In the ongo­ing series about the Ukraine War, Mr. Emory has put forth a metaphor: the war itself and the atten­dant cov­er­age as a “philoso­pher’s stone” alchem­i­cal­ly chang­ing Amer­i­can and West­ern insti­tu­tions and indi­vid­u­als into the same polit­i­cal and intel­lec­tu­al fab­ric of the Ukrain­ian Insti­tute of Nation­al Mem­o­ry.

That insti­tu­tion is an epi­cen­ter of Orwellian his­tor­i­cal revi­sion­ism, rewrit­ing the World War II his­to­ry of Ukraine in such a way as to white­wash the war crimes of the OUN and UPA. Ban­dera head­ed up the OUN/B, the prin­ci­pal Third Reich col­lab­o­ra­tor dur­ing World War II.

Speak­er of the House Nan­cy Pelosi exem­pli­fies that grim polit­i­cal alche­my.

Pri­or to a video appear­ance by Ukrain­ian Pres­i­dent Volodomyr Zelen­sky, she greet­ed Zelen­sky with the OUN/B salute–which is now the offi­cial salute of both the Ukrain­ian mil­i­tary and police estab­lish­ments.

” . . . . House Speak­er Nan­cy Pelosi on Wednes­day, greet Mr. Zelen­sky with ‘Sla­va Ukraini!,’—‘Glory to Ukraine’—a greet­ing used by Bandera’s troops. . . .”

Since the Maid­an coup in 2014, we have rig­or­ous­ly chron­i­cled the deci­sive involve­ment in that event of the Ukrain­ian fas­cist milieu that ascend­ed to the pin­na­cle of pow­er in that benight­ed coun­try.

The Nazi col­lab­o­ra­tionist nature of the regime in pow­er in Ukraine is being sys­tem­at­i­cal­ly white­washed.

Reflect­ing on the sheer vol­ume of doc­u­men­ta­tion we have pre­sent­ed about the ascent of the OUN/B Nazis col­lab­o­ra­tors, we present a cou­ple of snap­shots from those archives.

First, we note that Andriy Parubiy–founder of the Social Nation­al Par­ty of Ukraine (lat­er re-named Svcoboda)–was one of the orga­niz­ers of the so-called “Orange Rev­o­lu­tion” that brought to pow­er Vik­tor Yuschenko (and his wife, U.C.C.A. oper­a­tive and Deputy Direc­tor of Pub­lic Liai­son under R0nald Rea­gan).

His role as “Com­man­der of Maid­an” placed him in close con­tact with then U.S. Ambas­sador to Ukraine Geof­frey Pyatt. Then Vice-Pres­i­dent Joe Biden was net­worked with Pyatt at the time. Paru­biy has been accused of help­ing to arrange the sniper fire that killed both pro­test­ers and police, lead­ing to the ouster of Yanukovych.

” . . . . Paru­biy was going in and out of Hotel Ukraina, from where numer­ous dead­ly shots were being fired. . . . Paru­biy, who, accord­ing to for­mer US Vice Pres­i­dent Joe Biden, was con­fer­ring with the US Ambas­sador to Ukraine, Geof­frey Pyatt through­out the upheavals almost on an hourly basis, has nev­er real­ly had his role in the putsch explained. . . .”

Yuschenko ele­vat­ed Volodymyr Via­tro­vych to pow­er, even­tu­al­ly becom­ing head of the Ukrain­ian Insti­tute of Nation­al Mem­o­ry.

On the sub­ject of pro­pa­gan­da and infor­ma­tion war in Ukraine, we note that Zelen­sky is the point man of that infor­ma­tion war and that he is a pro­tege of key Azov financier Igor Kolo­moisky.

“Azov” Zelen­sky is the point ele­ment in a—thus far—eminently suc­cess­ful infor­ma­tion war. The dimen­sion and suc­cess of the pro­pa­gan­da craft­ed and dis­sem­i­nat­ed OUN/B suc­ces­sor ele­ments in charge of Ukraine’s gov­ern­men­tal machin­ery would make Goebbels proud.

Con­sum­mate­ly iron­ic is the meme resound­ing­ly echoed in this coun­try that PUTIN is wag­ing an infor­ma­tion war of lies!

The deri­sive dis­missal of Russ­ian claims con­cern­ing ani­mal vec­tors posi­tioned in Ukraine to deliv­er bio­log­i­cal weapons into Rus­sia ignore crit­i­cal infor­ma­tion.

