peans pos­sess a hered­i­tary immu­ni­ty to infec­tion by HIV, a gene (CCR5Delta 32) that con­ferred immu­ni­ty to the Black Death, long believed to have been bubon­ic plague. Bubon­ic plague was a major focal point of Third Reich bio­log­i­cal weapons research, stem­ming from SS chief Hein­rich Himm­ler’s inter­est in that dis­ease.

Dis­guised as a can­cer research pro­gram, Nazi Ger­many’s plague research was presided over by Kurt Blome, the deputy sur­geon gen­er­al of the Third Reich. Blome went to work for the U.S. under Project Paper­clip (also known as Oper­a­tion Paper­clip.) We won­der if the Nazi research into bubon­ic plague and the emer­gence of an immune-destroy­ing dis­ease to which only pure-bred North­ern Europeans–“Aryans”–were immune might have been the out­growth of Nazi-inspired U.S. bio­log­i­cal weapons research stem­ming from Paper­clip?

Anoth­er devel­op­ment in that con­text is note­wor­thy:

When the U.S. offi­cial­ly “gave up” bio­log­i­cal war­fare research, Fort Detrick–the mil­i­tary’s top bw research facil­i­ty, was offi­cial­ly turned over to the Nation­al Can­cer Insti­tute’s Viral Can­cer Research Project. Fea­tur­ing vet­er­ans of the U.S. bio­log­i­cal war­fare research pro­gram, the NCI’s VCP was imple­ment­ed by Lit­ton Bio­net­ics, a biotech­nol­o­gy sub­sidiary of Lit­ton Indus­tries, a major defense con­trac­tor. The Nation­al Can­cer Insti­tute’s Viral Can­cer Research Project was at the epi­cen­ter of U.S. research into AIDS. We strong­ly sus­pect that this was a reca­pit­u­la­tion of the Third Reich’s use of “can­cer research.”

Just as “Aryans” pos­sess a hered­i­tary immu­ni­ty to HIV infec­tion, peo­ple of African descent have a hered­i­tary sus­cep­ti­bil­i­ty to HIV infec­tion.

Just as Project Paper­clip fig­ures into analy­sis of the devel­op­ment of AIDS, devel­op­ment of aspects of the so-called New Age also track back to the impor­ta­tion of Nazi mil­i­tary sci­en­tists. Of par­tic­u­lar inter­est in that regard are racist/eugenicist New Age philoso­phies that attribute the ori­gins of human­i­ty to “space aliens” with “Aryan” features–blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin.

Fore­most among those New Age cults is “The Nine”–overlapping a sur­pris­ing­ly large aspect of the New Age. Pur­port­ing to be, var­i­ous­ly, the prog­en­i­tors of the human race (from out­er space, of course) and the gods of Egypt, “The Nine” fea­ture the blonde hair, blue eyes, etc. that are com­mon to many of the “ET” ori­gins of human­i­ty.

Over­lap­ping these “Aryan” extrater­res­tri­al New Age philoso­phies are relat­ed out­looks main­tain­ing that black peo­ple are infe­ri­or and do not orig­i­nate from “out­er space.”

Per­haps the best known Nazi sci­en­tist brought to the U.S. under Paper­clip is Wern­er Von Braun, an SS offi­cer and arguably the most impor­tant sci­en­tist involved with the U.S. space pro­gram. A war crim­i­nal of the first order, Von Braun was also one of the founders of the Insti­tute for Noet­ic Sci­ences, a major epi­cen­ter of New Age “thought.”

His mil­i­tary com­man­der in the Third Reich’s V‑weapons program–General Wal­ter Dorn­berg­er (also a Paper­clip importee)–became the head of Bell Aero­space. (Arthur Young, an devo­tee of “The Nine” was the father in law of Michael Paine, who worked for Dorn­berg­er at Bell. Paine, along with his wife Ruth, was one of Lee Har­vey Oswald’s intel­li­gence babysit­ters.)

Anoth­er key ele­ment of dis­cus­sion and analy­sis is the Bor­mann group’s use of the for­mer mem­ber com­pa­nies of I.G. Far­ben. Bay­er has bought Mon­san­to (the largest and best-known of the “GM” com­pa­nies.) Although anti-trust rules may force the spin-off of some of the parts of Mon­san­to, BASF–another of the I.G. mem­ber com­pa­nies under Bor­mann control–is poised to snap those up.

We also note that Bay­er has acquired Mer­ck­’s phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal busi­ness, giv­ing it a pro­found pres­ence in the phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal and vac­cine busi­ness.

With AIDS hav­ing appar­ent­ly sig­naled the suc­cess­ful devel­op­ment of a genet­i­cal­ly-engi­neered bina­ry pathogen against which pure-bred North­ern Euro­peans har­bor a genet­ic immu­ni­ty, we won­der if we will be see­ing the intro­duc­tion of such pathogens into foods and/or vac­cines and/or medecines?

Will this, in turn, be dove­tailed with the ascent of New Age reli­gions that extoll white people/Aryans?

As non-whites suc­cumb to dis­ease intro­duced through the food sup­ply and/or medecines, will this New Age/Nazi cultism increase and achieve glob­al dom­i­nance?

Again, this pro­gram is intend­ed to be used in con­junc­tion with L‑1 and L‑2.

Pro­gram High­lights Include:

• Allied inter­est in Franz Liesau Zac­cha­rias, who obtained mon­keys for use in Nazi med­ical exper­i­ments for I.G. Far­ben.
• The fact that the Third Reich began exper­i­ment­ing on mon­keys, and then began exper­i­ment­ing on humans.
• The fact that the eti­ol­o­gy of AIDS mir­rors the pro­gres­sion of Third Reich med­ical experiments–progressing from apes to humans.
• Rumi­na­tion about sim­i­lar­i­ties between SIV and HIV‑2: accord­ing to a knowl­edge­able source, SIV (native to the African Green Mon­key) is iden­ti­cal to HIV‑2, except for a piece of genet­ic mate­r­i­al that func­tions like a peri­od in a sen­tence. It sig­nals genes to stop read­ing one sequence of amino acids and begin read­ing anoth­er. The source opined that this appeared to be a gene-engi­neer­ing man­i­fes­ta­tion.
• Spec­u­la­tion about the “Black Death” actu­al­ly being a viral-borne, infec­tious hem­or­rhag­ic fever, encoun­tered by Ger­man and Japan­ese armies dur­ing World War II. Was this researched by Unit 731, the Japan­ese bio­log­i­cal war­fare research unit whose results were incor­po­rat­ed into the U.S. bio­log­i­cal war­fare pro­gram after World War II?
• Rumi­na­tion about the pos­si­bil­i­ty that Zac­cha­ri­as’s apes had con­tract­ed simi­an AIDS from SIV infec­tion and the relat­ed hypo­thet­i­cal pos­si­bil­i­ty that this led to the dis­cov­ery of an immune-destroy­ing infec­tious agent that affect­ed apes. Might this have been why the Allies were so inter­est­ed in Zac­cha­rias? Sure­ly, they did­n’t need some­one to teach them how to get apes from Africa. By the same token, exper­i­ment­ing on pri­mates is not a war crime. So WHY were the Allies so inter­est­ed in Zac­cha­rias?
• Dis­cus­sion of the Uran­tia text, with its New Age devo­tees man­i­fest­ing a racist eugen­ics phi­los­o­phy masked by an “extrater­res­tri­al” facade.

. . .The War Crimes Office had con­sid­er­able infor­ma­tion about Dr. Kurt Blome. He was deputy sur­geon gen­er­al of the Third Reich and vice pres­i­dent of the Reich’s Physi­cians’ League, Reich­sarztekam­mer. He was  believed to have report­ed direct­ly to Gor­ing and maybe even to Himm­ler, or to both. Blome had been named head of Reich can­cer research in 1942. Alsos and OSS pre­sumed that this was a cov­er name for bio­log­i­cal weapons work. Blome was a ded­i­cat­ed and proud Nazi. . . .

But, giv­en his for­mer posi­tion in Hitler’s inner cir­cle, cou­pled with the fact that Blome had worn the Gold­en Par­ty Badge, bring­ing him to Amer­i­ca as part of Oper­a­tion Paper­clip remained too dif­fi­cult for the U.S. Army to jus­ti­fy. But as the Cold War gained momen­tum and intense sus­pi­cion of the Sovi­ets increased, even some­one like Kurt Blome would even­tu­al­ly be deemed eli­gi­ble for Oper­a­tion Paper­clip. . . .

. . . . With­in two years of his arrival in the Unit­ed States, Dorn­berg­er had trans­formed from pub­lic men­ace to Amer­i­can celebri­ty. In 1950, he left mil­i­tary cus­tody at Wright-Pat­ter­son Air Force Base to work for Bell Air­craft Cor­po­ra­tion in Nea­gara Falls, New York, quick­ly becom­ing vice pres­i­dent and chief sci­en­tist. . . .

8. Next the pro­gram excerpts FTR #606. We sum­ma­rize the pro­gram (and infor­ma­tion entered into the descrip­tion after the ini­tial record­ing:

Intro­duc­tion: For more than two decades, Mr. Emory has pre­sent­ed pro­grams indi­cat­ing that AIDS is a man-made dis­ease. Sup­ple­ment­ing that body of work, this pro­gram sets forth cir­cum­stan­tial evi­dence indi­cat­ing that AIDS may have been cre­at­ed on a foun­da­tion of research done by the Nazis in con­cen­tra­tion camps dur­ing the Sec­ond World War. Under a pro­gram named Project Paper­clip, Nazi scientists—many of them war criminals—were recruit­ed to do research for the U.S. nation­al secu­ri­ty estab­lish­ment.

Among the war crim­i­nals so recruit­ed was Erich Traub, who was one of the prin­ci­pals in charge of bac­te­ri­o­log­i­cal and viro­log­i­cal war­fare for the Third Reich. After test­ing dead­ly dis­eases and tox­ins on apes pro­cured from Africa, the Nazis pro­gressed to test­ing lethal ill­ness­es on con­cen­tra­tion camp inmates. Note that HIV is an African simi­an virus, mutat­ed in such a way as to infect and kill humans.

Among the Nazi oper­a­tives sought by the U.S. after the war was Franz Liesau Zacharias, who pro­cured the apes in Africa for use in devel­op­ing dis­eases to be test­ed on con­cen­tra­tion camp inmates—among the dis­eases test­ed in the camps was the plague. Recent med­ical research indi­cates the exis­tence of a genet­ic trait that affords immu­ni­ty to both AIDS and the infec­tions that have come to be known as “plague.”

