With the looming decisive second round in the French elections, there is renewed scrutiny on the National Front and its titular head Marine Le Pen.
Networked with various figures ranging from the milieu of Donald Trump to that of Turkish president Erdogan, the National Front and the Le Pens (father Jean-Marie and daughter Marine) are carrying on the fascist tradition in France.
The second of two shows, this program continues our examination of French deep politics, scrutinizing powerful economic and financial arrangements that determined the Franco-German political dynamic throughout most of the twentieth century and, thus far, through the twenty-first as well.
Critical to our understanding is the dynamic of occupying the high ground on both sides of a political divide. This program underscores how this has placed Germany in a key strategic position on both sides of key political struggles: In the pre-World War II era and postwar era as well; In the right-left political divide in French politics; In the struggle between anti-immigrant/anti-Muslim advocates such as the National Front and Muslim-Brotherhood linked elements in the Islamist community.
Key elements of discussion include:
1. Review of Steve Bannon’s ideological fondness for French anti-Semite and Vichy collaborationist Charles Maurras. Maurras’ Action Francaise is a direct antecedent of the National Front. ” . . . . One of the primary progenitors of the party was the Action Française, founded at the end of the 19th century. . . .”
2. Review of the relationship between former president Francois Mitterand (a socialist) and French Holocaust implementer and Vichy police official Rene Bousquet, who was close to Mitterand and helped to finance his campaign and those of other left-wing French politicians. With financial influence in left-wing parties, Germany can help motivate the French left to band together to defeat the French National Front and its anti-EU, anti-NATO ideology. Potential leftists can also be channelled into an anti-immigrant/anti-Muslim position along that of the National Front. ” . . . . . . . The most damning of all charges against Mitterrand and his right wing connections is probably his long lasting friendship with René Bousquet, ex secrétaire général of the Vichy police. . . . In 1974, René Bousquet gave financial help to François Mitterrand for his presidential campaign against Valéry Giscard d’Estaing. In an interview with Pierre Favier et Michel Martin-Roland Mitterrand claimed that he was not the only left wing politician to benefit from Bousquet’s money, as René Bousquet helped finance all the principal left wing politicians from the 1950s to the beginning of the 1970s, including Pierre Mendès France. . . .”
3. Discussion of Francois Mitterand’s primary role in establishing the Euro, as a prerequisite for German reunification (his alleged “fear” of a reunified Germany should be taken with a grain of salt in light of his collaborationist background and relationship with Rene Bousquet: ” . . . . He [Robert Zoellick] explained his understanding of how Europe got its common currency. . . . it was very clear that European monetary union resulted from French-German tensions before unification and was meant to calm Mitterrand’s fears of an all-too-powerful Germany. According to Zoellick, the euro currency is a by-product of German unification. . . . in strategic terms, Germany’s influence has never been greater. As the continent wants to bank on Germany’s AAA rating, Berlin can now effectively dictate fiscal policy to Athens, Lisbon and Rome – perhaps in the future to Paris, too. . .”
4. More about the Euro (launched with the critically important assistance of Francois Mitterand: “. . . . It [the euro] has turned the Germans into the new rulers of Europe. And it has consigned France to be the weaker partner in the Franco-German relationship. . . .”
5. Analysis of the decisive relationship between French steelmakers belonging to the Comite des Forges and their German counterparts and Ruhr coal producers, one of the foundational elements of the Fifth Column that is antecedent to the National Front: ” . . . . The struggle of the interwar period was not simply a clash between French interests on the one side and German interests on the other. During the development of the Ruhr-Lorraine industrial complex, like-minded industrialists in France and Germany had become directors of jointly owned and jointly controlled financial, industrial, and distributing enterprises. In many cases common views on questions of economic organization, labor policy, social legislation, and attitude toward government had been far more important to the industrialists than differences of nationality or citizenship. . . . ”
6. The economic collaboration between French and German oligarchs worked to the advantage of Germany: ” . . . .It is curious to note that only the French appeared to have this conflict between public policy and private activities. On the German side, complete co-ordination seems to have been preserved between national and private interests; between officials of the German Republic and the leaders of German industry and finance. . . .”
7. Exemplifying the operation of the pro-German Fifth Column in the Ruhr-Lorraine industrial complex is the relationship between the De Wendel and Rochling interests: ” . . . . During World War I the De Wendels, the influential French-German banking and industrial family which headed the French wing of the International Steel Cartel through their Comite des Forges and whose members had sat in the parliaments of both France and Germany, were able to keep the French army from destroying industrial plants belonging to the German enterprises of the Rochling family. . . . . . . . The Rochling family, with their powerful complex of coal, iron, steel and banking enterprises in Germany, has for generations played in close harmony with the de Wendel family. . . .”
