COMMENT: A joint Iranian/Hezbollah terror team has been arrested in Argentina for plotting to attack a Habad center in Argentina, according to the DEBKA newsletter. (DEBKA has some good information in it, but has an editorial bias that favors the Israeli right wing, which itself has a fascist heritage, as we’ve seen. Its content must be handicapped accordingly.)
Of significance is the possible role that descendants of World War II Nazis may have played in assisting the attacks. DEBKA alleges that Argentine authorities are investigating the possibility that the Iranian/Hezbollah team may have assisted in the bombing of the Israeli embassy in 1992, and are looking into the possibility that similar elements may have assisted this plot.
In this regard, it is important to note several things:
- We’ve looked at the San Carlos de Bariloche area in connection with the arrest of Eric Priebke.
- That area is indeed an epicenter of ODESSA/Underground Reich activities.
- We have also looked at Nazi/White Supremacist/Iranian/Hezbollah activity in Argentina in connection with the AMIA bombing. There are evidentiary tributaries running between that attack and the first World Trade Center attack in 1993, the Oklahoma City bombing, the bombing of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie, and the 9/11 attacks.
- DEBKA makes no mention of the AMIA bombing.
- In our examination of the remarkable and deadly Bormann capital network, we have seen Paul Manning’s research that the organization is administered by descendants of high-ranking Nazis. This is consistent with the working hypothesis DEBKA presents vis a vis the Argentina investigations.
“Argentina Nabs Iranian-Hezbollah Cell, Aborts Third Habad Attack”; DEBKA; 1/28/2011.
EXCERPT: Argentina has captured a three-man Iranian-Hizballah cell and is hunting for the rest of the network, according to exclusive DEBKAfile sources. Its counter-terror police were a step ahead of attacks plotted against several of the 10 Habad centers in the country, part of a worldwide joint terrorist offensive against Israeli and Jewish targets. Two strikes were thwarted earlier this month in Thailand and Azerbaijan.
The three-man cell was captured in the Argentine resort town of San Carlos de Bariloche, 1,680 kilometers from Buenos Aires, a favorite starting-point for Israeli backpackers touring Patagonia and the Andes. . . .
. . . . In 1992, the[Israeli] embassy [in Argentina] was attacked by Iranian terrorists killing 29 people and injuring 242. DEBKAfile’s intelligence and counter-terror sources reveal that one of the things the investigation seeks to discover this time is whether the captured Iranian-Hizballah cell was given a safe house, guidance and aid by family members of World War II Nazi criminals who won sanctuary in Argentina.. At the time of the Israeli embassy bombing twenty years ago, the Iranian and Hizballah terrorists were suspected of working hand in glove with local pro-Nazi elements. Argentina, Germany and Israel never confirmed this.
However, San Carlos de Bariloche is known as a post-1945 Nazi haven. . . .
There was a movie where a character says “This is a nice little town, except for all the damned vampires.” Replace ‘vampires’ with ‘nazis’ and you get the picture of San Carlos de Bariloche.
Amazingly, the following made it through Wikipedia’s whitebread filters:
Nazis in Bariloche
Bariloche made headlines in the international press in 1995 when it became known as a haven for Nazi war criminals such as the former SS Hauptsturmführer Erich Priebke. Priebke had been the director of the German School of Bariloche for many years.
In his 2004 book Bariloche nazi-guía turística, Argentine author Abel Basti claims that Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun lived in the surroundings of Bariloche for many years after World War II.[2][3] The estate of Inalco has been pointed out by Abel Basti as the place that Argentine Nazis chose as Hitler’s refuge.[2]
A book published by British authors[who?] in 2011 proposed that Hitler and Eva Braun hid at Hacienda San Ramon, six miles east of Bariloche, until the early 1960s. This account is disputed by other historians.[4]
:end quote
It all makes a good plot for a 1940s serial potboiler, but there’s still more. The town can also boast of some mad (literally insane) Nazi scientists working on fusion for Peron.
A nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to leben there.
The war between Britain and Argentina over the Falklands was run by Nazis.
Imagine the Nazi delight at sinking Royal Navy vessels...
This time not sure Britain will be able to get the islands back..
We miss you Harriers.
@G: Manipulation of both sides? Very possible I suppose, though I never saw much proof of that, TBH.
I just completed a rather long post on the genesis of the Iranian nuclear program. It is a press conference presented by EMPact America, an organization officially dedicated to inform the public about the possibility of nuclear or electro-magnetic pulse attacks. Of course, Iran is the main target of the group. I am not sure that everything they say is completely true (obviously, they don’t mention the Underground Reich, Argentina, Odessa, the Bormann Capital Network, etc, or Fara Mansoor’s research) but at least it gives a clear picture of the assessment made by the intelligence community about the situation of the nuclear program in Iran, what they can say about it publicly, and the odds that it could produce and launch nuclear bombs against us. Two quotations are absolutely priceless: one by Kenneth Timmerman at the beginning of the post, and the other by Brzezinski at the end. Don’t miss that. Listen to it and tell me what you think, here or on my blog.

Two Argentina bombing suspects among Iran presidential hopefuls
Mohsen Rezai and Ali Akbar Velayati, believed to have planned the 1994 attack, among eight candidates approved Tuesday

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (JTA) — Two suspects in the bombing of the AMIA Jewish center in Buenos Aires are candidates in Iran’s presidential election.
Mohsen Rezai and Ali Akbar Velayati, who are believed to have planned the 1994 attack, were among the eight candidates approved Tuesday for the June 14 election by Iran’s Guardian Council to succeed Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The Iranian constitution bars Ahmadinejad from seeking re-election.
Rezai is under an international arrest warrant, or red notice, from the Interpol international police agency.
Argentina has accused the Iranian government of directing the bombing, which killed 85 and injured 300, and the Lebanon-based terror group Hezbollah of carrying it out. No arrests have been made in the case.
Six Iranians have been on Interpol ’s most wanted list since 2007 in connection with the bombing, including the current defense minister, Gen. Ahmed Vahidi.
The Argentinian Foreign Ministry said Tuesday in a statement that Argentina has received “no formal notification” about Iran’s official approval of an agreement for the two countries to jointly probe the AMIA attack.
Iran’s business commissioner to Buenos Aires, Ali Pakdaman, had said a day earlier that Ahmadinejad officially approved the agreement to create a Truth Commission investigating the bombing.
The statement issued by the office headed by Foreign Minister Hector Timerman said that only when the formal notification is received by the foreign ministries of Argentina and Iran will “the deal be put into operation.”
Iran also is believed to be behind the 1992 car bombing that destroyed the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires, killing 29 and injuring 242.
@Vanfield–
In this context, bear in mind that the Argentinian security officers implicated at the operational level of the plot were found to be members of WAR–White Aryan Resistance. That is an American white-supremacist organization that, according to some accounts, Timothy McVeigh belonged.

Basti’s work seems to have borne out to some extent as can be seen in the book, ‘The Grey Wolf’ by Simon Dunstan and Gerrard Williams (Sterling, NY, 2011). He begins by providing background on the accumulation by the Nazis of gold, loot, and art treasures and the negotiations by proxy with Kaltenbrunner and Dulles in the closing days of the war. Much of the information is corroborated with the Gregory Douglas articles used in the Flight of the Wolf show of 1993. Later on it discusses the developmment of the Bormann Organization with the help of people like Ludwig Freude, Heinrich Doerge, Juan and Eva Peron, and, of course, Bormann and Mueller. A fascinating read so far.