This gene—the CCR5 delta-32 muta­tion—is only car­ried by the white race and [accord­ing to some sources] only by peo­ple of North­ern Euro­pean extrac­tion. Did the Nazis note [in their exper­i­ments] that some peo­ple appeared to be immune to infec­tion with plague? Were tis­sue sam­ples tak­en and pre­served for fur­ther study? Was this in any way con­nect­ed to the even­tu­al evo­lu­tion of the CCR5-delta 32 gene as a hered­i­tary pro­tec­tion against infec­tion by HIV?

In June of 2009, it emerged that CCR5 delta-32 was used in trans­plant ther­a­py admin­is­tered by a Ger­man doc­tor to an HIV-pos­i­tive leukemia patient. It appears that the patient was cured of HIV! The Ger­man doc­tor delib­er­ate­ly select­ed a CCR5 delta-32 pos­i­tive donor for the stem cells used for the trans­plant.

Is it pos­si­ble that Liesau Zacharias was actu­al­ly tar­get­ed for recruit­ment by the U.S. for Project Paper­clip, like Erich Traub? This pro­gram explores that pos­si­bil­i­ty.

In the con­text of the “eth­no-spe­cif­ic” nature of HIV, this descrip­tion also con­tains infor­ma­tion from late 2008 about a height­ened phys­i­cal sus­cep­ti­bil­i­ty of the African race to HIV infec­tion. Tak­en in con­junc­tion with the CCR5 delta-32 muta­tion that affords “Aryans” immu­ni­ty to infec­tion by HIV, this is as reveal­ing as it is fright­en­ing.

Pro­gram High­lights Include: Zacharias’ found­ing of a com­pa­ny in Spain in 1944; Zacharias’ company’s long­stand­ing rela­tion­ship with the secu­ri­ty ser­vices of fas­cist dic­ta­tor Fran­cis­co Fran­co; the pro­found rela­tion­ship between the Under­ground Reich and the Span­ish intel­li­gence ser­vices; review of tes­ti­mo­ny before a House sub­com­mit­tee in 1969 that direct­ly fore­shad­owed the appear­ance of AIDS; review of the back­ground of Dr. Wolf Szmuness—the cre­ator of the exper­i­men­tal hepati­tis B vac­cine that appears to have been a major vec­tor for delib­er­ate­ly infect­ing peo­ple with AIDS; Szmuness’ long­stand­ing friend­ship with Pope John Paul II; the South African back­ground of Rod­er­ick Mur­ray—a key offi­cial with the Nation­al Insti­tutes of Health; review of the Nazi her­itage of the apartheid regime of South Africa; this descrip­tion con­tains a con­sum­mate­ly impor­tant review of the use of can­cer research pro­grams as cov­er for bio­log­i­cal war­fare both in Nazi Ger­many and in the Unit­ed States; indi­ca­tions that what was known as bubon­ic plague may well have been a vari­ety of hem­or­rhag­ic fever, per­haps native to a Mid­dle East­ern of African prin­ci­pal­i­ty.

9. Before review­ing infor­ma­tion from FTR #686, we under­score sev­er­al points rel­e­vant to the intense inter­est on the part of the West­ern Allies into Zacarias.

Might wider pub­lic­i­ty have called undue atten­tion to this curi­ous fea­ture of the AIDS epidemic–that “Aryans” have an immu­ni­ty to this dis­ease?

Anoth­er point of inter­est will be to see if some of the suc­ces­sor firms to the old I.G. Far­ben car­tel wind up mar­ket­ing this AIDS ther­a­py, pred­i­cat­ed on the use of stem cells from CCR5 delta-32 donors. As dis­cussed in Mar­tin Bor­mann: Nazi in Exile, the I.G. and its suc­ces­sor com­pa­nies are inex­tri­ca­bly linked with the Under­ground Reich. “Local Physician:HIV/AIDS Cure Get­ting Lit­tle Pub­lic­i­ty” by Bob Mor­gan; baldwincountynow.com; 5/27/2009

A Foley [Alaba­ma] physi­cian said what appears to be the first case of HIV/AIDS cure in the world is get­ting lit­tle men­tion in the media.

Dr. Awad­hesh K. Gup­ta, med­ical direc­tor at Foley Walk-In Med Care, said he first heard of the med­ical break­through in April when he attend­ed the Annu­al Con­fer­ence of the Amer­i­can Col­lege of Physi­cians in Inter­nal Med­i­cine in Philadel­phia.

It’s a con­fer­ence Gup­ta tries to attend every year.

“This is the most pres­ti­gious orga­ni­za­tion of physi­cians in Inter­nal Med­i­cine and is respon­si­ble for cer­ti­fy­ing post grad­u­ate train­ing in Inter­nal Med­i­cine. It is also one of the old­est,” he said.

Accord­ing to Gup­ta, who has been prac­tic­ing med­i­cine in the South Bald­win area since 1997, the cure was first report­ed in ear­ly 2008 by a group of physi­cians from Ger­many at the annu­al con­fer­ence on “Retro­virus­es and Oppor­tunis­tic Infec­tions” in Boston. The New Eng­land Jour­nal of Med­i­cine, one of the most pres­ti­gious med­ical jour­nals in the world, final­ly pub­lished the report in its Feb. 12, 2009, issue, Gup­ta said.

So why has the news of the first case of HIV/AIDS cure received so lit­tle atten­tion where the pub­lic is con­cerned?

“I can’t be sure as to why so lit­tle pub­lic­i­ty,” Gup­ta said recent­ly.

“My guess is that most sci­en­tif­ic researchers are some­what stunned that a clin­i­cian — not a research sci­en­tist — has been able to come up with the cure. Most of the big research mon­ey and big name Amer­i­can insti­tu­tions are some­what embar­rassed to acknowl­edge that the very first case of HIV cure is not com­ing from their insti­tu­tions.”

The cure, instead, is com­ing from Char­i­ty Uni­ver­si­ty Hos­pi­tal in Berlin, Ger­many, and the doc­tor is Gero Huet­ter, who works in the Depart­ment of Hema­tol­ogy, Oncol­o­gy and Trans­fu­sion Med­i­cine at the same hos­pi­tal.

Asked about the reac­tion of atten­dees at the med­ical con­fer­ence in Philadel­phia as regard­ed the news of an HIV/AIDS cure, Gup­ta said, “Unfor­tu­nate­ly, because of the hec­tic sched­ule, I did not try to engage too many physi­cians. How­ev­er, the doc­tor pre­sent­ing this infor­ma­tion seemed extreme­ly excit­ed about it.”

As Gup­ta explains the case and cure in ques­tion, a 40-year-old Amer­i­can work­ing in Berlin had been HIV-pos­i­tive for 10 years. The patient’s HIV infec­tion had been under con­trol for four years with “con­ven­tion­al HAART treat­ment reg­i­men” (High­ly Active Anti-Retro­vi­ral Ther­a­py).

When the patient devel­oped leukemia, how­ev­er, a bone mar­row trans­plant of stem cells was done using stan­dard pro­to­col, which Gup­ta said includes radi­a­tion ther­a­py and chemother­a­py pri­or to the trans­plant.

“Remem­ber, once you stop HIV drugs, the HIV viral count ris­es very rapid­ly, usu­al­ly with­in a few days to a week,” Gup­ta said.

Accord­ing to Gup­ta, Huet­ter, the Ger­man physi­cian treat­ing the Amer­i­can, delib­er­ate­ly chose a stem cell donor who had a gene muta­tion known as “CCR‑5 Delta- 32,” rather than using the best matched donor.

Gup­ta said Huet­ter remem­bered research first observed in 1996 — research Gup­ta said is well known in the sci­en­tif­ic com­mu­ni­ty. That research found that cer­tain gay men in the San Fran­cis­co area remained unin­fect­ed with HIV in spite of engag­ing in risky sex­u­al activ­i­ties. As it was lat­er dis­cov­ered, those men had the CCR‑5 Delta-32 gene muta­tion.

As it turned out, the patient’s stem cell trans­plant was a suc­cess, Gup­ta said, even though the patient had to have a sec­ond stem cell trans­plant (from the same donor) when his leukemia relapsed.

“This patient has been off all his HIV drugs for two years now,” Gup­ta said. “He con­tin­ues to show no detectable signs of HIV in all the known places HIV is detect­ed — no signs of HIV in his blood, bone mar­row, lymph nodes, intestines or brain.” Also, the patient’s T‑cell count remains nor­mal.

Thus, accord­ing to Gup­ta, with­in the lim­its of sci­en­tists’ abil­i­ty to detect HIV, it appears this patient’s HIV has been “erad­i­cat­ed.”. . .

9b. Turn­ing to a pri­ma­ry area of the­o­ret­i­cal inquiry, the pro­gram notes that the Nazis began research­ing tox­ic agents on apes and then moved on to humans—inmates in con­cen­tra­tion camps. AIDS results from a mon­key virus that even­tu­al­ly jumped to humans as well. Does the pro­gres­sion in the Nazi death camps of test­ing on apes to test­ing on humans have any rela­tion­ship with the pro­gres­sion of a simi­an virus to infec­tion of humans? Might the cre­ation of AIDS have stemmed from Nazi research? Is it an acci­dent that the hered­i­tary immu­ni­ty from HIV infec­tion is only present in the white race, and [accord­ing to some sources] North­ern Euro­peans in par­tic­u­lar? Is it an acci­dent that peo­ple of African extrac­tion are par­tic­u­lar­ly sus­cep­ti­ble to HIV infec­tion?

“Guinea pigs and white rats, ani­mals tra­di­tion­al­ly used for test­ing pur­pos­es, were deemed inad­e­quate for mea­sur­ing the effect of the nerve gas­es on humans. Ear­ly in the war, it was decid­ed to sub­sti­tute apes, whose bio­log­i­cal reac­tions to such gas­es were believed to be more like those of human beings. 9c. Next, the pro­gram reviews (from FTR #642) infor­ma­tion about a hered­i­tary sus­cep­ti­bil­i­ty to HIV infec­tion among peo­ple of African extrac­tion. A gene that affords peo­ple of African extrac­tion a mea­sure of pro­tec­tion against malar­ia infec­tion ren­ders them par­tic­u­lar­ly vul­ner­a­ble to HIV.

“New­found Genet­ic Clue to HIV Rate Among Blacks” by Sabin Rus­sell; San Fran­cis­co Chron­i­cle; 7/17/08; p. A1.

An inter­na­tion­al team of AIDS sci­en­tists has dis­cov­ered that a gene vari­ant com­mon in blacks pro­tects against cer­tain types of malar­ia but increas­es sus­cep­ti­bil­i­ty to HIV infec­tion by 40 per­cent.