8. The De Wendel/Rochling links were so profound that the Rochlings were called upon to help build the French defensive Maginot Line: ” . . . . On the other hand, as far as the French steel makers’ association, the Comite des Forges, and in particular the de Wendels who headed the Comite, were concerned, it was business as usual-or in this case, business as unusual-that prevailed. . . . When it came time for France to build its impregnable Maginot Line, who should be called in to supply steel and technical assistance but the German firm of the brothers Rochling. . . .”
9. After the French capitulation, the Vichy government–to no one’s surprise–exonerated the Rochlings: ” . . . . Now comes the outbreak of World War II. The French army marching into the Saar during the ‘phony war’ period in 1939, received orders not to fire on or damage the plants of the ‘war criminals,’ the brothers Rochling. In 1940 came the blitz and the fall of France. The Vichy government passed a decree exonerating the Rochlings and canceling their forty-year prison sentences. . . .”
10. The Franco-German steel cartel, in turn, belonged to an international steel cartel featuring the Thyssen firm Vereinigte Stahlwerke (later Thyssen A.G.). The Thyssen interests are inextricably linked with the Bormann capital network. The Thyssens’ principal American contacts were the Bush family. ” . . . . They marked the formation of the United Steel Works in Germany, as a combination of the four biggest steel producers Ernst Poensgen, Fritz Thyssen, Otto Wolff, and the others who drew this combine together had managed to get over a hundred million dollars from private investors in the United States. Dillon Read & Company, the New York investment house which brought Clarence Dillon, James V. Forrestal, William H. Draper, Jr., and others into prominence, floated the United Steel Works bonds in the United States . . . . ”
11. During the occupation of France, the Franco-German corporate connection yielded further German capital domination of French firms: ” . . . The Third Republic’s business elite was virtually unchanged after 1940. . . . They regarded the war and Hitler as an unfortunate diversion from their chief mission of preventing a communist revolution in France. Antibolshevism was a common denominator linking these Frenchmen to Germans. . . . The upper-class men who had been superbly trained in finance and administration at one of the two grand corps schools were referred to as France’s permanent ‘wall of money,’ and as professionals they came into their own in 1940. They agreed to the establishment of German subsidiary firms in France and permitted a general buy-in to French companies. . . .
12. The Franco-German corporate links and the domination of that relationship by corporate Germany and the Bormann network continued into the postwar period: ” . . . . Society’s natural survivors, French version, who had served the Third Reich as an extension of German industry, would continue to do so in the period of postwar trials, just as they had survived the war, occupation, and liberation. These were many of the French elite, the well-born, the propertied, the titled, the experts, industrialists, businessmen, bureaucrats, bankers. . . . Economic collaboration in France with the Germans had been so widespread (on all levels of society) that there had to be a realization that an entire nation could not be brought to trial. . . .”
13. Corporate German/Bormann control of French commerce and finance is the determining factor in contemporary French affairs: ” . . . . The understandings arrived at in the power structure of France reach back to prewar days, were continued during the occupation, and have carried over to the present time. [New York Times reporter Flora] Lewis, in her report from Paris, commented further: ‘This hidden control of government and corporations has produced a general unease in Paris.’ Along with the unease, the fact that France has lingering and serious social and political ailments is a residue of World War II and of an economic occupation that was never really terminated with the withdrawal of German troops beyond the Rhine. . . .”
14. The Franco-German corporate Axis facilitated the De Wendel family’s postwar assistance of Friedrich Flick, another of Hitler’s top industrialists.: ” . . . . The understandings arrived at in the power structure of France reach back to prewar days, were continued during the occupation, and have carried over to the present time. Lewis, in her report from Paris, commented further: ‘This hidden control of government and corporations has produced a general unease in Paris.’ Along with the unease, the fact that France has lingering and serious social and political ailments is a residue of World War II and of an economic occupation that was never really terminated with the withdrawal of German troops beyond the Rhine. . . .”
15. The seamless incorporation of the Franco-German corporate axis into the German-dominated EU and EMU has yielded the ability of the Federal Republic to interfere in the French political process: ” . . . . Like Fillon, Macron is considered ‘Germany-compatible’ by a German think tank, whereas all other candidates are viewed as unsuitable for ‘constructive cooperation’ because of their criticism of the EU and/or of NATO. Recently, Germany’s Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble ostentatiously recommended voting for Macron. Berlin’s interference on behalf of Macron shows once again that German domination of the EU does not stop at national borders, and — according to a well-known EU observer — surpasses by far Russia’s feeble meddling in France. . . .”
The program concludes with rumination about the role of anti-Muslim sentiment in the French and U.S. political process and the presence of Underground Reich-linked elements on both the “anti-immigrant” side and the Islamist/Muslim Brotherhood side.