In addi­tion to the fact that we have devel­oped exhaus­tive doc­u­men­ta­tion of U.S. author­ship of the Covid-19, indica­tive of a U.S. will­ing­ness to employ bio­log­i­cal war­fare in pur­suit of its strate­gic objec­tives, Nick Turse chron­i­cled the devel­op­ment of mam­malian, rep­til­ian, aquat­ic and insect life forms as adjuncts to war­fare.

This book was pub­lished in 2008!

As dis­cussed in FTR#1235, doc­u­ments removed by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine–but archived by the Way­back Machine–confirm that the DTRA is among the sources of fund­ing for DOD-financed labs in Ukraine. 

We note that there are sig­nif­i­cant con­nec­tions between the agency over­see­ing the Ukrain­ian projects and insti­tu­tions impli­cat­ed in the appar­ent “bio-skull­dug­gery” sur­round­ing the U.S. bio­log­i­cal war­fare gam­bit involv­ing what Mr. Emory has termed “The Oswald Insti­tute of Virol­o­gy.” This is dis­cussed in: FTR#‘s 1157–1159, 1170, 1183 through 1193, and 1215.

The essence of the “Oswald Insti­tute of Virol­o­gy” gam­bit con­cerns the DTRA and Pen­ta­gon fund­ing of bat-borne coro­n­avirus research at the Wuhan Insti­tute of Virol­o­gy, much of it through Peter Dasza­k’s Eco­Health Alliance. Once the research was com­plete, it result­ed in pub­li­ca­tion which includ­ed the genome of the bat virus­es being researched. Using tech­nol­o­gy dis­cussed below, the virus­es were then syn­the­sized from scratch and pop­u­la­tion groups were vec­tored with the same viral strains being researched by the WIV. 

One must ask the ques­tion, also, as to why the Embassy sud­den­ly removed these doc­u­ments?

A crit­i­cal under­stand­ing of the vir­u­lent, over­whelm­ing lying in which the Ukrain­ian gov­ern­ment is engag­ing can be gleaned from Mar­i­upol. That city is in con­trol of the Nazi Azov reg­i­ment, who con­trol the flow of infor­ma­tion from the besieged metrop­o­lis.

With Zelensky—a pro­tégé of major Azov financier Igor Kolomoisky—parroting the Nazi formation’s rhetoric and being uncrit­i­cal­ly accept­ed by Ukraine’s, it can be said that the West, Biden’s USA in par­tic­u­lar, belongs to the lie.

The pro­nounce­ments com­ing out of Mar­i­upol should be under­stood in the cir­cum­stan­tial con­text of the fact that all of the inter­na­tion­al reporters are out of the city.

In addi­tion, the fact that reportage reach­ing the West has been but­tressed by hand-picked advo­cates of the Zelen­sky regime should be fac­tored into analy­sis of the cred­i­bil­i­ty of the bat­tle­field reportage reach­ing the U.S.

An excel­lent piece of report­ing by Max Blu­men­thal for the Gray Zone. Not­ing “Azov” Zelensky’s hyper­bole about the “Russ­ian bomb­ing” of the dra­ma the­ater in Mariupol—Blumenthal reports on local res­i­dents’ volu­mi­nous accounts of an Azov provo­ca­tion. Far from being “indis­crim­i­nate­ly” bombed by the Rus­sians, Azov appears to have plant­ed and det­o­nat­ed explo­sive charges, destroy­ing the the­ater.

Note that the Ukrain­ian charge of Rus­sia attack­ing a Turk­ish mosque was Azov/Zelensky pro­pa­gan­da as well.

Per­haps the most dis­turb­ing aspect of this dis­in­for­ma­tion is the appar­ent attempt by “Team Azov” to draw the U.S. and NATO into direct con­flict with Rus­sia by cre­at­ing imag­i­nary atroc­i­ties, which—thus far—have been uncrit­i­cal­ly accept­ed by the West.

 This pro­gram con­tin­ues analy­sis of the Ukraine war. The title of this series comes from Mort Sahl, who voiced the ques­tion in his auto­bi­og­ra­phy.

Charges and counter-charges in the ongo­ing Ukraine war sur­round Pen­ta­gon-financed “vet­eri­nary” and oth­er  bio­log­i­cal lab­o­ra­to­ries in Ukraine.

