COMMENT: Indica­tive of the lev­el of insti­tu­tion­al­ized untruth but­tressed by abject ignorance–manifest here in the case of Ukraine and sad­ly rou­tine in the U.S., U.K. and oth­er “democracies”–is a com­ment made by British For­eign Sec­re­tary Liz Truss.

In Moscow, the British equiv­a­lent of Sec­re­tary of State intoned that “Britain would nev­er accept Russ­ian sov­er­eign­ty over Ros­tov and Voronezh – until it was point­ed out to her that these places were not part of Ukraine but in Rus­sia. . . .”

Sheesh!