Program Highlights Include:
1. Review of the Islamist/Muslim Brotherhood Turkish Refah Party (the direct antecedent of Erdogan’s AKP) and its relationship to Ahmed Huber of the Bank Al-Taqwa.
2. Review of the role of Ahmed Huber (later of the Bank Al-Taqwa) in introducing Turkish Muslim Brotherhood’s Necmettin Erbakan with Marine Le Pen’s father: ” . . . . . . . . A second photograph, in which Hitler is talking with Himmler, hangs next to those of Necmettin Erbakan and Jean-Marie Le Pen [leader of the fascist National Front]. Erbakan, head of the Turkish Islamist party, Refah, turned to Achmed Huber for an introduction to the chief of the French party of the far right. Exiting from the meeting . . . . Huber’s two friends supposedly stated that they ‘share the same view of the world’ and expressed ‘their common desire to work together to remove the last racist obstacles that still prevent the union of the Islamist movement with the national right of Europe.’. . .”
3. Review of The Camp of the Saints, a racist, anti-immigrant book valued both by French National Front types and Trump advisor Steve Bannon.
This broadcast is a (probably partly unsuccessful) summary attempt at explaining what will be the results of the ascendance of the Trumpenkampfverbande in the U.S. It is to be hoped that this description will go further toward explaining what is going on than the original program. In addition to the excerpts of articles presented in the program, we will summarize some of the central arguments in the broadcast, with links to other programs and lectures, where possible.
In AFA #37, we discussed the Gehlen “Org” and related elements as a Trojan Horse, using anti-communism to infiltrate the United States and, ultimately, destroy it from within. In this program we develop that analysis further, adding the role of the House of Habsburg and associates to the Trojan Horse metaphor. When the U.S. frustrated the de-Nazification of Germany, opted to ally with the remarkable and deadly Bormann capital network and the associated Habsburg royal family, and returned the Japanese and Italian fascists to power (with a civilian facade), this country signed its own death warrant.
America’s entry into two World Wars, after the combat had proceeded for years, decided both conflicts against Germany. The American revolution was the first successful revolt of a European colonial power against its colonial master. Both Germany and the House of Habsburg vowed never again! Never!
In this context, we observe that the Habsburgs (royal house of the Austro-Hungarian Empire) ruled for six hundred years. Six hundred years ago–1417–was three quarters of a century before Columbus sailed. To the Habsburgs, America is a blip. Democracy is a blip. They see things in an entirely different way. Because the U.S. was an unassailable military power and the most powerful economy on earth, the country could only be brought down by subversion from within. We gave the Underground Reich and the Habsburgs the keys to the kingdom, not unlike the Praetorian Guard–Germanic mercenary troops appointed to guard the Roman Emperor. Eventually they controlled the throne and preserved the Roman Empire for as long as it could make lucrative payments to the Germanic tribes who eventually defeated and sacked Rome.
The thrust of the broadcast is that the ascension of Trump–an American Caligula–is indeed the end of what Henry Luce called “The American Century.” The author of our first article is a former editor for Time magazine and a former State Department officer, so his literal take on Luce’s pronouncement is not surprising. What Stengel is talking about is the end of “Brand America,” to coin a phrase–the successful PR marketing of this country as the Land of the Free, Home of the Brave, etc.
That political mythology, which compelled much of Mr. Emory’s initial involvement in this research when he began in the early ’70s, will evaporate. That dissipation, however, will be eclipsed by the devastating economic, environmental, social and political devastation that will surely follow Trump’s policies.
As Mr. Emory forecast in FTR #‘s 918 and 919, among other programs in the “Trumpenkampfverbande” series, Trump’s anti-NATO rhetoric and general disparaging of the Atlanticist alliances that have held sway during the better part of “The American Century” are focused on precipitating the Underground Reich goals of: an all-EU army replacing NATO, a German-dominate Europe assuming center stage in world affairs, and the forging of an economic alliance with Russia (following Russian concessions on Ukraine) that will give “Corporate Germany” economic domination over the Earth Island. A trade war with China, coupled with possible military adventurism against that growing giant, will simply enhance its commercial and diplomatic gravitas. Germany/EU will fill the vacuum, enhancing their economic ascension.
Our next article heralds Mr. Emory’s prognostications. We do not feel Trump is necessarily conscious of his role. In the age of mind control, what goes on between a given individual’s ears is impossible to gauge, past a point. Among the various and sundry disastrous outcomes of Trump’s policies may well be a cyber-terrorist incident from a nation-state actor or a lone malefactor, this the result of a federal hiring freeze. ” . . . On his first official day in office after inauguration, President Donald Trump has made good on his plan to institute a federal hiring freeze—part of his effort to slash the federal workforce. Details are sparse: Trump has said there would be exceptions for the military, and a White House memo notes the freeze would be waived ‘when necessary to meet national or public safety responsibilities.’ Some experts fear a temporary hiring freeze could exacerbate a chronic problem in the federal government: a widespread shortage of cybersecurity talent. A hiring freeze could signal to essential cybersecurity talent—especially those who might consider joining the public sector from higher-paying industry jobs—that there’s no need or desire for them in the federal government, Alan Chvotkin, executive vice president of the Professional Services Council, told Nextgov. . . .”