We note that there are sig­nif­i­cant con­nec­tions between the agency over­see­ing the Ukrain­ian projects and insti­tu­tions impli­cat­ed in the appar­ent “bio-skull­dug­gery” sur­round­ing the U.S. bio­log­i­cal war­fare gam­bit involv­ing what Mr. Emory has termed “The Oswald Insti­tute of Virol­o­gy.” This is dis­cussed in: FTR#‘s 1170, 1183 through 1193, and 1215.

Just as Lee Har­vey Oswald was set up to look like a com­mu­nist before being framed for JFK’s mur­der, so, too the “Oswald Insti­tute of Virol­o­gy” was set up to take the blame for the coro­n­avirus pan­dem­ic.

Essen­tial back­ground infor­ma­tion to eval­u­ate the debate:

1.–The alleged dif­fer­ence between “offen­sive” and “defen­sive” bio­log­i­cal war­fare research is aca­d­e­m­ic: If one if research­ing how “wee beast­ies” infect, sick­en and/or kill plants, ani­mals or humans, it is the same research, what­ev­er ter­mi­nol­o­gy one uses.
2.–Contemporary tech­nol­o­gy makes it pos­si­ble to syn­the­size dead­ly pathogens from scratch: ” . . . . Advances in the area mean that sci­en­tists now have the capa­bil­i­ty to recre­ate dan­ger­ous virus­es from scratch; make harm­ful bac­te­ria more dead­ly; and mod­i­fy com­mon microbes so that they churn out lethal tox­ins once they enter the body. Today, the genet­ic code of almost any mam­malian virus can be found online and syn­the­sised. ‘The tech­nol­o­gy to do this is avail­able now,’ said [Michael] Impe­ri­ale. ‘It requires some exper­tise, but it’s some­thing that’s rel­a­tive­ly easy to do, and that is why it tops the list.’ . . .”
3.–The essen­tial para­me­ters of the fact find­ing: ” . . . . So do bio labs exist inside Ukraine, and is the US sup­port­ing them? Yes, and yes. Ukraine does oper­ate bio­log­i­cal lab­o­ra­to­ries which receive US fund­ing. . . .”
4.–” . . . . Do the Ukraine lab­o­ra­to­ries store dan­ger­ous bio­log­i­cal agents? Yes, it appears so. [!] As part of their work research­ing dis­eases the bio labs do seem to hold dan­ger­ous pathogens. . . .”

The debate cen­ters on U.S. Pen­ta­gon-financed lab­o­ra­to­ries in Ukraine. Note that the lab­o­ra­to­ries are described as “vet­eri­nary laboratories”–the Pen­ta­gon is in the busi­ness of war-fight­ing, which essen­tial­ly con­sists of killing peo­ple and destroy­ing prop­er­ty. They are not in the busi­ness of tak­ing care of pup­py dogs and kit­ty cats. Vet­eri­nar­i­ans are viewed as opti­mum for bio­log­i­cal war­fare work, because they do not have to take the Hip­po­crat­ic Oath.

Key con­sid­er­a­tions in the con­tro­ver­sy:

1.–” . . . . [Robert Pope, the direc­tor of the Pentagon’s Coop­er­a­tive Threat Reduc­tion Pro­gram] not­ed that some of the facil­i­ties may con­tain pathogens once used for Sovi­et-era bioweapons pro­grams, but he empha­sized that the Ukrain­ian labs cur­rent­ly did not have the abil­i­ty to man­u­fac­ture bioweapons. . . . In a March inter­view with the Bul­letin of the Atom­ic Sci­en­tists . . . . He spoke specif­i­cal­ly about the Pentagon’s sup­port of 14 vet­eri­nary lab­o­ra­to­ries that pro­vide Ukraine with sam­pling and diag­nos­tic abil­i­ties to detect infec­tious dis­eases. . . .”
2.–The Pen­tagon’s Coop­er­a­tive Threat Reduc­tion Pro­gram is part of the Defense Threat Reduc­tion Agency. the for­mer was involved in research­ing bats and dead­ly pathogens: ” . . . . the U.S. mil­i­tary — specif­i­cal­ly the Depart­ment of Defense’s Coop­er­a­tive Threat Reduc­tion Pro­gram — began fund­ing research involv­ing bats and dead­ly pathogens, includ­ing the coro­n­avirus­es MERS and SARS, a year pri­or in 2017. . . .”
3.–Peter Daszak–of Ukrain­ian heritage–heads the Eco­Health Alliance, the largest mil­i­tary con­trac­tor receiv­ing funds from the Defense Threat Reduc­tion Agency: ” . . . . Metic­u­lous inves­ti­ga­tion of U.S. gov­ern­ment data­bas­es reveals that Pen­ta­gon fund­ing for the Eco­Health Alliance from 2013 to 2020, includ­ing con­tracts, grants and sub­con­tracts, was just under $39 mil­lion. Most, $34.6 mil­lion, was from the Defense Threat Reduc­tion Agency (DTRA), which is a branch of the DOD which states it is tasked to ‘counter and deter weapons of mass destruc­tion and impro­vised threat net­works.’. . .”
4.–Further review of Shi’s research fund­ing [at the Wuhan Insti­tute of Virol­o­gy] from the Pen­ta­gon, via Eco­Health Alliance: ” . . . . Shi Zhengli and her col­lab­o­ra­tors are also fund­ed by the U.S. mil­i­tary. Peter Daszak’s Eco­Health Alliance cur­rent­ly receives more mon­ey from the Depart­ment of Defense’s Defense Threat Reduc­tion Agency (DTRA) for Sci­en­tif­ic Research Com­bat­ting Weapons of Mass Destruc­tion than any oth­er mil­i­tary contractor—$15 mil­lion (25.575 per­cent) of the $60.2 mil­lion dis­persed in the last 6 months. . . .”
5.–The DTRA fund­ing of bat-borne coro­novirus research at WIV gains fur­ther grav­i­tas: “. . . . A Google Schol­ar search pro­duced two papers Shi has pub­lished that lists DTRA as a fun­der. To see how the first paper, ‘Com­par­a­tive Analy­sis of Bat Genomes Pro­vides Insight into the Evo­lu­tion of Flight and Immu­ni­ty,’ is rel­e­vant to bio­log­i­cal weapon­ry, it helps to under­stand the military’s inter­est in bat immu­ni­ty. . . .”

Doc­u­ments removed by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine–but archived by the Way­back Machine–confirm that the DTRA is among the sources of fund­ing for DOD-fund­ed labs in Ukraine. Note, too, the fact that many of these labs are “vet­eri­nary” labs. Vet­eri­nar­i­ans are high­ly-regard­ed for bio­log­i­cal war­fare recruit­ment, because they do not have to sign the Hip­po­crat­ic Oath.

One must ask the ques­tion, also, as to why the Embassy sud­den­ly removed these doc­u­ments?
The West–in this case a high­ly-placed Colonel in the UK’s CBW establishment–are echo­ing the ver­biage about Russ­ian “false-flag” pos­si­bil­i­ties.

In light of the West­’s false flag oper­a­tions in the last ten years, that should alert us to the pos­si­bil­i­ty of Rus­sia being set up for a Ukraine/U.S. bio­log­i­cal war­fare false-flag.

The over­all theme of the pro­grams to be pre­sent­ed in this long series is cap­tured in an obser­va­tion made by Glenn Pinch­back.

In 1961, the Joint Chiefs were push­ing for a first strike on the Sovi­et Union–a deci­sion to ini­ti­ate nuclear war. JFK refused, walk­ing out of the dis­cus­sion with the dis­gust­ed obser­va­tion that “We call our­selves the human race.”

In FTR #‘s 876,  926 and 1051, we exam­ined the cre­ation of the meme that Oswald had been net­work­ing with the Cubans and Sovi­ets in the run-up to the assas­si­na­tion. In par­tic­u­lar, Oswald was sup­pos­ed­ly meet­ing with Valery Kostikov, a KGB offi­cial in charge of assas­si­na­tions in the West­ern Hemi­sphere.

This cre­at­ed the pre­text for blam­ing JFK’s assas­si­na­tion on the Sovi­et Union and/or Cuba. There are indi­ca­tions that JFK’s assas­si­na­tion may well have been intend­ed as a pre­text for a nuclear first strike on the Sovi­et Union.

This pro­gram con­tin­ues our cov­er­age of the Ukraine War, embod­ied by the quote from Mort Sahl that is the title of this series.