Researchers, keen to find some bio­log­i­cal clues to explain why peo­ple of African descent are bear­ing a dis­pro­por­tion­ate share of the world’s AIDS cas­es, sus­pect this sub­tle genet­ic trait — found in 60 per­cent of Amer­i­can blacks and 90 per­cent of Africans — might part­ly explain the dif­fer­ence.

Ten per­cent of the world’s pop­u­la­tion lives in sub-Saha­ran Africa, but that region accounts for 70 per­cent of the men, women and chil­dren liv­ing with HIV infec­tion. In the Unit­ed States, African Amer­i­cans make up 12 per­cent of the pop­u­la­tion but account for half of new­ly diag­nosed HIV infec­tions. . . .

10. After tack­ling the spec­u­la­tive sub­ject of why Zacharias was a focal point of research, we review FTR #686, not­ing the struc­tur­al sim­i­lar­i­ty between the Third Reich’s bio­log­i­cal war­fare program–disguised as a can­cer research program–and the Nation­al Can­cer Insti­tute’s Spe­cial Viral Can­cer Research project:

Intro­duc­tion: The pro­gram begins with a sum­ma­ry intro­duc­tion of the pri­ma­ry sub­ject. After the [offi­cial] aban­don­ment by the U.S. of offen­sive bio­log­i­cal war­fare research, the Nixon admin­is­tra­tion declared a “war on can­cer” in 1971. As part of the War on Can­cer Nixon turned Fort Det­rick (the Army’s top BW research cen­ter) over to the Nation­al Can­cer Insti­tute for its Viral Can­cer Project. The Viral Can­cer Project was inex­tri­ca­bly linked with bio­log­i­cal war­fare research and may well have served as a cov­er for ongo­ing BW work. (Lis­ten­ers inter­est­ed in this mate­r­i­al are encour­aged to check out, among oth­er pro­grams, FTR #‘s 606, 682.)

For the pur­pos­es of the present dis­cus­sion, it is worth not­ing that it was the Nation­al Can­cer Insti­tute’s VCP that was at the epi­cen­ter of AIDS research in the Unit­ed States.

The VCP/NCI bio­log­i­cal war­fare con­nec­tion uti­lized strong con­nec­tions to uni­ver­si­ty research facil­i­ties. The Naval Bio­sciences Lab­o­ra­to­ry (man­aged by the Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia), as well as Fort Det­rick were pro­found­ly involved with the NCI’s VCP. The Cell Cul­ture Lab­o­ra­to­ry at the Naval Bio­sciences Facil­i­ty pro­vid­ed the seed stock for the pro­duc­tion of vast quan­ti­ties of car­cino­genic and immuno­sup­pres­sive virus­es that were gen­er­at­ed by the Nation­al Can­cer Insti­tute.

The pro­duc­tion of those virus­es for the NCI was over­seen by Drs. James Duff and Jack Gru­ber, both long­time vet­er­ans of Fort Det­rick and its bio­log­i­cal war­fare research.

The aer­i­al trans­mis­sion of dead­ly path­o­gen­ic agents was a major focal point of the NCI’s VCP, appar­ent­ly over­lap­ping BW research projects. Two oth­er key researchers for the NCI, Drs. Alfred Hell­man and Mark Chatigny also had bio­log­i­cal war­fare research back­grounds, includ­ing work with aer­i­al trans­mis­sion of path­o­gen­ic agents.

Yet anoth­er com­po­nent of the NCI/VCP/BW con­nec­tion was the incor­po­ra­tion of phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal com­pa­nies in the research pro­grams. The Pfiz­er com­pa­ny pro­duced virus­es for the NCI’s VCP, includ­ing the immuno­sup­pres­sive Mason-Pfiz­er mon­key virus, like HIV, a retro­virus.

Among the most sig­nif­i­cant and alarm­ing aspects of the NCI’s VCP pro­gram is the fact that, when Fort Det­rick was con­vert­ed to the Fred­er­ick Can­cer Research Cen­ter, it was admin­is­tered by Lit­ton Bio­net­ics, a biotech­nol­o­gy subi­sidiary of Lit­ton Indus­tries. Lit­ton was a major defense con­trac­tor and a fre­quent vehi­cle for covert oper­a­tions.

Pri­or to assum­ing stew­ard­ship of Fort Det­rick for the NCI, Lit­ton Bio­net­ics had employed Dr. Robert Gal­lo (the “dis­cov­er­er” of HIV).

Of para­mount impor­tance in this inves­ti­ga­tion is the fact that the NCI’s VCP pro­gram involved numer­ous exper­i­ments and oper­a­tions designed at get­ting organ­isms to “jump species.” Promi­nent researchers famil­iar with these efforts expressed alarm and the con­vic­tion that such work should be out­lawed, lest it lead to the cre­ation of new, dead­ly organ­isms that would infect humans.

Obvi­ous­ly, this broad­cast and the line of inquiry approached in Mr. Emory’s decades-long inves­ti­ga­tion of AIDS as a man-made dis­ease high­light the possibility/probability/near cer­tain­ty that HIV is just such an organ­ism.

Pro­gram High­lights Include: Lit­ton Bio­net­ics’ work on the Mason-Pfiz­er mon­key virus while under con­tract to the NCI and when it employed Dr. Robert Gal­lo; research empha­sis on “zoonoses” (dis­eases that jump from ani­mals to humans) by the joint military/civilian con­sor­tium; Gal­lo’s work with NCI VCP/Ft. Det­rick vet­er­an Dr. Jack Gru­ber in a mass viral inoc­u­la­tion pro­gram under­tak­en by Lit­ton Bio­net­ics; the use of the Mason-Pfiz­er mon­key virus in the Lit­ton Bio­net­ics mass inoc­u­la­tion pro­gram.

11a. Fol­low­ing the re-broad­cast of FTR #686, we delve into more points of inquiry, deal­ing with SIV. These points of dis­cus­sion, also, relate to Franz Liesau Zacharias.

On the sub­ject of SIV (Simi­an Immuno-Defi­cien­cy Virus), the broad­cast notes its dis­cov­ery fol­low­ing an out­break in pri­mate lab­o­ra­to­ries in the Unit­ed States. Spread­ing to pri­mate species with no expo­sure to, or anti­bod­ies to, the virus, SIV cre­at­ed an out­break of dis­ease among mon­keys in the lab­o­ra­to­ry.

A knowl­edge­able source (who, in the words of the bard, spoke on the con­di­tion of anonymi­ty) alleges that SIV is a virus native to the green mon­key, used as a pro­tein source by res­i­dents of South­ern Africa. The source alleged that HIV‑2 is iden­ti­cal to SIV, except for a piece of genet­ic mate­r­i­al that func­tions some­what like a peri­od. That piece of mate­r­i­al is locat­ed in the mid­dle of a gene, some­thing that the source said was high­ly unusu­al.

Might Zacharias have dis­cov­ered SIV, when the apes he was col­lect­ing came down with simi­an AIDS? Recall that Zacharias was col­lect­ing the pri­mates for I.G. Far­ben’s research into chem­i­cal and bio­log­i­cal research.

Was the pos­si­ble dis­cov­ery of a com­mu­ni­ca­ble immune-col­laps­ing infec­tive agent in pri­mates have been the rea­son that the West­ern Allies were so inter­est­ed in Zacharias?

“Twen­ty Years of Mon­key Research boosts AIDS Knowl­edge”; Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia News­room; 8/27/2002.

Research on an AIDS-like dis­ease in mon­keys con­tin­ues to help sci­en­tists under­stand prob­lems such as how HIV caus­es AIDS, how the virus “hides” from the immune sys­tem and how the dis­ease might be pre­vent­ed or treat­ed, two decades after the human and mon­key dis­eases were iden­ti­fied.

“These ani­mals have been indis­pens­able for under­stand­ing how the virus works and in work­ing toward vac­cines,” said Mur­ray Gard­ner, pro­fes­sor emer­i­tus of med­ical pathol­o­gy at the UC Davis Cen­ter for Com­par­a­tive Med­i­cine.

About 300 researchers from around the world will reflect on those past achieve­ments and dis­cuss new data when they gath­er Sept. 8–11 in Mon­terey, Calif., for the 20th Annu­al Sym­po­sium on Non­hu­man Pri­mate Mod­els for AIDS. The Cal­i­for­nia Nation­al Pri­mate Research Cen­ter (CNPRC) at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia, Davis, is host­ing the con­fer­ence.

More than 20 years ago, sci­en­tists at the UC Davis pri­mate cen­ter were con­front­ed with a mys­te­ri­ous and dead­ly out­break of infec­tions in their mon­keys. Show­ing signs of weak­ened immune sys­tems, the mon­keys were suc­cumb­ing to a vari­ety of infec­tions that nor­mal­ly did not cause dis­ease.

At about the same time, a dead­ly new dis­ease known as AIDS was mak­ing the head­lines. Bear­ing a strik­ing resem­blance to the mon­key syn­drome, the human dis­ease also led to oppor­tunis­tic infec­tions, wast­ing and death.

Sci­en­tists would lat­er dis­cov­er that the mon­key dis­ease, called simi­an AIDS, was caused by the simi­an immun­od­e­fi­cien­cy virus (SIV), a close rel­a­tive of the human immun­od­e­fi­cien­cy virus (HIV) that caus­es human AIDS.

The strik­ing sim­i­lar­i­ties between the human and simi­an dis­or­ders and the virus­es that cause them enabled sci­en­tists to gain oth­er­wise unob­tain­able insights into the ori­gins and pro­gres­sion of human AIDS — work that con­tin­ues today.

Today, sci­en­tists at the UC Davis cen­ter are using the SIV mon­key mod­el of AIDS to study ways to vac­ci­nate against HIV trans­mis­sion from adult to adult and from moth­er to off­spring. They are also tack­ling the prob­lem of elim­i­nat­ing latent virus — virus that is inac­tive and “hid­ing” inside cells in the body — in indi­vid­u­als tak­ing med­ica­tions to fight the virus. Final­ly, they are test­ing the abil­i­ty of micro­bi­cides to pre­vent sex­u­al trans­mis­sion of SIV/HIV.

“The mon­key dis­ease is a remark­ably accu­rate fac­sim­i­le of the human dis­ease,” said Gard­ner.

An author­i­ty on retro­virus­es and the inter­sec­tion of the simi­an and human immun­od­e­fi­cien­cy virus­es, Gard­ner will give the keynote address at the con­fer­ence, high­light­ing impor­tant con­tri­bu­tions of non­hu­man pri­mate research to knowl­edge of AIDS.