Exemplifying a disconnect that is sure to help bring our economy down, Labor Secretary Puzder lauds the value of machines over humans. While he is correct that machines do not do many things that he sees as counter-productive, he ignores the fact that machines don’t by food at Carl’s Junior or Hardees, the food chains for which he is chief executive. No machine has ever bought anything. ” . . . Fast food executive Andrew Puzder, who President-elect Donald Trump is expected to tap as labor secretary, has advocated replacing some human workers with machines as a way for businesses to reduce costs associated with rising wages and health-care expenses. While machines require regular maintenance and can sometimes malfunction, Puzder said, they are also easier to manage than humans and don’t pose the same legal risks. “They’re always polite, they always upsell, they never take a vacation, they never show up late, there’s never a slip-and-fall, or an age, sex, or race discrimination case,” Puzder told Business Insider in March. Puzder serves as the chief executive of CKE Restaurants, the corporate parent behind fast food chains Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. . . .”
When automation, inflation of the price of consumer goods that are imported and have had tariffs slapped on them by “The Donald,” lack of health care forcing working people to devote increasingly scarce resources toward maintaining their and/or their families’ health, the subversion of minimum wage, overtime and unionization laws and statutes and increasing concentration of economic ownership have brought American consumers to their knees, our consumer-based economy will collapse.
Lastly, we note something that heralds poorly for the response of the American people to the chaos that is sure to envelope this country after the environmental, economic and social chaos that will inevitably result from Trump’s rollback of decades of necessary regulation, enormous budget deficits from the GOP’s tax cuts, neutralization of decades of progress on health care and rollback of the New Deal.
With Betsy De Vos appointed as Secretary of Education, the already dismal, frightening civic awareness of our public school students figures to get worse. In and of itself, that is cause for extreme pessimism. As our society disintegrates from the interplay of various economic, political and military factors, the calls for “someone to do something” to repair our dysfunctional society are likely to increase exponentially.
“. . . . When, 2011, the World Values Survey asked US citizens in their late teens and early 20s whether democracy was a good way to run a country, about a quarter said it was ‘bad’ or ‘very bad,’ an increase of one-third since the late 1990s. Among citizens of all ages, 1 in 6 now say in would be fine for the ‘army to rule,’ up from 1 in 16 in 1995. In a different national survey, about two-thirds of Americans could not name all three branches of the federal government or which party controlled the House of Representatives. In a third study, almost half of the respondents said the government should be permitted to prohibit a peaceful march. . . .”
Program Highlights Include: review of the Habsburg role in Ukraine; review of Karl von Habsburg and his UNPO; review of Karl von Habsburg’s marriage to Francesca Thyssen-Bornemisza and, through that, the Bormann capital network; review of the intimate proximity of the House of Habsburg and the House of Liechtenstein; review of House of Liechtenstein cousin Martin Wachter’s stewardship of a Bank al-Taqwa subsidiary; review of the Habsburg proximity to the death of Antonin Scalia, which may have helped to solidify the GOP behind Trump.
