The pro­gram fea­tures an inter­view with for­mer LAPD nar­cotics detec­tive Mike Rup­pert about the Tyree Suit and the pub­lic release of Vol­ume II of the CIA’s inter­nal report on alle­ga­tions of CIA com­plic­i­ty in drug traf­fick­ing. In addi­tion to dis­cussing the addi­tion of Pres­i­dent Clin­ton and Oliv­er North as defen­dants in the Suit, Mike dis­cuss­es the high mor­tal­i­ty rate among peo­ple who either par­tic­i­pat­ed in and/or tried to inves­ti­gate “Oper­a­tion Watch­tow­er” or “Oper­a­tion Orwell.” Of par­tic­u­lar note are the deaths of Mis­sis­sip­pi State Leg­is­la­tor Larkin Smith and a num­ber of U.S. Army colonels. The dis­cus­sion also sets forth damn­ing infor­ma­tion con­cern­ing the com­plic­i­ty of Oliv­er North and some ele­ments of U.S. intel­li­gence with Con­tra drug traf­fick­ing. Sig­nif­i­cant­ly, this infor­ma­tion comes from Vol­ume II of the CIA’s own report on alleged CIA involve­ment in drug traf­fick­ing.