Accord­ing to Gard­ner, some of the key achieve­ments made by researchers study­ing immun­od­e­fi­cien­cy virus­es in mon­keys include: gain­ing an in-depth knowl­edge of the nat­ur­al his­to­ry of both the human and simi­an AIDS virus­es, includ­ing the poten­tial for and mech­a­nisms of cross-species trans­mis­sion; demon­strat­ing the fea­si­bil­i­ty of an AIDS vac­cine by show­ing that mon­keys became resis­tant to simi­an AIDS when inject­ed with weak­ened ver­sions of the virus; demon­strat­ing that SIV alone, rather than envi­ron­men­tal or oth­er fac­tors, caus­es simi­an AIDS; defin­ing the mech­a­nisms of HIV/SIV trans­mis­sion between hosts; and iden­ti­fy­ing the role of anti­bod­ies and cel­lu­lar immu­ni­ty, espe­cial­ly CD8 cells — a spe­cif­ic immune sys­tem com­po­nent — in fight­ing the virus.

The sym­po­sium traces its ori­gins to 1983, when about 30 researchers from the then sev­en U.S. pri­mate research cen­ters met at Tulane Uni­ver­si­ty to dis­cuss what was then a poor­ly under­stood, spon­ta­neous­ly occur­ring immun­od­e­fi­cien­cy syn­drome of macaque mon­keys. The mon­key dis­ease had many strong sim­i­lar­i­ties to AIDS, which was first described in 1981. HIV was first iden­ti­fied in 1983 and SIV in 1985. . . .

11b. Not­ing a recent report attempt­ing to link AIDS in humans with SIV in chim­panzees, the pro­gram reviews infor­ma­tion dis­cussed with Ed Haslam about the premise for this “dis­cov­ery.” Detailed analy­sis of Ed Haslam’s debunk­ing of the chim­panzee the­o­ry can be accessed in FTR #269. Dr. Beat­rice Hahn had pre­vi­ous­ly report­ed the dis­cov­ery of HIV present in chim­panzees. Ed notes that the chimps she had been test­ing had been delib­er­ate­ly infect­ed with the virus in an Air Force lab­o­ra­to­ry in New Mex­i­co, at which chimps were kept in “nat­ur­al” con­di­tions. These “nat­ur­al” con­di­tions for chim­panzee colonies entails the alpha male of the colony hav­ing sex with all of the females, there­by spread­ing any sex­u­al­ly trans­mit­ted virus­es!

“Chim­panzees Infect­ed With SIV Do Devel­op and Die from AIDS, Con­trary to Pre­vail­ing View”; Sci­ence Dai­ly; 7/23/2009.

Although the AIDS virus (HIV‑1) entered the human pop­u­la­tion through chim­panzees, sci­en­tists have long believed that chim­panzees don’t devel­op AIDS. But a new study from an inter­na­tion­al team, includ­ing Uni­ver­si­ty of Min­neso­ta pro­fes­sors Anne Pusey and Michael Wil­son, shows that chim­panzees infect­ed with SIV (simi­an immun­od­e­fi­cien­cy virus), the pre­cur­sor to HIV‑1, do con­tract and die from AIDS. The dis­cov­ery is pub­lished in the July 23 issue of Nature.

The authors report that infect­ed chim­panzees in their study group were 10–16 times more like­ly to die than those who were unin­fect­ed. The team also found that infect­ed females were less like­ly to give birth and infants born to infect­ed moth­ers were unlike­ly to sur­vive. The virus, they learned, was trans­mit­ted sex­u­al­ly and through moth­er’s milk. Over the nine-year study peri­od, 10–20 per­cent of the 94 chim­panzees were infect­ed at any one time.

The find­ing opens up new oppor­tu­ni­ties for research.

“We hope this will lead to a bet­ter under­stand­ing of the virus that will ben­e­fit both humans and chim­panzees,” said Jane Goodall, whose focus has shift­ed in recent years from research to con­ser­va­tion of chim­panzees and their habi­tats.

The study focused on chim­panzees at Gombe Nation­al Park, Tan­za­nia, where Goodall and her col­leagues have stud­ied chim­panzees for near­ly 50 years. Researchers used data that Pusey, a long-time asso­ciate of Goodal­l’s, archived at the Jane Goodall Insti­tute’s Cen­ter for Pri­mate Stud­ies at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Min­neso­ta, to under­stand how SIV is trans­mit­ted among chim­panzees, and how the virus affects chim­panzee sur­vival and repro­duc­tion.

Virol­o­gist Beat­rice Hahn at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Alaba­ma led the Nature study, which involved Pusey and her col­leagues. Bran­don Keele and Rebec­ca Rudi­cell in Hah­n’s lab used tech­niques they devel­oped to detect SIV in chim­panzee fecal sam­ples. Sam­ples were col­lect­ed by research staff at Gombe and shipped to Alaba­ma for analy­sis.

Exam­i­na­tion of tis­sue sam­ples from dead chim­panzees revealed a loss of CD4+ T cells (which are vital to immu­ni­ty) in SIV-infect­ed chim­panzees. Loss of these cells ren­ders vic­tims sus­cep­ti­ble to many oth­er infec­tions – the clas­sic indi­ca­tion of AIDS. Wil­son orga­nized a team of Tan­zan­ian and Amer­i­can spe­cial­ists to con­duct the first post-mortem exam of a chim­panzee that died from AIDS.

“From a sci­en­tif­ic per­spec­tive, it is fas­ci­nat­ing to learn that the virus affects chim­panzees in sim­i­lar ways to humans,” Wil­son said. “But it is dif­fi­cult know­ing that there isn’t much we can do to help those whose lives may be short­ened by the virus.” Wil­son is a McK­night Land-Grant Pro­fes­sor with a joint appoint­ment in Anthro­pol­o­gy and Ecol­o­gy, Evo­lu­tion and Behav­ior.

“It isn’t prac­ti­cal to treat the chim­panzees for SIV infec­tions, but it appears that SIV in chim­panzees is not quite as path­o­gen­ic as HIV‑1 in humans,” said Pusey, who is a Dis­tin­guished McK­night Uni­ver­si­ty Pro­fes­sor in the Col­lege of Bio­log­i­cal Sci­ences Depart­ment of Ecol­o­gy, Evo­lu­tion and Behav­ior. “So far, the main study com­mu­ni­ty has main­tained its size despite mor­tal­i­ty from dis­eases.”

Includ­ing Pusey and Wil­son, six of the co-authors are asso­ci­at­ed with the Uni­ver­si­ty of Min­neso­ta. Doc­tor­al can­di­date Emi­ly Wrob­lews­ki sequenced DNA from fecal sam­ples. 11c. The pro­gram next presents review of Ed Haslsm’s mus­ing con­cern­ing SIV and the con­t­a­m­i­na­tion of the polio vac­cine with simi­an virus­es. Ed the­o­rizes that AIDS may have stemmed from the irra­di­a­tion of virus­es under the janus-faced can­cer research/biological war­fare project dis­cussed in Dr. Mary’s Mon­key: Did that irra­di­a­tion pro­duce a mutat­ed SIV which could infect humans and which result­ed in the AIDS epi­dem­ic?

 . . . SIV is the Simi­an Immun­od­e­fi­cien­cy Virus, one of sev­er­al mon­key Virus­es known to have con­t­a­m­i­nat­ed the polio vac­cine. The more car­cino­genic SV-40 has received most of the press. SIV, a sin­gle-strand RNA retro­virus, is con­sid­er­ably small­er than SV-40 (a dou­ble-strand DNA virus). The tech­nol­o­gy of the 1950’s was not able to fil­ter SIV from the viral extracts. Fur­ther, researchers of the day did not con­sid­er retro­virus­es to be dan­ger­ous, so they basi­cal­ly ignored them. AIDS has taught us how dan­ger­ous retro­virus­es can be. If ‘the project’ in New Orleans was inten­tion­al­ly expos­ing SV-40 to radi­a­tion they have exposed SIV to radi­a­tion at the same time. Sim­ply stat­ed, HIV‑1 is a mutat­ed form of SIV. Did the muta­tion which changed SIV into HIV‑1 occur when SV-40 was exposed to radi­a­tion? Was this the moment of con­cep­tion of AIDS? Could this arti­fi­cial­ly-induced muta­tion explain why HIV‑1 is mutat­ing so rapid­ly? Why it is behav­ing so ‘unnat­u­ral­ly’? . . . .

12a. Clar­i­fy­ing and refin­ing the dis­cus­sion about CCR5-delta 32, this descrip­tion presents an arti­cle sto­ry claims that 10%–not 20%–of North­ern Euro­peans car­ry that gene. The arti­cle also asserts that what has become known as “the plague” that rav­aged Europe cen­turies ago was actu­al­ly a series of epi­demics of a viral hem­or­rhag­ic fever, not the “Bubon­ic Plague.”

Accord­ing to the authors, the the­o­ry that the “plagues” were actu­al­ly Bubon­ic Plague gained accep­tance around 1900. Pri­or to that, the hem­or­rhag­ic fever the­o­ry was pre­dom­i­nant.

. . . . Sci­en­tists have known for some time that these indi­vid­u­als car­ry a genet­ic muta­tion (known as CCR5-delta 32) that pre­vents the virus from enter­ing the cells of the immune sys­tem but have been unable to account for the high lev­els of the gene in Scan­di­navia and rel­a­tive­ly low lev­els in areas bor­der­ing the Mediter­ranean. They have also been puz­zled by the fact that HIV emerged only recent­ly and could not have played a role in rais­ing the fre­quen­cy of the muta­tion to the high lev­els found in some Euro­peans today. Pro­fes­sor Christo­pher Dun­can and Dr Susan Scott from the Uni­ver­si­ty’s School of Bio­log­i­cal Sci­ences, whose research is pub­lished in the March edi­tion of Jour­nal of Med­ical Genet­ics, attribute the fre­quen­cy of the CCR5-delta 32 muta­tion to its pro­tec­tion from anoth­er dead­ly viral dis­ease, act­ing over a sus­tained peri­od in bygone his­toric times. Some sci­en­tists have sug­gest­ed this dis­ease could have been small­pox or even bubon­ic plague but bubon­ic plague is a bac­te­r­i­al dis­ease rather than a virus and is not blocked by the CCR5-delta 32 muta­tion. Pro­fes­sor Dun­can com­ment­ed: ‘The fact that the CCR5-delta 32 muta­tion is restrict­ed to Europe sug­gests that the plagues of the Mid­dle Ages played a big part in rais­ing the fre­quen­cy of the muta­tion. These plagues were also con­fined to Europe, per­sist­ed for more than 300 years and had a 100% case mor­tal­i­ty.’ . . . .