We begin with an arti­cle which embod­ies Mr. Emory’s analy­sis of the war and its atten­dant cov­er­age as a “philoso­pher’s stone,” effect­ing an alchem­i­cal trans­for­ma­tion of the U.S., the West in gen­er­al and most of the peo­ple and insti­tu­tions in them into what might be called “the embod­i­ment of the Ukrain­ian Insti­tute of Nation­al Mem­o­ry.”

Golinkin penned an op-ed piece for The New York Times in which he men­tioned none of what he spoke about three years ago. Instead, he repeat­ed anti-Sovi­et and/or anti-Russ­ian mate­r­i­al which is prac­ti­cal­ly insti­tu­tion­al­ized at this point.

At the end of his Nation piece, Golinkin gave voice to a very impor­tant insight: ” . . . . By tol­er­at­ing neo-Nazi gangs and bat­tal­ions, state-led Holo­caust dis­tor­tion, and attacks on LGBT and the Roma, the Unit­ed States is telling the rest of Europe: ‘We’re fine with this.’ The implications—especially at a time of a glob­al far-right revival—are pro­found­ly dis­turb­ing. . . .”

Note also, that the Ukraine Insti­tute of Nation­al Mem­o­ry has des­ig­nat­ed the mem­bers of the SS Gali­cian Divi­sion (pic­tured at right, below, as vic­tims: ” . . . . The recu­per­a­tion even extends to SS Galichi­na, a Ukrain­ian divi­sion of the Waf­fen-SS; the direc­tor of the Insti­tute of Nation­al Mem­o­ry pro­claimed that the SS fight­ers were ‘war vic­tims.’. . . .”

Points of analy­sis and dis­cus­sion in Golink­in’s old­er work include:

* The ele­va­tion of the neo-Nazi Azov Bat­tal­ion that was for­mal­ly incor­po­rat­ed into Ukraine’s armed forces yet remains a neo-Nazi bat­tal­ion.
* Azov is now engaged in polic­ing with its Nation­al Druzhi­na street patrol units that have engaged in anti-Roma pogroms.
* Azov’s cam­paign to turn Ukraine into an inter­na­tion­al hub of white suprema­cy.
* Andriy Parubiy’s role in cre­at­ing Ukraine’s Nazi Par­ty that he con­tin­ues to embrace and that’s rou­tine­ly ignored as he has become the par­lia­ment speak­er.
* The deputy min­is­ter of the Interior—which con­trols the Nation­al Police—is a vet­er­an of Azov, Vadim Troy­an.
* Gov­ern­ment spon­sor­ship of his­tor­i­cal revi­sion­ism and holo­caust denial though agen­cies like Ukrain­ian Insti­tute of Nation­al Mem­o­ry. It is now ille­gal to speak unfa­vor­ably of the OUN/B or the UPA, both of which were Nazi col­lab­o­ra­tionist orga­ni­za­tions  with bloody, lethal his­to­ries.
* Torch­light parades are now nor­mal.
* With­in sev­er­al years, an entire gen­er­a­tion will be indoc­tri­nat­ed to wor­ship Holo­caust per­pe­tra­tors as nation­al heroes.
* Books that crit­i­cize the now-glo­ri­fied WWII Nazi col­lab­o­ra­tors like Stepan Ban­dera are get­ting banned.

As not­ed in pre­vi­ous pro­grams: ” . . . . In 1967, the World Con­gress of Free Ukraini­ans was found­ed in New York City by sup­port­ers of Andriy Mel­nyk. [The head of the OUN‑M, also allied with Nazi Germany.–D.E.] It was renamed the Ukrain­ian World Con­gress in 1993. In 2003, the Ukrain­ian World Con­gress was rec­og­nized by the Unit­ed Nations Eco­nom­ic and Social Coun­cil as an NGO with spe­cial con­sul­ta­tive sta­tus. Mr. Emory takes note of a PBS New­shour inter­view with Artem Semenikhin of the neo-Nazi Svo­bo­da par­ty. Por­tray­ing him as an anti-Russ­ian hero, the pro­gram does not note that the por­trait of OUN/B leader Stephan Ban­dera is clear­ly vis­i­ble in the back­ground, despite the Zoom blur­ring effect.

Next, we tack­le “Volodymyr Zelen­sky and the ‘Jew­ish Ques­tion.’ ” (This is a grim pun. “The Jew­ish Ques­tion” was the Third Reich’s euphemism for the impend­ing “Final Solu­tion” to “The Jew­ish Ques­tion.”)