Supplementing analysis in the first four programs about the Trumpenkampfverbande, this program examines the media bias in his favor in the context of the Nazi tract “Serpent’s Walk,” about a Nazi takeover of the U.S. in the mid-twenty-first century. That takeover occurs after the SS goes underground (which happened), builds up their “economic muscle,” (which has happened with the Bormann network), buys into the opinion-forming media (which has happened) and sways the American people. “A century after the war they are ready to challenge the democrats and Jews for the hearts and minds of White Americans, who have begun to have their fill of government-enforced multi-culturalism and ‘equality.’ ” This appears to be happening with the Trump campaign. Noting the incessant grilling of Hillary Clinton over the e‑mail non-scandal (110 of 30,000 e‑mails contained classified material, a 0.36 percent margin of error) and the Clinton Foundation (a charity that helps the disadvantage and enjoys a higher official rating than the American Red Cross), Paul Krugman compared this–accurately–to the kid glove treatment afforded the dishonest and incompetent George W. Bush during the 2000 campaign. Reviewing Trump’s creditors, we note the primary role of Deutsche Bank in underwriting his real estate projects and the mysterious, opaque projects involving German industrial and aristocratic elements. After reviewing the absolute control that the Bormann capital network wields over corporate Germany, the program highlights the fundamental relationship between Deutsche Bank, Bormann and the remarkable and deadly network the Reichsleiter founded. Heavily invested in American corporations, the Bormann group and the Underground Reich are in an excellent position to manipulate media coverage of events, through direct corporate editorial policy and through the awarding of advertising contracts. We note, also, that the Bormann group controls corporate Germany: ” . . . What will not pass is the economic influences of the Bormann organization, whose commercial directives are obeyed almost without question by the highest echelons of West German finance and industry. ‘All orders come from the shareholders in South America,’ I have been told by a spokesman for Martin Bormann. . . .” The control of corporate Germany further enhances the ability of the Underground Reich to control media coverage. We are of the considered opinion that this dynamic is a major factor in the grotesquely slanted coverage of Trump’s campaign. While the “pundits” natter endlessly about Hillary Clinton’s health (never even considering that she may have been vectored), they are completely ignoring the fact that Trump is hundreds of millions of dollars in debt to Deutsche Bank, a predatory “too big to fail” institution that has flouted this country’s regulatory statutes and engaged in open law breaking. And, it’s a Bormann bank. The broadcast concludes with a transitional element that notes Trump’s political evolution from the anarcho/fascist libertarian milieu of Ron Paul, the same political forces that are the foundation of “Team Snowden” and WikiLeaks/Assange. ” . . . . Trump’s style and positions — endorsing and consorting with 9/11 truthers, promoting online racists, using fake statistics— draw on a now-obscure political strategy called “paleolibertarianism,” which was once quite popular among some Republicans, especially former presidential candidate Ron Paul. . . . But it was [Murray] Rothbard’s founding of the Ludwig von Mises Institute in 1982 that enabled the fledgling political movement to establish affinity with the neo-Confederate Lost Cause movement. . . . In the past few years, however, it’s been reborn as the alt-right, as a new generation of libertarians discovered their hidden heritage and began embracing racism and conspiracy theories. Many alt-right writers trace their roots to Rothbard. As one of them, Gregory Hood, put it, paleolibertarian theories about race and democracy “helped lead to the emergence [of the] Alternative Right.” Rothbard’s call for “sovereign nations based on race and ethnicity” is very similar to beliefs Trump’s alt-right supporters express today. . . .” Program Highlights Include: review of the ownership of the Quandt corporation, parent company of BMW and Audi automobiles by the heirs of Joseph Goebbels; BMW’s use of advertising contracts to influence editorial policy at “The Atlantic” magazine; review of George Soros’s role in financing Trump’s Chicago tower; review of the genesis of Soros’s business career “Aryanizing” Jewish property during the Holocaust.
Continuing analysis of Donald Trump’s candidacy, this program highlights Trump’s successful use of Hitler’s rhetorical style and principles. Blogger Josh Marshall noted: ” . . . This was as wild and as unbridled a speech as I’ve seen from Trump. Even if you couldn’t understand English, it would be stunning to watch the slashing hand gestures, the red face, the yelling. . . . Watching this speech, compared to the press conference today in Mexico City, what kept coming to my mind was the contrast between Hitler’s uniformed rally speeches from the hustings and the suited, statesman Hitler we see in the old news reels in Munich and at other iconic moments in the late 1930s. . . . the demagogic style, the frenzied invocation of familial blood sacrificed to barbaric outsiders – these are not unique to him [Hitler]. When we see this lurid, stab-in-the-back incitement, the wild hyperbole, the febrile railing against outsiders who will make us no longer a country – the similarities are real. More than anything, perhaps the most chilling part of this day is the contrast between the two men – a measured, calm statesman figure we saw this afternoon and this railing, angry demagogue figure who captured the emotional tenor of a Klan rally. . . .” The similarity does not appear to be coincidental: “. . . . Donald Trump appears to take aspects of his German background seriously. John Walter works for the Trump Organization, and when he visits Donald in his office, Ivana told a friend, he clicks his heels and says, ‘Heil Hitler,’ possibly as a family joke. . . . Ivana Trump told her lawyer Michael Kennedy that from time to time her husband reads a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, ‘My