. . . . Around 1900, his­to­ri­ans spread the idea that the plagues of Europe were not a direct­ly infec­tious dis­ease but were out­breaks of bubon­ic plague, over­turn­ing an accept­ed belief that had stood for 550 years. Pro­fes­sor Dun­can and Dr Scott illus­trat­ed in their book, Return of the Black Death (2004, Wiley), that this idea was incor­rect and the plagues of Europe (1347–1660) were in fact a con­tin­u­ing series of epi­demics of a lethal, viral, haem­or­rhag­ic fever that used the CCR5 as an entry port into the immune sys­tem. Using com­put­er mod­el­ing, they demon­strat­ed how this dis­ease pro­vid­ed the selec­tion pres­sure that forced up the fre­quen­cy of the muta­tion from 1 in 20,000 at the time of the Black Death to val­ues today of 1 in 10. . . .

12b. An inter­est­ing spec­u­la­tive per­spec­tive on the above arti­cle comes from a com­ment to FTR #606. This writer alleges that the Black Death was indeed a hem­or­rhag­ic fever, and that it was researched as a bio­log­i­cal war­fare weapon. Note that, as dis­cussed in AFA #16, Unit 731, the Japan­ese bio­log­i­cal war­fare pro­gram, was sub­sumed into the U.S. BW pro­gram, and its files ensconced at Fort Diet­rick.

Inter­est­ing the­o­ry on Delta-32. The “plague” the­o­ry of HIV/AIDS has been mod­i­fied since the 1990’s. “the bubon­ic plague” is now most prob­a­bly HFRS, which is a hem­or­rhag­ic dis­ease that has appeared in Rus­sia since the 1890’s and hit Ger­man troops in 1941–1942 in Fin­land. The Nazis were brought to Paper­clip at the same time as the Japan­ese because they saw the dis­ease in the 1930’s in Manchuria. Swe­den saw it in 1934 and they have the high­est rate of Delta-32 at 18%, with N. Ger­many and N. Rus­sia. The for­mer Sovi­et Union test­ed it as a bio­log­i­cal weapon in the 1970’s cod­ed as dis­ease No. 10. Actu­al­ly the only two places that have the orig­i­nal recom­bi­nant strains of HIV/AIDS, clade A/B are Liberia in Africa and Kalin­ingrad in the for­mer Sovi­et Union. The pre­cur­sor gly­co­pro­teins of of SIV, Ebo­la, and Crimean-Con­go are gp 160 and 140. . . .

13. Widen­ing the focus of inquiry to UFO’s and occultism, the broad­cast fea­tures a long excerpt from FTR #874 (which, in turn, incor­po­rates sig­nif­i­cant ele­ments of New Age phi­los­o­phy.

Intro­duc­tion: The gulf between Nazism and the so-called New Age might seem to be so wide as to be unbridge­able. Sad­ly, that is not the case. At the core of Nazi belief was occultism, draw­ing on Pan-Ger­man­ic mythol­o­gy deriv­ing from the Thule Soci­ety, arios­o­phy, ele­ments of Hin­du reli­gious doc­trine and more com­mon­ly rec­og­niz­able belief sys­tems such as astrol­o­gy.

As a result, New Age sects and reli­gion have fre­quent­ly dove­tailed with ele­ments of Nazi and fas­cist phi­los­o­phy. (For more about the Nazi/fascist/New Age con­nec­tion, see–among oth­er pro­grams–FTR #‘s 170, 172, 221 as well as L‑2. The inti­mate rela­tion­ship between ele­ments of the intel­li­gence com­mu­ni­ty, mind con­trol, cults and fas­cism are dis­cussed in–among oth­er pro­grams–AFA #7, Mis­cel­la­neous Archive Show M7, and FTR #291. The recent under­ground film “Thrive” is very much worth exam­in­ing in this regard.)

In FTR #873, we exam­ined how the Atlantis myth has fed direct­ly into Nazi occultism and “poly­ge­n­e­sis,” a key fea­ture of sci­en­tif­ic racism.

Next, we turn to exam­i­na­tion of a major con­stel­la­tion in the New Age firmament–the Insti­tute of Noet­ic Sci­ences. Based in Petaluma, Cal­i­for­nia, the insti­tute was co-found­ed by SS offi­cer, Third Reich and NASA rock­et sci­en­tist and Project Paper­clip import Wern­er von Braun.Next, we turn to yet anoth­er Third Reich alum­nus who worked for NASA.

As the envi­ron­ment and the econ­o­my con­tin­ue to suf­fer and deteriorate–and the human con­di­tion along with them–it may prove enlight­en­ing and very use­ful to weigh the impli­ca­tions of those who advo­cate belief in Space Aliens. One of them is Josef F. Blum­rich.

Blum­rich appar­ent­ly worked for the Messer­schmitt firm, much of that time work­ing on the ME-110 fight­er. Ulti­mate­ly, he became an allied POW and went to work for NASA, the ulti­mate home of many of the Third Reich’s rock­et per­son­nel.

Could this be part of an attempt at prepar­ing us for our “Nazi/Aryan/Brothers from Space/Angels from God”?

The sec­ond half of the pro­gram con­sists of a re-broad­c­st of FTR #170, deal­ing with “The Nine” and oth­er aspects of poly­ge­n­e­sis racial the­o­ry and “eso­teric Nazism.”

14. Anoth­er New Age philo­soph­i­cal ele­ment rem­i­nis­cent of The views of The Nine is the racist, qua­si-Naz­i/eu­genic phi­los­o­phy of Swa­mi Prabu­pa­da, the founder of the Hare Krish­na cult.

The views of “Swa­mi Prab­hu­pa­da” are set forth, illus­trat­ing their con­ver­gence with Nazi phi­los­o­phy. In FTR #172, we exam­ined how aspects of Hin­du phi­los­o­phy and cul­ture were seen as dove­tail­ing with Hit­ler­ian fas­cism.

Those views are on dis­play at length and in detail in the arti­cle below.

“Swa­mi Prab­hu­pa­da: Founder Of Hare Krish­na Move­ment, And A Vir­u­lent Racist, Anti-Semi­te”

Abhay Cha­ra­nar­avin­da Bhak­tivedan­ta Swa­mi Prab­hu­pa­da — bet­ter known as A.C. Bhak­tivedan­ta or sim­ply by the hon­orif­ic “Prab­hu­pa­da” — was a Ben­gali Indi­an Hin­du spir­i­tu­al leader who found­ed the Inter­na­tion­al Soci­ety for Krish­na Con­scious­ness, itself bet­ter known in the West as the “Hare Krish­na” move­ment. . . .

. . . . But the man who spear­head­ed the Hare Krish­na empire, Prab­hu­pa­da, espoused some very con­tro­ver­sial views that would like­ly upset, and even out­rage, those who are oth­er­wise sym­pa­thet­ic to spir­i­tu­al endeav­ors and the­ol­o­gy.

For one thing, Prab­hu­pa­da spewed vit­ri­olic racial hatred toward black/African peo­ple — repeat­ed­ly and explic­it­ly. Exam­ples of his racial big­otry are numer­ous and fre­quent­ly record­ed in lec­tures and pri­vate con­ver­sa­tions by his many devo­tees and dis­ci­ples over the decades.

Even if some of his com­ments were tak­en out of con­text (as his defend­ers and apol­o­gists some­times assert), the sheer vol­ume and mag­ni­tude of his immense big­otry can­not be ignored nor sug­ar-coat­ed.

Part of Prab­hu­pada’s hatred of blacks stemmed from his deep-seat­ed Hin­du beliefs that dark-skinned peo­ples rep­re­sent the very bot­tom of the hier­ar­chy of the human race — a direct reflec­tion of Indi­a’s ancient col­or-based caste sys­tem.

For exam­ple, in an April 1968 let­ter to a senior dis­ci­ple named Satsvaru­pa Dasa Goswa­mi (born an Ital­ian Roman Catholic in Stat­en Island named Stephen Guar­i­no), Prab­hu­pa­da wrote: “Cer­tain­ly we are not going to say these things about the Negro peo­ple pub­licly, we have no dis­tinc­tion between black or white, or demon or demigod, but at the same time, so long as one is demon or demigod, we have to behave in the prop­er way.” These words, which sug­gest­ed that blacks should be kept at a dis­tance, were uttered short­ly after the assas­si­na­tion of Mar­tin Luther King Jr.

Dur­ing a speech before a class in Los Ange­les lat­er that year, Prab­hu­pa­da told a bizarre tale of how the apart­ment he was stay­ing at in New York City had been bur­glar­ized and his type­writer and tape recorder stolen.

”When I came back [to the apart­ment] I saw the door [was] bro­ken,” Prabupha­da said. “That [build­ing] super­in­ten­dent, he was a Negro. He [had] done [it], I know that. This is [a] very com­mon case here [in Amer­i­ca].”

In a con­ver­sa­tion with devo­tees on the island of Mau­ri­tius from 1975, Prab­hu­pa­da chas­tised the gross mate­ri­al­ism of the West, while simul­ta­ne­ous­ly slur­ring black peo­ple.

“It is all [a] non­sense civ­i­liza­tion,” he declared. “A first-class Rolls Royce car, and who is sit­ting there? A third-class Negro. This is going on. You will find these things in Europe and Amer­i­ca. This is going on. A first-class car and a third-class Negro.”

Prab­hu­pa­da fre­quent­ly used the term “Negro” even though that word had fall­en out of favor in most Anglo­phone nations.

The theme of black peo­ple as cursed by God and hope­less­ly beyond redemp­tion appeared repeat­ed­ly in Prabhupada’s com­ments.

Dur­ing an ini­ti­a­tion ses­sion in Bom­bay (now called Mum­bai), he told some devo­tees who were prepar­ing to go to Africa: “You have got [a] good oppor­tu­ni­ty. You are going to Africa to deliv­er these per­sons ... These groups of men are con­sid­ered very fall­en … the black men … They are habit­u­at­ed to steal; there­fore they have been giv­en a sep­a­rate place, [the] African jun­gles.”

For a man who came from a coun­try col­o­nized by the British, Prab­hu­pa­da made some rather shock­ing state­ments about impe­ri­al­ism, in par­tic­u­lar as it per­tained to the Unit­ed States. In a dis­cus­sion with a dis­ci­ple named Sya­ma­sun­dara Dasa, Prab­hu­pa­da seemed to equate the Native Amer­i­cans (pejo­ra­tive­ly called “Red Indi­ans”) of North Amer­i­ca with the Sudras (the low­est-caste, dark­est-skinned Indi­ans of the Hin­du sys­tem in India).

“Sudras [black peo­ple] have no brain,” he said. ‘In Amer­i­ca also, the whole [of] Amer­i­ca once belonged to the Red Indi­ans. Why they could not improve? The land was there. Why [did] these for­eign­ers, the Euro­peans, came and improved [it]? So sudras can­not do this. They can­not make any [improve­ments].’