The alto­geth­er valid Russ­ian mil­i­tary goal of the inva­sion was “De-Naz­i­fi­ca­tion.” That jus­ti­fi­ca­tion has been attacked as a ruse by using Zelen­sky’s Jew­ish affil­i­a­tion as a rebut­tal.

In that regard we note:

1.–” . . . . Zelensky’s top finan­cial backer, the Ukrain­ian Jew­ish oli­garch Igor Kolo­moisky, has been a key bene­fac­tor of the neo-Nazi Azov Bat­tal­ion and oth­er extrem­ists mili­tias. . . . Igor Kolo­moisky, a Ukrain­ian ener­gy baron of Jew­ish her­itage, has been a top fun­der of Azov since it was formed in 2014. He has also bankrolled pri­vate mili­tias like the Dnipro and Aidar Bat­tal­ions, and has deployed them as a per­son­al thug squad to pro­tect his finan­cial inter­ests. . . .”
2.–” . . . . Though Zelen­sky made anti-cor­rup­tion the sig­na­ture issue of his cam­paign, the Pan­do­ra Papers exposed him and mem­bers of his inner cir­cle stash­ing large pay­ments from Kolo­moisky in a shad­owy web of off­shore accounts. . . .”
3.–” . . . . They are the ultra­na­tion­al­ist Nation­al Mili­tia, street vig­i­lantes with roots in the bat­tle-test­ed Azov Bat­tal­ion that emerged to defend Ukraine against Rus­sia-backed sep­a­ratists but was also accused of pos­si­ble war crimes and neo-Nazi sym­pa­thies. Yet despite the con­tro­ver­sy sur­round­ing it, the Nation­al Mili­tia was grant­ed per­mis­sion by the Cen­tral Elec­tion Com­mis­sion to offi­cial­ly mon­i­tor Ukraine’s pres­i­den­tial elec­tion on March 31. . . .”
4.–” . . . . In March 2019, mem­bers of the Azov Battalion’s Nation­al Corps attacked the home of Vik­tor Medved­chuk, the lead­ing oppo­si­tion fig­ure in Ukraine, accus­ing him of trea­son for his friend­ly rela­tions with Vladimir Putin, the god­fa­ther of Medvedchuk’s daugh­ter. Zelensky’s admin­is­tra­tion esca­lat­ed the attack on Medved­chuk, shut­ter­ing sev­er­al media out­lets he con­trolled in Feb­ru­ary 2021 with the open approval of the U.S.  State Depart­ment, and jail­ing the oppo­si­tion leader for trea­son three months lat­er. Zelen­sky jus­ti­fied his actions on the grounds that he need­ed to ‘fight against the dan­ger of Russ­ian aggres­sion in the infor­ma­tion are­na.’ Next, in August 2020, Azov’s Nation­al Corps opened fire on a bus con­tain­ing mem­bers of Medvedchuk’s par­ty, Patri­ots for Life, wound­ing sev­er­al with rub­ber-coat­ed steel bul­lets. . . .”
5.–” . . . . Accord­ing to one Greek res­i­dent in Mar­i­upol recent­ly inter­viewed by a Greek news sta­tion, ‘When you try to leave you run the risk of run­ning into a patrol of the Ukrain­ian fas­cists, the Azov Bat­tal­ion,’ he said, adding ‘they would kill me and are respon­si­ble for every­thing.’ Footage post­ed online appears to show uni­formed mem­bers of a fas­cist Ukrain­ian mili­tia in Mar­i­upol vio­lent­ly pulling flee­ing res­i­dents out of their vehi­cles at gun­point. Oth­er video filmed at check­points around Mar­i­upol showed Azov fight­ers shoot­ing and killing civil­ians attempt­ing to flee. . . .”

Jew­ish iden­ti­ty is not rel­e­vant to the sit­u­a­tion as the Bor­mann group’s busi­ness oper­a­tions have includ­ed Jew­ish par­tic­i­pants as a mat­ter of strate­gic intent. In turn, this has giv­en the Bor­mann orga­ni­za­tion con­sid­er­able influ­ence in Israel. 