New Order,’ which he keeps in a cabinet by his bed. . . .” The principles of the book have been put into action: “. . . . But it appears that one way or another, much of the content in ‘My New Order’ about how Hitler says propaganda works, and how he structures his speaking style, and how Hitler targets the lowest-common denominator as his intended audience, has seeped into Trump: the way he speaks, argues, rages and responds in public. . . .” Trump’s rhetorical reincarnation of Hitler corresponds to political support from a bevy of fascists and white supremacists, old and new, as discussed in FTR #‘s 882 and 920. Furthermore, the financing for his complex, mysteriously opaque real estate operations comes from institutions and individuals linked to the remarkable and deadly Bormann capital network, as highlighted in FTR #920. Continuing to manifest “dog whistles” directed at the Nazi faithful, Trump’s campaign presented the unlikely number of 88 high-ranking military officers who support his candidacy, channeling the “88” device used by postwar Nazis to code “Heil Hitler.” (“H” is the 8th letter of the alphabet.) One of the few observers to correctly analyze the scandalous role of the media in their coverage of Trump’s campaign is former CNN host Soledad O’Brien: ” . . . ‘If you look at Hillary Clinton’s speech where she basically pointed out that what Donald Trump has done — actually quite well — has normalized white supremacy,’ O’Brien explained to CNN host Brian Stelter on Sunday. ‘I think she made a very good argument, almost like a lawyer. . . . The former CNN host argued that the question that journalists should be asking is if Trump is ‘softening the ground for people — who are white supremacists, who are white nationalists, who would self-identify that way — to feel comfortable with their views being brought into the national discourse to the point where they can do a five minute interview happily on national television? And the answer is yes, clearly,’ she said. ‘And there is lots of evidence of that.’ . . .” The program concludes with a reading from “They Thought They Were Free: The Germans 1933–1945”–listeners should compare their subjective experience of the present with that of a professor who lived through Hitler’s ascension. Program Highlights Include: review of Deutsche Bank’s primary role in backing Trump’s business operations; review of George Soros’ backing of Trump’s business dealings; review of Soros’s role in “Aryanizing” Jewish property during the Holocaust; review of the links of the Bormann capital network’s pivotal role in Deutsche Bank and the Union Bank of Switzerland, another financier of Trump properties; an early manifestation of German “Ostpolitik,” in which the SS intelligence service floated the idea to Allen Dulles that Germany would ally with Russia.
FTR #‘s 914 and 915 feature former BBC and Reuters journalist Gerrard Williams, developing material he presented in his book (co-authored with military historian Simon Dunstan) “Grey Wolf: The Escape of Adolf Hitler.”
An apparent deal between Sullivan & Cromwell attorney turned spy Allen Dulles and Martin Bormann lies at the core of the Hitler escape, code-named “Aktion Feuerland” (Operation Land of Fire). In exchange for sparing the art looted by the Reich and granting the Western Allies access to Nazi military technology, Hitler’s escape along with those of Eva Braun, Martin Bormann and Gestapo chief Heinrich Muller were arranged. In addition, the SS and Gestapo-staffed Reinhard Gehlen spy outfit was also one of the “carrots” made available to the West in this deal.
The potential “sticks” were the full activation of the Nazi Werewolf guerillas to make life miserable for occupation forces, the destruction of the creme of Western art and a disinformation gambit presenting a Nazi operation to use U‑boat launched V‑1 missiles filled with nerve gas against New York. (The latter drew U.S. Navy anti-submarine forces away from the planned southern Atlantic route for Hitler’s U‑boat escape.)
Because Allen Dulles faced prosecution for his operations on behalf of Third Reich industrial concerns, Dulles joined forces with Bormann. Using the extensive Nazi presence in Argentina, Bormann and Muller successfully spirited Hitler and Eva Braun out of Germany.
Much of FTR #915 deals with the re-establishment of Nazis in power in the “new” Federal Republic and the role of Martin Bormann directing that government from afar. The role of the Nazis and the Gehlen spy outfit in particular in the Cold War is a primary focus of FTR #915.
Program Highlights Include: the foundational role of the German/American corporate links in the realization of “Aktion Feuerland;” the role of Eva Peron (“Evita”) as a Nazi spy prior to, and during, World War II; Evita’s role as a functionary of the postwar Bormann capital network; the revenge taken by Muller on members of Juan and Eva Peron’s contingent for extorting money from the Bormann network; famed espionage novelist Ian Fleming’s role as a British commando securing both art and Nazi military technology as the Nazi armies retreated; mainstream press accounts of Hitler’s escape and postwar activities; the continued redaction and withholding of documents about Hitler’s postwar presence; death threats directed against some of the authors’ sources; review of the Vatican-linked “Ratlines” in the escape of Nazi luminaries; details of the faking of the death of Martin Bormann; the use of doubles for Hitler and Eva Braun in Aktion Feuerland; pressure from right-wing German sources on the authors, attempting to suppress the investigation; the faking of the “DNA test” on Bormann’s “corpse”; the role of Nazis in managing the Cold War.
For more than three decades, we have examined disturbing evidence that AIDS was deliberately created and disseminated among various population groups considered “undesirable.” (Among the broadcasts covering this topic are: AFA #16, FTR #‘s 16, 606, and 682.)
Apparently the application of genetic engineering to the discipline of biological warfare, AIDS manifests a highly suspicious epidemiological pattern. Only pure bred Northern Europeans–“Aryans”–featuring the CCR5 delta 32 gene have a hereditary immunity to infection by HIV. People of African extraction have a hereditary susceptibility to HIV infection.