Prab­hu­pa­da appar­ent­ly also deeply embraced the myth of the “Aryan” super-race and linked the ancient peo­ples of India to Europe and the U.S. Dur­ing a talk in Aus­tralia one year pri­or to his death, Prab­hu­pa­da declared that “the Aryans spread [to] Europe also, and the Amer­i­cans, they also spread from Europe. So the intel­li­gent class of human being, they belong to the Aryans, [the] Aryan fam­i­ly. Just like [Adolph] Hitler claimed that he belonged to the Aryan fam­i­ly.”

The Swa­mi also equat­ed the Dra­vid­i­ans, that is, the dark-skinned orig­i­nal inhab­i­tants of India who now pre­dom­i­nate in the south­ern part of the coun­try, with black Africans. He also bemoaned that the Dra­vid­i­ans (black peo­ple) mixed with the Aryans (white peo­ple) through­out Indi­an his­to­ry, includ­ing in his native Ben­gal.

“In Ben­gal the … black mixed up with [the] white,” he com­plained. “In Ben­gal and Madras [now called Chen­nai, a city in South India], so many Dra­vid­i­an have been mixed up with the Aryan. There­fore in Ben­gal and Madras you’ll find many [peo­ple who are] black.”

The Dra­vid­i­ans, Prab­hu­pa­da declared, are “non-Aryans. Just like these Africans, they are not Aryans.”

Prab­hu­pa­da also appeared to warn that the race-mix­ing that occurred in India was also occur­ring in Europe and Amer­i­ca, and that it would cre­ate seri­ous prob­lems in the future.

He also held some deeply pes­simistic views about the racial con­flict in the Unit­ed States. Speak­ing in Tehran, Iran, in 1976, Prab­hu­pa­da declared, “I don’t think the Negro ques­tion [in the U.S.] is solved … The whites, they do not like the Negroes still. Wher­ev­er there are Negroes, in that [neigh­bor­hood] the whites do not go in …. Although they [black peo­ple] have been giv­en equal [rights], but at heart the whites, they do not like it. Is there any improve­ment? I don’t think [so].”

Prab­hu­pa­da also appeared to endorse seg­re­ga­tion — the sep­a­ra­tion of the races, by refer­ring to behav­ior in the ani­mal king­dom.

“[Black] crows will not like to live with the ducks and white swans,” he report­ed­ly said dur­ing a train trip in India dur­ing the final year of his life. “And white swans will not like to live with the crows. That is [a] nat­ur­al divi­sion.”

In a con­ver­sa­tion with an Amer­i­can dis­ci­ple named Rames­vara, Prab­hu­pa­da sug­gest­ed that with­out gov­ern­ment con­trol through wel­fare, black peo­ple would become “out of con­trol” and cre­ate dis­or­der in soci­ety.

“Espe­cial­ly in your coun­try [the U.S.] it will be dan­ger­ous because these blacks, if they don’t get employ­ment, they will cre­ate hav­oc, these blacks,” he said. “And they are not civ­i­lized. They want mon­ey, and if they don’t get mon­ey, then they will cre­ate hav­oc.”

In a Feb­ru­ary 1977 con­ver­sa­tion in Maya­pur, along the Ganges, Prab­hu­pa­da pon­tif­i­cat­ed on what must be done with the “blacks” (the Sudras) of India — again, equat­ing them with African-Amer­i­cans of in the U.S. Most appalling­ly, he sug­gest­ed that black peo­ple should remain in bondage.

“[The] Sudra is to be con­trolled only,” he said. “They are nev­er [to be] giv­en… free­dom. Just like in Amer­i­ca. The blacks were slaves. They were under con­trol. And since you have giv­en them equal rights they are dis­turb­ing, most dis­turb­ing, always cre­at­ing a fear­ful sit­u­a­tion, [blacks are] uncul­tured and drunk­ards. What train­ing they have got? They have got equal [rights]? [It] is best, to keep them under con­trol as slaves but give them suf­fi­cient food, suf­fi­cient [clothes], not more than that. Then they will be sat­is­fied.”

Prab­hu­pa­da also had some choice words about the Jews.

Dur­ing anoth­er con­ver­sa­tion with Rames­vara, Prab­hu­pa­da alleged that Hitler killed the Jews in Ger­many because banks in the Unit­ed States and West­ern Europe (alleged­ly con­trolled by Jews) were help­ing to finance Vladimir Lenin and the Com­mu­nist rev­o­lu­tion in Rus­sia and else­where.

“They [Jew­ish bankers] were financ­ing against [the inter­ests of] Ger­many,” Prab­hu­pa­da said. “Oth­er­wise, he [Hitler] had no enmi­ty [against] the Jews… The Jews have got mon­ey. They want to invest and get some prof­it. Their only inter­est is how to get mon­ey, [not] nation­al­ism, [not] reli­gion, noth­ing of the sort ... There­fore [William] Shake­speare wrote [of] ‘Shy­lock, the Jew.’”

Also, speak­ing in New York in March 1966, the Swa­mi declared: “Hitler was a great stu­dent of Bha­gavad-gita [clas­sic Hin­du scrip­ture]”

A devo­tee named Gopagopis­vara Dasa wrote that Prab­hu­pa­da clear­ly embraced racism and eugen­ics.

“Prab­hu­pa­da cer­tain­ly believed that there was a mas­ter human race, the Aryans, and that they were white or tan,” he wrote. “Most oth­er races, such as Africans or Native Amer­i­cans, were infe­ri­or.” . . . . 

15. We then note that Arthur Young’s son-in-law, Michael Paine, worked for Arthur Dorn­berg­er at Bell Aero­space. Paine, and his wife Ruth, were two of the Oswalds’ appar­ent intel­li­gence han­dlers.

Miss­ing the most cru­cial con­nec­tion of all, however–that of Arthur Young, Ruth Paine and Lee Har­vey Oswald–they end­ed their book with the breath­less expec­ta­tion that some­thing of awe­some glob­al impor­tance would occur at or near the mil­len­ni­um a the site of the Pyra­mids at Giza. . . .

. . . . Odd, then, that the Oswalds’ Texas benefactors–the Paines–would have strong ties to the aero­space indus­try, and that Michael Paine would work for Gen­er­al Wal­ter Dorn­berg­er at Bell Aero­space. . . .

16. Fur­ther devel­op­ing the syn­the­sis of Nazi/eugenics racial the­o­ry with New Age phi­los­o­phy, that, in turn, com­bined with belief in space aliens, we present FTR #909.

Intro­duc­tion: NB: One should not nec­es­sar­i­ly con­clude that all or most of the folks at Celes­tial Sea­son­ings are eugeni­cists, although that may be the case. The dis­cus­sion here is under­tak­en to illus­trate the extent to which fas­cist and Nazi ide­ol­o­gy has infil­trat­ed the so-called New Age. In our opin­ion, the New Age, for the most part, is a syn­the­sis of Nazi occultism and the intel­li­gence com­mu­ni­ty’s mind con­trol pro­grams.

Con­tin­u­ing dis­cus­sion about the pro­found fas­cist influ­ences in the so-called New Age, this pro­gram high­lights strong links between peo­ple involved in launch­ing Celes­tial Sea­son­ings herbal teas and the Uran­tia Book. The lat­ter is a volu­mi­nous New Age tract that main­tains that human beings descend­ed from fair-skinned, blue-eyed space aliens.

” . . . . But there might be anoth­er rea­son they named it ‘celes­tial.’ Mo Siegel and John Hay, two of the founders, were avid believ­ers in a new-age bible called The Uran­tia Book, which fol­low­ers call ‘an epochal rev­e­la­tion authored sole­ly by celes­tial beings.’ The book touch­es upon every­thing from mind con­trol to a eugen­ics plot to elim­i­nate the ‘infe­rior races’ of our great nation. . . . The Uran­tia Book, a 4.3‑pound, 2,097-page tome, pub­lished first in 1955, is a mod­i­fied Sev­enth-Day Adven­tist text sup­pos­edly com­mu­ni­cated to an anony­mous man in a trance by aliens. . . . ”

The gen­e­sis of the book appears to lie with peo­ple asso­ci­at­ed with influ­en­tial Amer­i­can elite play­ers who sub­scribe to the eugen­ics phi­los­o­phy. ” . . . . In real­ity, it was like­ly authored in the ear­ly 1900s by a psy­chi­a­trist named William Sadler who used it as a ves­sel for his racist ideas. . . .”

Assert­ing that humans evolved from the blue-eyed, fair-skinned, extrater­res­tri­al Adam and Eve, the book man­i­fests an out­look that is not only racist, but could clear­ly lead to geno­ci­dal poli­cies.

” . . . . On every plan­et through­out every uni­verse, fair-skinned, blue-eyed aliens named Adam and Eve appear to ‘upstep’ the natives. When their prog­eny mate with the accept­able inhab­i­tants of the plan­et, the ‘infe­rior stocks will be elim­i­nated and there will be one puri­fied race, one lan­guage, and one reli­gion,’ as Gard­ner explains it in Uran­tia: The Great Cult Mys­tery.

But before that can hap­pen, Paper 51 of The Uran­tia Book says, ‘the infe­rior and unfit are large­ly elim­i­nated… it seems that you ought to be able to agree upon the bio­logic dis­fel­low­ship­ing of your more marked­ly unfit, defec­tive, degen­er­ate, and anti­so­cial stocks.’

This process hap­pens on every plan­et when Adam and Eve appear. But on Uran­tia (i.e., earth), it didn’t go accord­ing to plan. Adam and Eve messed up. So, ‘hav­ing failed to achieve race har­mo­niza­tion by the Adam­ic tech­nique,’ Part II: The Local Uni­verse sec­tion of book tells us, ‘you must now work out your plan­e­tary prob­lem of race improve­ment by oth­er and large­ly human meth­ods of adap­ta­tion and con­trol.’

‘Bio­logic ren­o­va­tion of the racial stocks — the selec­tive elim­i­na­tion of infe­rior human strains,’ Paper 70 of The Uran­tia Book says, will ‘tend to erad­i­cate many mor­tal inequal­i­ties.’ . . . . ”

William Sadler, the patron of the Uran­tia text, was a well-known, avowed eugeni­cist, who moved in elite cir­cles: ” . . . . While Hitler didn’t have any­thing to do with writ­ing The Uran­tia Book, William Sadler did. One of the most well-known psy­chi­a­trists of his era, Sadler got his start work­ing for Dr. John H. Kel­logg at the famous Bat­tle Creek San­i­tar­ium, which treat­ed celebri­ties like the Rock­e­fellers, Mont­gomery Ward and even Thomas Edi­son. Kel­logg was a noto­ri­ous eugeni­cist and found­ed the Race Bet­ter­ment Foun­da­tion, whose goals were ‘to call atten­tion to the dan­gers which threat­en the race.’

