COMMENT: We have known for some time that fash­ion mover and shak­er Coco Chanel had strong Vichy French/Nazi affil­i­a­tions. An impor­tant recent book, “The Dev­il’s Chess­board” about Allen Dulles gives us added depth on the sub­ject.

The late “fas­cionista” was net­worked with none oth­er than Reichs­fuhrer SS Hein­rich Himm­ler, hav­ing served as one of his go-betweens in attempts to nego­ti­ate a sep­a­rate peace for Ger­many with Allen Dulles.
