COMMENT: For many years, we’ve covered the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamic fascist organization allied with the Axis in World War II and succored by Western intelligence services as anti-communist cadre during the Cold War.
Parent organization of al-Qaeda, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Brotherhood was joined at the hip with the George W. Bush administration, having been nurtured by GOP big wigs Grover Norquist and Karl Rove.
Continuing a most disturbing trend of infiltration of important U.S. institutions, the Brotherhood is establishing a presence at the U.S. Naval Academy.
This must be viewed against the background of the Nazi tract Serptent’s Walk, about a Nazi takeover of the United States following a series of terrorist incidents involving WMD. Having successfully infiltrated the military (as well as gaining control of the opinion-forming media), the Underground Reich takes over the U.S., after a declaration of martial law.
Nazi and fascist groups have long advocated the acquisition of specialized knowledge and abilities, infiltrating military and law enforcement organizations in order to acquire the ability to overthrow the government.
Needless to say, this bodes very poorly for the future.
A few points to consider in passing:
- Note that the IIIT was part of the SAAR network, nurtured by, and joined at the hip with, Grover Norquist. Although the post excerpted below references the Operation Green Quest raids of 3/20/2002, there is no reference to Norquist, Rove, Talat Othman (the Bush friend, business partner and political adviser who interceded on behalf of the institutions and individuals targeted. In fact, Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Watch (like its worthy predecessor Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Report) seems to skirt the Rove/Norquist/Bush Othman links to the Brotherhood.)
- Sinanovic appears to be of Balkan descent, perhaps either Bosnian or Kosovar/Albanian heritage.
- One of the IIIT’s summer program instructors–Louay Safi–was an instructor at Fort Hood, immediately prior to the shooting that garnered headlines. Major Hasan (the shooter) was an Islamist Army officer. Again, having Brotherhood instructors in the military bodes very, very poorly for the future.
EXCERPT: According to promotional material, a United States Naval Academy professor is teaching on behalf of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), a part of the US Muslim Brotherhood and where global Brotherhood leader Youssef Qaradawi reportedly serves as a trustee. IIIT recently announced its Summer Students Program for 2013 to be held from May 26 – July 3. According to the IIIT announcement, one of the instructors for the program will be Professor Ermin Sinanovic, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland who will be teaching the following course titled “Muslim World Affairs” . . . .
. . . . …an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, USA. He studied for an MA and a PhD in Political Science at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. Prof. Sinanovic obtained two BAs (one in Qur’an and Sunnah Studies, the other in Political Science) and an MA (Islamic Civilization) from the International Islamic University Malaysia. His research interests include transnational Islamic revival, Southeast Asian politics, Islamic movements, Middle East politics, Islamic political thought, and Islam and politics in general. At the Naval Academy, Prof. Sinanovic teaches courses on Southeast Asian politics, Middle East politics, and Islam and politics. He speaks Bosnian, English, Arabic, and Malay. “ . . .
. . . . One of the other instructors at the IIIT summer program will be US Muslim Brotherhood leader Louay Safi, identified in the announcement as affiliated with the College of Islamic Studies of the Qatar Foundation. In 2009 Louay Safi, also an official at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), was at the center of a controversy when it was learned that the US Defense Department brought him to Fort Hood as an instructor and that he had been lecturing on Islam to troops in Fort Hood who were about to deploy to Afghanistan. In February 2010, the activities and lectures of Dr. Safi on all military bases were suspended pending a criminal inquiry by the U.S. military. A shooting took place at Fort Hood near Killeen, Texas on November 5, 2009 in which a single gunman killed 13 people and over 30 people were injured in the worst shooting ever to take place on an American military base. . .
EXCERPT: The Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Watch has identified a second professor at the US Naval Academy who is close to the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), a part of the US Muslim Brotherhood and where Global Brotherhood leader Youssef Qaradawi reportedly serves as a trustee. The GMBDW reported yesterday that Ermin Sinanovic, who is teaching a course at the academy on “Muslim World Affairs”, would also be teaching at two different venues for IIIT. Dr. Sinanovic was not alone however. In September 2008, US media reported that Dr. Akbar Ahmed would be joining the U.S. Naval Academy to fill a new chair for Middle East Studies and would be teaching courses, advising midshipmen and faculty, and assisting in research projects. According to his CV, Dr. Ahmed served as First Distinguished Chair for Middle East/Islamic Studies at the US Naval Academy from 2008–2009.
Dr. Akbar Ahmed is a former Pakistan High Commissioner (Ambassador) to the UK and Ireland and currently the Ibn Khaldun Chair of Islamic Studies at American University in Washington DC. He is frequently described as a prominent Islamic moderate who has received numerous awards and accolades. However, Dr. Ahmed also has a long association with the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), established in 1980 by some of the most important figures in the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. . . .
. . . . IIIT was associated with the now defunct SAAR Foundation, a network of Islamic organizations located in Northern Virginia that was raided by the Federal government in March 2002 in connection with the financing of terrorism and both organizations had been under investigation at that time by the U.S. Justice Department until at least mid 2007. The organization appeared to have withdrawn from public view following the 2002 raids but seems to be enjoying a renaissance of late. . . .
(Dear Dave,
Please post this article where it’s most appropriate — and include the news agency photo of the actual flag flying next to the Mosque.
It would be informative to catalogue and publish all of the news agency photos demonstrating direct Nazi/neo-Nazi symbology, gestures, salutes, military formations, goose-stepping, etc. of the Muslim forces trained to destroy Israel.
Hezbollah, Hamas, Wahabists, whatever you have, you should post together to show the misguided Liberal/Progressive Anti-Semites in this country what they are directly supporting and funding.
KPFA, Amy Goodman, etc., should be compelled to answer how they can ignore these images and claim Israel should not defend its people and lands against annihilation.)