Influ­enced by Kellogg’s ideas, Sadler pub­lished three eugeni­cist books: Long Heads and Round Heads; or, What’s the Mat­ter With Ger­many (1918), Racial Deca­dence: An Exam­i­na­tion of the Caus­es of Racial Degen­er­a­tion in the Unit­ed States (1922) and The Truth About Hered­ity (1927). The Uran­tia Book echoes the ideas pre­sented in these books, and in some cas­es, it repro­duces the text word for word.

In Racial Deca­dence, Sadler express­es, among oth­er notions, that the ‘unfit’ should be ster­il­ized, that ‘moral­ity is hered­ity’ and that ‘some races are more moral than oth­ers.’ And in The Truth About Hered­ity, Sadler writes that mar­riage between races ‘is to be deplored when one of the races would be infe­rior as com­pared with the oth­er, which hap­pens to be the bio­logic fact as con­cerns the White and Negro races in this coun­try.’ . . . .”

Com­pare the advo­ca­cy con­tained with­in Uran­tia Book and the views of Hitler: “ . . . .‘Bio­logic ren­o­va­tion of the racial stocks — the selec­tive elim­i­na­tion of infe­rior human strains,’ Paper 70 of the Uran­tia Book says, will ‘tend to erad­i­cate many mor­tal inequal­i­ties.’

Com­pare that to Hitler’s words in Mein Kampf: ‘The demand that defec­tive peo­ple be pre­vented from prop­a­gat­ing equal­ly defec­tive off­spring rep­re­sents the most human act of mankind.’ . . . .”

There are indi­ca­tions that the Uran­tia crowd have tak­en the eugeni­cist teach­ings of the text to heart. Note that Ker­mit Ander­son, direc­tor of the genet­ic screen­ing pro­gram at Kaiser Per­ma­nente is asso­ci­at­ed with the group: ” . . . . The [Uran­tia] Fel­low­ship is putting its mon­ey where its mouth is, too. In a 2010 email sent to “read­ers with advanced infor­ma­tion and for­ward look­ing per­spec­tives that are not suit­ed for being post­ed on the web­site,” a fol­lower named Mar­tin Green­hut writes that the trustees have con­vened a pan­el on eugen­ics. He names all of the pan­el mem­bers, the most strik­ing of which is Ker­mit Ander­son, who at that time was the genet­ic screen­ing pro­gram direc­tor at Kaiser Per­ma­nente in Cal­i­for­nia and the author of much genet­ics research.

In FTR #908, we reviewed the evo­lu­tion­ary pro­gres­sion of the over­lap­ping men­tal hygiene move­ments and eugen­ics move­ments. Grad­u­at­ing from the­o­ry to prac­tice and involv­ing ster­il­iza­tion, legal pro­hi­bi­tion against “inter­mar­riage,” and euthana­sia, that evo­lu­tion led to the Nazi exter­mi­na­tion pro­grams derived from the T‑4 pro­gram.

With tech­nol­o­gy fore­cast as on track to replace large num­bers of work­ing peo­ple in years soon to come, the issue of what hap­pens to “excess” pop­u­la­tion is one to be addressed.

The infil­tra­tion of out­right Nazi ideas into the intel­lec­tu­al realm of the New Age phi­los­o­phy embraced by oth­er­wise gen­tle and alto­geth­er unsus­pect­ing indi­vid­u­als is to be viewed with alarm.

There is abun­dant evi­dence that so-called “UFO’s” are real and come from right here on earth, NOT from out­er space. Peo­ple who have been manip­u­lat­ed into believ­ing in the supe­ri­or wis­dom of “space aliens” who advise us to embrace “kinder, gen­tler geno­cide” may well be paving the way for a cat­a­clysm.

For­mer Air Force Sergeant Robert Vinson–an eye­wit­ness to an Oswald dou­ble fly­ing out of Dal­las on 11/22/1963–was post­ed to Site 51 (“Area 51”) out­side of Las Vegas.

While at the base, he learned of saucer-shaped air­craft being flown by the CIA at the base.

The same was true at the CIA’s oth­er base at Roswell, New Mex­i­co, where the C‑54 car­ry­ing the sec­ond Oswald had land­ed. Both Site 51 and Roswell were home to “fly­ing saucers” that peo­ple saw peri­od­i­cal­ly in the area. 16b. The so-called “Foo Fight­ers” (a cor­rup­tion of the French word­for fire–“Feu”) date to World War II. As dis­cussed in L‑1, Allied com­man­ders con­clud­ed that the Foo Fight­ers were new Ger­man anti-air­craft devices.

A UNITED STATES NIGHT FIGHTER BASE, France, Jan. 2 (AP)–American fight­er pilots engaged in night mis­sions over Ger­many report the Nazis have come up with a new “secret weapon” — mys­te­ri­ous balls of fire which race along beside their planes for miles.

Yank pilots have dubbed them “foo fight­ers,” and at first thought they might explode, but so far there is no indi­ca­tion that any planes have been dam­aged by them.

Some pilots have expressed belief that the “foo fight­er” was designed strict­ly as a psy­cho­log­i­cal weapon.  Intel­li­gence reports seem to indi­cate that it is radio-con­trolled and can keep pace with planes fly­ing 300 miles an hour.

Lt. Don­ald Meiers of Chica­go, said there are three types of “foo fight­ers” – red balls of fire that fly along at wing tip; a ver­ti­cal row of three balls of fire which fly in front of the planes, and a group of about 15 lights which appear off in the dis­tance – like a Christ­mas tree up in the air – and flick­er on and off.

The pilots of this Beau­fight­er squadron – in oper­a­tion since Sep­tem­ber, 1943 – find these fiery balls the weird­est thing they have as yet encoun­tered.

“A ‘foo fight­er’ picked me up recent­ly at 700 feet and chased me 20 miles down the Rhine Val­ley,” Meiers said.  “I turned to star­board and two balls of fire turned with me.  I turned to the port side and they turned with me.  We were going 260 miles an hour and the balls were keep­ing right up with us.”

“On anoth­er occa­sion when a ‘Foo-Fight­er’ picked us up, I dived at 360 miles an hour.  It kept right off our wing tips for awhile and then zoomed into the sky.”

“When I first saw the things, I had the hor­ri­ble thought that a Ger­man on the ground was ready to press a but­ton and explode them.  But they did­n’t explode or attack us. They just seem to fol­low us like will-o-the-wisps.”

Lt. Wal­lace Gould of Sil­ver Creek, N. Y., said the lights fol­lowed his wing tips for a while and then, in a few sec­onds, zoomed 20,000 feet into the air and out of sight. . . .

17. The pro­gram notes that the Under­ground Reich and the remark­able and dead­ly Bor­mann flight cap­i­tal orga­ni­za­tion is mov­ing to pur­chase a dom­i­nant posi­tion in the food pro­duc­tion busi­ness. Bay­er (for­mer­ly part of I.G. Far­ben) has pur­chased Mon­san­to and Mer­ck Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal.

This spec­u­la­tion, in turn, is set against the back­ground of infor­ma­tion strong­ly sug­gest­ing that AIDS was delib­er­ate­ly devel­oped.

For more than three decades, Mr. Emory has pre­sent­ed pro­grams indi­cat­ing that AIDS is a man-made dis­ease. Sup­ple­ment­ing that body of work, this pro­gram sets forth cir­cum­stan­tial evi­dence indi­cat­ing that AIDS may have been cre­at­ed on a foun­da­tion of research done by the Nazis in con­cen­tra­tion camps dur­ingthe Sec­ond World War. Recent med­ical research indi­cates the exis­tence of a genet­ic trait that affords immu­ni­ty to both AIDS and the infec­tions that have come to be known as “plague.” (Orig­i­nal­ly thought to be an out­break of bubon­ic plague–a bac­te­ri­o­log­i­cal disease–recent research has shift­ed focus to a viral dis­ease more akin to Ebo­la.)

This gene—the CCR5 delta-32 muta­tion—is only car­ried by the white race and [accord­ing to some sources] only by peo­ple of North­ern Euro­pean extrac­tion. Did the Nazis note [in their exper­i­ments] that some peo­ple appeared to be immune to infec­tion with plague? Were tis­sue sam­ples tak­en and pre­served for fur­ther study? Was this in any way con­nect­ed to the even­tu­al evo­lu­tion of the CCR5-delta 32 gene as a hered­i­tary pro­tec­tion against infec­tion by HIV?

In June of 2009, it emerged that CCR5 delta-32 was used in trans­plant ther­a­py admin­is­tered by a Ger­man doc­tor to an HIV-pos­i­tive leukemia patient. It appears that the patient was cured of HIV! The Ger­man doc­tor delib­er­ate­ly select­ed a CCR5 delta-32 pos­i­tive donor for the stem cells used for the trans­plant.

Obvi­ous­ly, we are won­der­ing about the pos­si­bil­i­ty of the Under­ground Reich using food­stuffs to vec­tor human­i­ty with genet­i­cal­ly engi­neered pathogens that will real­ize Hitler’s dream of an “Aryan” world.

17a. First, we high­light some aspects of Bay­er’s prospec­tive pur­chase of Mon­san­to.

Bayer’s poten­tial acqui­si­tion of Mon­santo Co. would cre­ate a giant seed and farm chem­i­cal com­pany with a strong foot­print in the U.S., Europe and Asia, com­bin­ing two busi­nesses with com­ple­men­tary geo­graph­i­cal focus.

But Bay­er might have to shed part of its busi­ness because of antitrust con­cerns. [Con­sid­er that in light of the Bloomberg sto­ry about BASF–D.E.] And the price tag on any deal would be huge: Monsanto’s mar­ket val­ue is around $42 bil­lion.

Ger­many-based Bay­er said Thurs­day in a short state­ment that its exec­u­tives had met recent­ly with their Mon­santo coun­ter­parts “to pri­vately dis­cuss a nego­ti­ated acqui­si­tion” of the spe­cial­ist in genet­i­cally mod­i­fied crop seeds.

The news of a poten­tially cost­ly deal sent Bay­er shares tum­bling 8.2%. Mon­santo shares climbed 3.5%.

Both com­pa­nies are famil­iar brands on farms around the globe. Bay­er, whose farm busi­ness pro­duces seeds as well as com­pounds to kill weeds, bugs and fun­gus, said the pro­posed acqui­si­tion would help it “cre­ate a lead­ing inte­grated agri­cul­ture busi­ness.”

Mon­santo, based in St. Louis, said it was review­ing Bayer’s pro­posal. Nei­ther com­pany gave oth­er details.

The pos­si­ble deal had been rumored for a week, but these were the first com­ments from either com­pa­ny.

