The death cult known as “The Order of The Solar Tem­ple” is the focus of this broad­cast, which high­lights aspects of the cult not cov­ered by the main­stream press. In addi­tion to detail­ing the his­to­ry of the Knights Tem­plar (a medieval order that wield­ed a pro­found influ­ence on the Catholic Church, as well as inspir­ing an occult tra­di­tion), the pro­gram ana­lyzes the influ­ence of the Tem­plars on Lanz von Lieben­fels, a major occult influ­ence on Hitler. The seg­ments also detail the Gestapo back­ground of Julien Ori­gas (the cult’s founder), Ori­gas’ col­lab­o­ra­tion with Mussolini’s chap­lain in the found­ing of the sect, the cult’s con­nec­tions to Mus­soli­ni sup­port­er and for­mer Waf­fen SS offi­cer Licio Gel­li and his fas­cist P‑2 lodge, The Order’ s alleged use as a front for U.S. intel­li­gence and far right-wing activ­i­ties around the world, its con­nec­tions to world lead­ers and indi­ca­tions that the cult was reor­ga­nized and re-con­sti­tut­ed fol­low­ing the mass deaths of mem­bers in 1994 and 1995.