Such an eventuality was directly foreshadowed in a House Appropriations Subcommittee hearing for the Pentagon budget: “Within the next 5 to 10 years, it would probably be possible to make a new infective micro-organism which could differ in certain important respects from any known disease-causing organisms. Most important of these is that it might be refractory to the immunological and therapeutic processes upon which we depend to maintain our relative freedom from infectious disease.” That is VERY close to being the clinical definition of AIDS.
In this broadcast, we take a frightening look into the future and ask where such developments might lead. With Bayer and BASF poised to purchase Monsanto–a leading GMO-producing company–we fear that genetically-engineered binary pathogens might be introduced into the food supply. (Since the program was recorded, Bayer has finalized the deal, with Sullivan & Cromwell as the U.S. legal counsel for the deal.)
Much of the program underscores the inextricable link between the remarkable and deadly Bormann capital network and I.G. Farben, during and after World War II. (We note that both Bayer and BASF are some of the I.G.‘s successor companies, maintaining their profound connection to the Bormann group and the Underground Reich.) In addition to the prospect of the successor companies to I.G. Farben controlling the manufacture and application of GMO’s, we highlight disturbing evidence that other companies and interests that may well be part of the Bormann/Underground Reich nexus are gaining significant market shares of foodstuffs manufacturers that cater to middle, lower-middle and working-class populations.
Will genetically-engineered binary pathogens be introduced into the food supply? Will we be seeing the realization of Hitler’s vision of an “Aryan world” through dietary/culinary genocide?
Program Highlights Include: BASF’s partnership with Monsanto in the latter’s GMO projects; forecasts that BASF may acquire parts of Monsanto and/or Bayer that must be spun-off due to anti-trust considerations; Becker GMBH (a German food company begun by an SS officer with funds purloined during the Holocaust); Becker GMBH’s incorporation into ConAgra foods (almost certainly in exchange for significant stock ownership and/or a place on the board of directors); Brazilian-born, Swiss-based Jorge Paolo Lemann’s purchase of H.J. Heinz, Burger King and Anheuser-Busch; the development of the CCR5, delta 32 gene for successful stem-cell therapy for AIDS sufferers.
The mafia began as a resistance movement focused against Norse (Viking) and Saracen (Turkish/Muslim) invaders in 12th and 13 century Sicily. It might seem incredible to the casual observer that an organization that began so long ago could have developed and spread to the size, gravitas and scope of operations that it has. We also appreciate that when Mr. Emory uses the term “Underground Reich,” it might seem odd or incredible to many. Bringing up to date “L’Affaire Snowden,” we underscore the deep politics underlying the CIA’s broadcast psychological warfare fronts and their evolution into the milieu involving and surrounding Eddie the Friendly Spook. Much of the material in this program is reviewed from previous broadcasts, presented here to provide depth and understanding to how what has been presented as a “progressive,” “enlightened” phenomenon could be its opposite. “Team Snowden” manifests fascism and the Underground Reich at every turn. A major element of analysis is the development of the CIA’s focal point networks in the 1950’s, resulting in the formation of a CIA-controlled “government-within-the-government.” Is “Team Snowden” evolved from the focal point networks? Next the broadcast reviews the formation of the Broadcast Board of Governors, an umbrella organization enfolding the CIA’s radio propaganda and psychological fronts formed during the Cold War. “Team Snowden” is inextricably linked with the BBG–Snowden himself worked for CIA when he decided to infiltrate NSA and leak its secrets. In that context, we note that the Gehlen organization was at the foundation of the formation of the propaganda/psychological warfare fronts under the direction of the BBG. Much of the program underscores the Gehlen Org’s links to the Underground Reich, in order to reinforce listeners’ understanding of how this network dating to World War II could project its influence through the decades and into our contemporary historical period. ” . . . A network of former Nazi intelligence agents, the majority of whom were members of the SS, began working out of offices at Camp King side by side with army intelligence officers. . . . The Gehlen Organization was a murderous bunch, “free-wheeling” and out of control. . . The army became fed up with the Gehlen Organization, but there was no way out. Its operatives were professional double-crossers and liars–many were also alleged war criminals–and now they had the army over a barrel. . . .” Discussion concludes with “First Look” media czar Pierre Omidyar’s selection of Robert Lietzke to be an Omidyar fellow (Lietzke was one of Edward Snowden’s superiors when he was employed at Booz Allen Hamilton.) Program Highlights Include: Review of the Crusade For Freedom–the covert operation that precipitated the formation of the Nazi wing of the GOP; the CFF’s use of Radio Liberty as a front for employing fascists and laundering funds; the continuity in the Nazi chain of command from the Third Reich to the Gehlen organization when it went to work for the U.S.; the Gehlen organization’s strong links to the Bormann capital network; the strong overlap of the Thyssen industrial family, its business partners in the Bush family, Allen Dulles’ CIA and the Bormann network; the Gehlen group’s initial re-incarnation as the eyes and ears of Army intelligence.