“A com­bi­na­tion of both com­pa­nies would cre­ate $67 bil­lion of annu­al sales and the world’s largest seed and crop-chem­i­cal com­pany,” ana­lyst Ulrich Huwald at War­burg Research wrote in a research note to investors. “How­ever, the ques­tion is if Mon­santo would be inter­ested in a deal.”

Huwald said that “the busi­nesses are geo­graph­i­cally com­ple­men­tary, with Mon­santo hav­ing a strong pres­ence in North Amer­ica and Bay­er in Europe and Asia.”

A com­bi­na­tion of the two would have 28% of the glob­al mar­ket for pes­ti­cides and a strong pres­ence in the U.S. corn and soy­bean seed busi­ness.

Huwald said that the two com­pa­nies do over­lap in their veg­etable and cot­ton seed busi­ness, which could require divest­ments due to antitrust issues. Bay­er might also have to sell parts of its weed killer busi­ness.

Antitrust reg­u­la­tors scru­ti­nize merg­ers and takeovers and have the author­ity to block them if they hin­der free-mar­ket com­pe­ti­tion. If com­pa­nies get too much con­trol over a mar­ket, they can charge high­er prices and have few­er incen­tives to inno­vate.

News of the talks fol­lows a wave of con­sol­i­da­tion in the chem­i­cal indus­try: DuPont and Dow Chem­i­cal agreed to com­bine last year, and Chem­China agreed to buy Syn­genta of Switzer­land in March after Monsanto’s own bid for its Basel-based rival failed. . . . .

17b. We note that BASF, like Bay­er, one of the suc­ces­sor com­pa­nies to I.G. Far­ben, has part­nered with Mon­san­to in many of their GMO projects. “ . . . . More­over, a Bay­er-Mon­san­to tie-up may put BASF’s col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Amer­i­cans at risk. BASF and Mon­santo work togeth­er on research and devel­op­ment in plant biotech­nol­ogy, giv­ing a strong rea­son, per­haps, to spoil Bayer’s plans. . . . ”

There is one thing the share­hold­ers of the chem­i­cal com­pany BASF should fear more than con­sol­i­da­tion between its Ger­man rival Bay­er and the Amer­i­can seed mak­er Mon­santo: their own board wad­ing in with a coun­ter­bid.

Bayer’s bid for Mon­santo puts BASF’s chief exec­u­tive, Kurt Bock, on the spot. With agri­cul­tural rev­enue of 5.8 bil­lion euros ($6.5 bil­lion), BASF is one of the world’s big play­ers in an indus­try where every­one seems to be enthu­si­as­ti­cally cou­pling. Think of Dow Chemical’s merg­er with DuPont, and Syngenta’s planned takeover by Chem­China. Only BASF would be left on the shelf.

More­over, a Bay­er-Mon­san­to tie-up may put BASF’s col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Amer­i­cans at risk. BASF and Mon­santo work togeth­er on research and devel­op­ment in plant biotech­nol­ogy, giv­ing a strong rea­son, per­haps, to spoil Bayer’s plans. . . .

17c. IF Bay­er does pur­chase Mon­san­to and is forced to divest itself of some sub­sidiary firms due to anti-trust con­sid­er­a­tions, BASF may well pick up those firms that are “spun off,” thus giv­ing the Under­ground Reich effec­tive con­trol of the GMO food busi­ness.

In the lead up to Bay­er AG’s unso­licited takeover pro­posal for Mon­santo Co on Thurs­day, Chief Exec­u­tive Offi­cer Kurt Bock has talked up thrift, balk­ing at the price tags placed on assets. Rather than bet­ting the farm on a big deal and chal­leng­ing arch agro­chem­i­cals rival Bay­er for Mon­santo, Bock appears con­tent to stay out of the fray, ready to selec­tively buy up any busi­nesses that may come to the mar­ket in the dust of mega deals. . . . .

17e. Bay­er (a for­mer divi­sion of IG Far­ben) has, indeed, pur­chased Mon­san­to. This fur­thers the fir­m’s goal of becom­ing dom­i­nant in the farm sup­plies indus­try, com­bin­ing its crop sci­ence busi­ness with Monsanto’s strength in seeds in a form of ver­ti­cal inte­gra­tion. This is con­sis­tent with Nazi strat­e­gy to devel­op dom­i­nant car­tels on the world stage with the Under­ground Reich com­pa­nies.

The deal was a cash takeover, the largest in his­to­ry. Not many com­pa­nies can do this.

It will be inter­est­ing to see if reg­u­la­tors force Bay­er to sell off some assets and, as we spec­u­lat­ed about in FTR #912, Bay­er’s for­mer IG Far­ben asso­ciate BASF acquires those assets.

This would keep the firms under the con­trol of the remark­able and dead­ly Bor­mann cap­i­tal net­work.

Ger­man drug and crop chem­i­cal mak­er Bay­er clinched a $66 bil­lion takeover of U.S. seeds com­pa­ny Mon­san­to on Wednes­day, end­ing months of wran­gling with a third sweet­ened offer that marks the largest all-cash deal on record.

The $128-a-share deal, up from Bay­er’s pre­vi­ous offer of $127.50 a share, has emerged as the sig­na­ture deal in a con­sol­i­da­tion race that has roiled the agribusi­ness sec­tor in recent years, due to shift­ing weath­er pat­terns, intense com­pe­ti­tion in grain exports and a sour­ing glob­al farm econ­o­my.

“Bayer’s com­peti­tors are merg­ing, so not doing this deal would mean hav­ing a com­pet­i­tive dis­ad­van­tage,” said fund man­ag­er Markus Manns of Union Invest­ment, one of Bayer’s top 12 investors.

Grain prices are hov­er­ing near their low­est lev­els in years amid a glob­al sup­ply glut, and farm incomes have plunged.

But the pro­posed merg­er will like­ly face an intense and lengthy reg­u­la­to­ry process in the Unit­ed States, Cana­da, Brazil, the Euro­pean Union and else­where. Hugh Grant, Mon­san­to’s chief exec­u­tive, said Wednes­day the com­pa­nies will need to file in about 30 juris­dic­tions for the merg­er.

Com­pe­ti­tion author­i­ties are like­ly to scru­ti­nize the tie-up close­ly, and some of Bay­er’s own share­hold­ers have been high­ly crit­i­cal of a takeover that they say risks over­pay­ing and neglect­ing the com­pa­ny’s phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal busi­ness.

If the deal clos­es, it will cre­ate a com­pa­ny com­mand­ing more than a quar­ter of the com­bined world mar­ket for seeds and pes­ti­cides in the fast-con­sol­i­dat­ing farm sup­plies indus­try.

What the new­ly-formed com­pa­ny would be named is unclear.

Grant said on Wednes­day’s media con­fer­ence call that the future of the Mon­san­to brand has not yet been dis­cussed, but the world’s largest seed com­pa­ny is “flex­i­ble” about the name going for­ward.

The trans­ac­tion includes a $2‑billion break-up fee that Bay­er will pay to Mon­san­to should it fail to get reg­u­la­to­ry clear­ance. Bay­er expects the deal to close by the end of 2017.

The details con­firm what a source close to the mat­ter told Reuters ear­li­er.

Bern­stein Research ana­lysts said on Tues­day they saw only a 50 per­cent chance of the deal win­ning reg­u­la­to­ry clear­ance, although they cit­ed a sur­vey among investors that put the like­li­hood at 70 per­cent on aver­age.

“We believe polit­i­cal push-back to this deal, rang­ing from farmer dis­sat­is­fac­tion with all their sup­pli­ers con­sol­i­dat­ing in the face of low farm net incomes to dis­sat­is­fac­tion with Mon­san­to leav­ing the Unit­ed States, could pro­vide sig­nif­i­cant delays and com­pli­ca­tions,” they wrote in a research note.

Bay­er said it was offer­ing a 44-per­cent pre­mi­um to Mon­san­to’s share price on May 9, the day before it made its first writ­ten pro­pos­al.

It plans to raise $19 bil­lion to help fund the deal by issu­ing con­vert­ible bonds and new shares to its exist­ing share­hold­ers, and said banks had also com­mit­ted to pro­vid­ing $57 bil­lion of bridge financ­ing.

Bay­er shares rose 0.3 per­cent to 93.55 euros. Mon­san­to’s were up 0.6 per­cent at $106.76.

ONE-STOP SHOP

Bay­er’s move to com­bine its crop chem­i­cals busi­ness, the world’s sec­ond-largest after Syn­gen­ta AG, with Mon­san­to’s indus­try-lead­ing seeds busi­ness, is the lat­est in a series of major agro­chem­i­cals tie-ups.

The Ger­man com­pa­ny is aim­ing to cre­ate a one-stop shop for seeds, crop chem­i­cals and com­put­er-aid­ed ser­vices to farm­ers.

That was also the idea behind Mon­san­to’s swoop on Syn­gen­ta last year, which the Swiss com­pa­ny fend­ed off, only to agree lat­er to a takeover by Chi­na’s state-owned Chem­Chi­na.

U.S. chem­i­cals giants Dow Chem­i­cal and DuPont plan to merge and lat­er spin off their respec­tive seeds and crop chem­i­cals oper­a­tions into a major agribusi­ness.

And on Mon­day, Cana­di­an fer­til­iz­er pro­duc­ers Potash Corp of Saskatchewan Inc and Agri­um Inc agreed to com­bine to nav­i­gate a severe indus­try slump, but the new com­pa­ny’s poten­tial pric­ing pow­er may attract tough reg­u­la­to­ry scruti­ny.

The Bay­er-Mon­san­to deal will be the largest ever involv­ing a Ger­man buy­er, beat­ing Daim­ler’s tie-up with Chrysler in 1998, which val­ued the U.S. car­mak­er at more than $40 bil­lion. It will also be the largest all-cash trans­ac­tion on record, ahead of brew­er InBev’s $60.4 bil­lion offer for Anheuser-Busch in 2008.

Bay­er said it expect­ed the deal to boost its core earn­ings per share in the first full year fol­low­ing com­ple­tion, and by a dou­ble-dig­it per­cent­age in the third year.

Bay­er and Mon­san­to were in talks to sound out ways to com­bine their busi­ness­es as ear­ly as March, which cul­mi­nat­ed in Bay­er’s ini­tial $122 per-share takeover pro­pos­al in May.

Antitrust experts have said reg­u­la­tors will like­ly demand the sale of some soy­beans, cot­ton and canola seed assets.

Bay­er said BofA Mer­rill Lynch, Cred­it Suisse, Gold­man Sachs, HSBC and JP Mor­gan had com­mit­ted to pro­vid­ing the bridge financ­ing.
