COMMENT: Ongo­ing For The Record pro­grams are detail­ing some of Wik­iLeaks’ activ­i­ties in con­nec­tion with Mid­dle East­ern polit­i­cal tur­moil. The  blog Har­ry’s Place has been focus­ing atten­tion on some of that mis­be­got­ten orga­ni­za­tion’s unsa­vory  activ­i­ties includ­ing: the access­ing of child pornog­ra­phy sites and defend­ing the use of same; the dis­tor­tion of the mean­ing of doc­u­ments by Joran Jer­mas aka “Israel Shamir” (the Holo­caust-denier and doc­tri­naire anti-Semi­te who is over­see­ing Wik­iLeaks’ Russ­ian oper­a­tions); Wik­iLeaks’ defense of its employ­ment of Jermas/Shamir; Wik­iLeaks’ dis­burse­ment of funds to Jer­mas in order to give doc­u­ments to Belarus strong­man Lukashenko.
