Al Jazeera, the Muslim Brotherhood and the Overthrow of Morsi

In past arti­cles, we have not­ed the close rela­tion­ship between the Al Jazeera net­work and the Mus­lim Broth­er­hood. Although the Broth­er­hood con­trolled net­work is adding grav­i­tas around the world, one place it is not doing so is Egypt. Many of its staff resigned in protest over the net­work’s tan­gi­ble pro-Broth­er­hood bias.

We’ve report­ed on the Egypt­ian Mus­lim Broth­er­hood’s move to estab­lish civil­ian par­al­lel police to sup­ple­ment the secu­ri­ty forces, coop­er­at­ing in this with the al-Qae­da-infil­trat­ed Gama’a-al-Islamiya. Observers now report fears that the Broth­er­hood may be try­ing to infil­trate the Egypt­ian mil­i­tary, tra­di­tion­al­ly an non-ide­o­log­i­cal force in Egypt­ian soci­ety.

Egyp­t’s Mus­lim Broth­er­hood con­tin­ues to behave as we pre­dict­ed. It has for­mal­ly attacked a Unit­ed Nations dec­la­ra­tion against vio­lence against women. This, from the sup­pos­ed­ly “demo­c­ra­t­ic,” “West­ern-ori­ent­ed” orga­ni­za­tion we were told would ush­er in a “new era” in Egypt­ian pol­i­tics. The Broth­er­hood is also coop­er­at­ing with the Jama’a al-Islamiya to assem­ble a cadre of Islamist civil­ian police to func­tion as a secu­ri­ty force and par­al­lel police.

Past pro­grams have dealt with the res­ur­rec­tion of the Fis­ch­er-Trop­sch process, devel­oped by I.G. Far­ben and the Third Reich to syn­the­size oil from coal, among oth­er fuels. The Fis­ch­er-Trop­sch process is being uti­lized in Qatar to syn­the­size fuel from nat­ur­al gas. One of the many dark clouds on the hori­zon of the Mid­dle East con­cerns the grow­ing and piv­otal role Qatar is play­ing in the dynam­ics evolv­ing from the Arab Spring. Awash with cash from its vast nat­ur­al gas and fos­sil fuel resources, Qatar is financ­ing Mus­lim Broth­er­hood-relat­ed activ­i­ties, includ­ing the Al-Jazeera net­work. With Qatar sub­si­diz­ing Islam­ic fas­cism through the Mus­lim Broth­er­hood and gen­er­at­ing cap­i­tal through the appli­ca­tion of Nazi sci­ence, the pos­si­bil­i­ty of that small but pow­er­ful nation as an Under­ground Reich sub­sidiary should be seri­ous­ly con­sid­ered.