Hundreds of residents of Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem, were astounded Monday morning to see an oversized Nazi flag flying next to a mosque in the Arab town of Beit Omar.
The residents notified the IDF.
A resident, Uri Arnon, told the Tazpit News Agency: “I felt we were going back 75 years, losing our hold on the land. The Arabs no longer feel the need to hide their murderous tendencies, announcing out loud that they wish to annihilate us.”
An IDF spokesman said that the flag was hung on an electrical line, and that they were waiting to professionals to come and remove it.

The following article shows that Zawahiri admitted that Osama Bin Ladin was in the Muslim Brotherhood. One has to ask the question how Zawahiri would he know unless he was in it. His participation in the destruction of 3 Egyptian presidents Nasser, Sadat, Mubarek would strongly suggests he would have been a member starting as a teenager.

UC Regents confirm first practicing Muslim student to board, spurring protests from Jewish groups

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The University of California’s governing board confirmed the first practicing Muslim student member to the board on Wednesday, despite opposition from some Jewish groups.
UC regents voted in favor of UC Berkeley student Sadia Saifuddin’s nomination. One regent, Richard Blum, abstained from the vote.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center, StandWithUs, conservative commentator David Horowitz and others had called on the board to reject Saifuddin’s appointment, alleging that some of her political activities as a student senator and member of the Muslim Students Association at Berkeley make her unqualified to represent students.
Those activities included co-sponsoring a bill calling for the divestment of university funds from companies with economic ties to the Israeli military or Israeli settlements on the West Bank. She also authored a resolution condemning a UC Santa Cruz lecturer who had linked the Muslim Students Association with terrorism “for inciting racist and Islamophobic rhetoric.”
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been an occasional flashpoint for students and faculty members at the University of California. Pro-Palestinian protests have become a regular occurrence on many University of California campuses, where students sometimes use sensational tactics, including simulating checkpoints and combining

swastikas with the Star of David.
In 2010, 10 Muslim students were convicted of misdemeanors for repeatedly interrupting a speech by Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren at UC Irvine, where students were suspected of painting swastikas in university buildings.
A former University of California, Berkeley student who was co-president of the Zionist student group Tikvah sued the university in federal court two years ago over her alleged March 2010 assault by the campus leader of Students for Justice in Palestine. The suit was dismissed, but the U.S. Department of Education is investigating her complaint alleging that pro-Palestinian campus events have created an anti-Semitic environment.
Blum said he was concerned about the divisiveness caused by the divestment measure.
Before the vote, several current and former students urged the board to confirm Saifuddin, 21, citing her leadership and tolerance as a member of the student government at UC Berkeley.
Former UC student regent Jonathan Stein praised her work during the discussion over the divestment bill.
“Sadia is what kept UC Berkeley from cracking apart through that experience,” he said.
But Roberta Seid, research-education director at StandWithUs, said Saifuddin’s actions had “marginalized many students.” Seid was one of two people who spoke against Saifuddin’s confirmation.
“She is prominent in the anti-Israel boycott campaign, an extremist movement that demonized the Jewish state, rejects dialogue, and fosters bigotry,” Seid said.
