It has long been known that the yakuza are an important component of Japan’s political power structure. It turns out that Japan’s nuclear power structure has a long history with the yakuza too. This became an important reality shortly after the Fukushima catastrophe. Serious challenges remain. Yakuza too.
There’s been quite a bit of chatter lately about the threat of “Currency Wars” amongst global policymakers. It’s part of a larger debate over just what kind of economic policies and modes of central banking should even be philosophically allowable. The Bundesbank has some strong ideas about what governments should and should not be allowed to do with their monetary and fiscal policies. Not surprisingly, they’re also bad ideas.
Waging “war by other means,” Germany has used its banks to do what Teutonic armies have accomplished in the past. A former Italian cabinet member has accused Germany of deliberately precipitating the euro-zone crisis. Tellingly, Renato Brunetta termed what Angela Merkel did as “almost a victory in the third world war.” It is vital to understand that the events overtaking the world were deliberate and preconceived. Germany is waging World War III in the economic sphere, rather than the military one, in keeping with the principles of Prussian military theoretician Carl von Clausewitz.
We recall the tsunami of praise, Hosannas and Hallelujahs gushing forth from the world’s media and political punditry. Hailing the “Arab Spring” as the dawning of a new enlightenment in that part of the world, they missed the boat–fundamentally. We, on the other hand, were warning that this phenomenon was a Nazi operation, having been initiated by powerful corporate forces in the second administration of George W. Bush, it had its trigger with the WikiLeaks milieu–itself a far-right, Nazi-linked entity, as we demonstrated in FTR’s 732 and #745. (In addition to the documentation in the original WikiLeaks/Arab Spring series, see the article excerpted below.) Before delving into details, an excellent overview of recent events in Egypt was provided in an English-language blog by a citizen of that tortured country. The contradictions and deadly undercurrents of unfolding events were eloquently summed up by Mahmoud Salem in “Imagine.”
Supporters of Berlin’s austerity drive across the eurozone were relieved by Ireland’s approval of the ‘Fiscal Compact’ on Thursday. But this ‘good news’ coincides with a growing backlash by key leaders an officials against the endless calls for austerity without a ‘pro-growth’ component. Except, as usual, not really.
Reports of a new “six-point plan” are coming out of Merkel’s government and raising the hope that Berlin’s austerity-fetish has finally been satiated. Keep hoping.
Compared to Salafists, Muslim Brotherhood seen by U.S. as “moderate.” Are Brotherhood and Salafists secretly in league with each other?
Germany making Greek economic situation even worse by refusing to pay war reparations that are rightfully owed. Current Federal Republic carrying on legal succession to the Third Reich.
Comment: A recent fissure between Italian neo-fascist (he calls himself a “post-fascist”) Gianfranco Fini and Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi turned up indications of a cabal of powerful figures, who have clandestinely coalesced into a secretive, pivotal influence group. (Berlusconi is pictured at right.) This is reminiscent of the sinister P‑2 Lodge of Licio Gelli, a […]
Germany moving to realize Hitler’s geopolitical goals; Austria to become part of “Greater Germany?” Switzerland, Italy and Spain to face fragmentation? France’s Sarkozy adopts German revisionism.