Analysis of the Panama-based Mossack Fonseca law firm suggests the possibility that the firm is an intelligence front of some kind. Beyond that, there are indications that the outfit and/or key people involved with its generative milieu are linked to the Underground Reich. Erhard Mossack, father of Mossack Fonseca co-founder Juergen, not only served in the SS, but appears to have been recruited by U.S. after the war. Erhard Mossack was in possession of lists of Werewolf guerilla unit members. Originally assembled to conduct guerilla warfare against Allied armies occupying Germany, the Werewolves were a key element of post-war Nazi escape routes and the Otto Skorzeny-managed ODESSA network. The Werewolves were also the template for the early CIA/Gehlen Org “stay behind” units, the genesis of what became popularly known as Operation Gladio. Mossack Fonseca has helped “offshore” money for many interests, including the Marcos family’s Golden Lily-derived fortune and the Thyssen-Bornemisza family’s art dealings. One of the most interesting of Mossack Fonseca’s operations is its pivotally important Nevada subsidiary, headed by a Chilean woman named Patricia Amunategui, an admirer of Augusto Pinochet, Sara Palin, Mitt Romney, the Koch brothers, the Dalai Lama and the cult built around Swami Yogananda. A well-known and seminal “guru,” Yogananda was an admirer of Hitler and Mussolini in the 1930’s. Program Highlights Include: Mossack Fonseca’s use of bearer bonds for some of its subsidiary operations; Erhard Mossack’s probable work spying for the CIA on Cuba in Panama; Juergen’s brother Peter’s work as Panama’s Honorary Consul in Frankfurt, seat of the European Central Bank; review of the use of stolen art as a key capital resource by the Nazis; the BND’s refusal to release information about Erhard, although they had a file on him; review of the BND’s practice of recruiting from among the families of existing BND members; Pierre Omidyar’s refusal to publish Ken Silverstein’s story on Mossack Fonseca and subsequent demand for payment by “Vice News,” which did publish the article.
From the Republican Party to European political and intellectual elites to “The New York Times,” everyone is “shocked, shocked” at the fascistic nature of the Trump candidacy. They shouldn’t be–his candidacy is the direct outgrowth of powerful forces that have been at work in this country for decades. After highlighting two op-ed pieces from the “Times,” accurately noting the virulent fascism at the root of the Trump phenomenon, the broadcast notes that neither Europe, where fascism is on the march once again, nor the American so-called “progressive sector,” which has embraced the “Eddie the Friendly Spook,” Glenn Greenwald and Julian Assange are in a position to complain. Snowden, Greenwald, Assange et al embody PRECISELY the same forces percolating at the surface of the Trump waters. Much of the broadcast consists of excerpts of an important new book: “The Devil’s Chessboard: Allen Dulles, the CIA, and the Rise of America’s Secret Government” by David Talbot. In that worthy volume, Talbot chronicles the role of the Dulles brothers and Sullivan and Cromwell in the capitalization of Hitler’s Germany and the cover-up of the Nazi flight capital program, Dulles’s long collaboration with Nazi General Reinhard Gehlen, Gehlen’s pursuit (with Dulles) of the Cold War as a continuation of Hitler’s war against the U.S.S.R., the Dulles/Gehlen collaboration in the formation of the fascist networks known as “Stay Behind/Gladio.” The program concludes with review of the Crusade For Freedom, a Dulles project which culminated in the formation of a Nazi branch of the GOP. Program Highlights Include: the genesis of the Bormann network and its apparent collaboration with the Dulles networks; Prescott Bush, Sr.‘s role as the Senate’s liaison with Dulles’s CIA; the roles of Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, William Casey and George H.W. Bush with the Crusade For Freedom; “The New York Times” and its own incorporation of Third Reich alumni as part of its collaboration with CIA.
Continuing discussion and analysis from FTR #868, this program underscores the possible role of Swedish and Scandinavian fascists overlapping both WACL and Sapo, the Swedish intelligence service. Involved with escape networks forged to aid the international flight from justice of fascists and Nazis, the principals in these networks exhibited behavior around the time of the Palme killing that is suggestive. Worth noting in this regard is the late Stieg Larsson’s investigation of the Palme killing, which pointed in the direction of some of the same figures examined in the Kruger essay. The program concludes with an examination of the Bofors munitions firm and its corporate links to Third Reich industry and the postwar Bormann capital network, with which it may well be affiliated.