” . . . . I spoke with one Jew­ish busi­ness­man in Hart­ford, Con­necti­cut. He had arrived there quite unknown sev­er­al years before our con­ver­sa­tion, but with Bor­mann mon­ey as his lever­age. Today he is more than a mil­lion­aire, a qui­et leader in the com­mu­ni­ty with a cer­tain share of his prof­its ear­marked, as always, for his ven­ture cap­i­tal bene­fac­tors. This has tak­en place in many oth­er instances across Amer­i­ca and demon­strates how Bor­man­n’s peo­ple oper­ate in the con­tem­po­rary com­mer­cial world, in con­trast to the fan­ci­ful non­sense with which Nazis are described in so much ‘lit­er­a­ture.’ So much empha­sis is placed on select Jew­ish par­tic­i­pa­tion in Bor­mann com­pa­nies that when Adolf Eich­mann was seized and tak­en to Tel Aviv to stand tri­al, it pro­duced a shock wave in the Jew­ish and Ger­man com­mu­ni­ties of Buenos Aires. . . .”

Next, we con­clude with an arti­cle which embod­ies Mr. Emory’s analy­sis of the war and its atten­dant cov­er­age as a “philoso­pher’s stone,” effect­ing an alchem­i­cal trans­for­ma­tion of the U.S., the West in gen­er­al and most of the peo­ple and insti­tu­tions in them into what might be called “the embod­i­ment of the Ukrain­ian Insti­tute of Nation­al Mem­o­ry.”

Golinkin penned an op-ed piece for The New York Times in which he men­tioned none of what he spoke about three years ago. Instead, he repeat­ed anti-Sovi­et and/or anti-Russ­ian mate­r­i­al which is prac­ti­cal­ly insti­tu­tion­al­ized at this point.

At the end of his Nation piece, Golinkin gave voice to a very impor­tant insight: ” . . . . By tol­er­at­ing neo-Nazi gangs and bat­tal­ions, state-led Holo­caust dis­tor­tion, and attacks on LGBT and the Roma, the Unit­ed States is telling the rest of Europe: “We’re fine with this.” The implications—especially at a time of a glob­al far-right revival—are pro­found­ly dis­turb­ing. . . .”

Points of analy­sis and dis­cus­sion in Golink­in’s old­er work include:

* The ele­va­tion of the neo-Nazi Azov Bat­tal­ion that was for­mal­ly incor­po­rat­ed into Ukraine’s armed forces yet remains a neo-Nazi bat­tal­ion.
* Azov is now engaged in polic­ing with its Nation­al Druzhi­na street patrol units that have engaged in anti-Roma pogroms.

Pres­i­dent Putin has been por­trayed as a “mad­man” in the West. As we have seen, his stat­ed war goal of “De-Naz­i­fi­ca­tion” is alto­geth­er rel­e­vant and valid.

The arti­cle below is summed up as fol­lows: ” . . . . After a ‘New York Times’ reporter gross­ly dis­tort­ed what Putin and Zelen­sky have said and done about nuclear weapons, Steven Starr cor­rects the record and deplores West­ern media, in gen­er­al, for mis­in­form­ing and lead­ing the entire world in a dan­ger­ous direc­tion. . . .”

His claim that Ukraine was seek­ing nuclear weapons also is sub­stan­tive. 

Mr. Emory has stat­ed that he think that Putin fell into a well-laid trap, a Euro­pean iter­a­tion of the Afghanistan gam­bit, in which Zbig­niew Brzezin­s­ki lured the Sovi­et Union into invad­ing Afghanistan, in order to give them their “Viet­nam.” Togeth­er with the delib­er­ate col­lapse of petro­le­um prices, that war helped top­ple the U.S.S.R.

(Ian Brzezin­s­ki, Zbig­niew’s son, is a key mem­ber of the Atlantic Council–one of the major vehi­cles for the OUN/B milieu’s activ­i­ties in the U.S.)

Key Points of Dis­cus­sion and Analy­sis:

1.–One ele­ment of the bait­ed trap was Ukraine mov­ing to gain either “nukes or Nato mem­ber­ship. If, for the sake of argu­ment, Ukraine became a mem­ber of NATO, then they could devel­op nukes with impuni­ty, because a Russ­ian attack would trig­ger World War Three. ” . . . . In oth­er words, the Budapest Mem­o­ran­dum was express­ly about Ukraine giv­ing up its nukes and not becom­ing a nuclear weapon state in the future. Zelensky’s speech at Munich made it clear that Ukraine was mov­ing to repu­di­ate the Budapest Mem­o­ran­dum; Zelen­sky essen­tial­ly stat­ed that Ukraine must be made a mem­ber of NATO, oth­er­wise it would acquire nuclear weapons. . . .”
2.–” . . . . So, when the leader of Ukraine essen­tial­ly threat­ens to obtain nuclear weapons, this is most cer­tain­ly con­sid­ered to be an exis­ten­tial threat to Rus­sia. That is why Putin focused on this dur­ing his speech pre­ced­ing the Russ­ian inva­sion of Ukraine. Sanger and The New York Times must dis­count a Ukrain­ian nuclear threat; they can get away with doing so because they have sys­tem­at­i­cal­ly omit­ted news per­tain­ing to this for many years. . . .”
3.–There has been no more alarm­ing devel­op­ment in the war than the Russ­ian com­bat around Ukraine’s nuclear facil­i­ties. The sig­nif­i­cance of that com­bat comes into clear view in light of the fol­low­ing, which shows that this is not mere reck­less behav­ior on the part of Rus­sia. ” . . . . Ukraine has plen­ty of plu­to­ni­um, which is com­mon­ly used to make nuclear weapons today; eight years ago Ukraine held more than 50 tons of plu­to­ni­um in its spent fuel assem­blies stored at its many nuclear pow­er plants (prob­a­bly con­sid­er­ably more today, as the reac­tors have con­tin­ued to run and pro­duce spent fuel). Once plu­to­ni­um is reprocessed/separated from spent nuclear fuel, it becomes weapons usable. Putin not­ed that Ukraine already has mis­siles that could car­ry nuclear war­heads, and they cer­tain­ly have sci­en­tists capa­ble of devel­op­ing repro­cess­ing facil­i­ties and build­ing nuclear weapons. In his Feb. 21 tele­vised address, Putin said Ukraine still has the infra­struc­ture left­over from Sovi­et days to build a bomb. . . .”
4.–” . . . . ‘Ukraine has the nuclear tech­nolo­gies cre­at­ed back in the Sovi­et times and deliv­ery vehi­cles for such weapons, includ­ing air­craft, as well as the Sovi­et-designed Tochka‑U pre­ci­sion tac­ti­cal mis­siles with a range of over 100 kilo­me­ters.’ . . .”
5.–Another ele­ment of the bait­ed trap was an appar­ent Ukrain­ian mil­i­tary buildup at the bor­der of the break­away provinces in the East. ” . . . . The New York Times, in its over­all cov­er­age, chose not to report that the Ukrain­ian forces had deployed half of its army, about 125,000 troops, to its bor­der with Don­bass by the begin­ning of 2022. . . .”
6.–Historical back­ground to the seces­sion bid: ” . . . . both the provinces of Donet­sk and Lugan­sk in the Don­bass region vot­ed for inde­pen­dence from Ukraine in 2014 in resis­tance to a U.S.-backed coup that over­threw the elect­ed pres­i­dent Vik­tor Yanukovych in Feb­ru­ary of that year. The inde­pen­dence vote came just eight days after neo-Nazis burned dozens of eth­nic Rus­sians alive in Odessa.  To crush their bid for inde­pen­dence, the new U.S.-installed Ukrain­ian gov­ern­ment then launched an “anti-ter­ror­ist” war against the provinces, with the assis­tance of the neo-Nazi Azov Bat­tal­ion, which had tak­en part in the coup. It is a war that is still going on eight years lat­er, a war that Rus­sia has just entered. . . .”

For years the U.S. pro­claimed that the Bal­lis­tic Mis­sile Defense (BMD) facil­i­ties it was plac­ing in Roma­nia and Poland, on the Russ­ian bor­der, were to pro­tect against an “Iran­ian threat,” even though Iran had no nuclear weapons or mis­siles that could reach the U.S. But the dual-use Mark 41 launch­ing sys­tems used in the Aegis Ashore BMD facil­i­ties can be used to launch Tom­a­hawk cruise mis­siles, and will be fit­ted with SM‑6 mis­siles that, if armed with nuclear war­heads, could hit Moscow in five-to-six min­utes. Putin explic­it­ly warned jour­nal­ists about this dan­ger in 2016; Rus­sia includ­ed the removal of the U.S. BMD facil­i­ties in Roma­nia and Poland in its draft treaties pre­sent­ed to the U.S. and NATO last Decem­ber. . . .”

Zelensky and “The Jewish Question”

Putin’s stat­ed war aim of “De-Naz­i­fi­ca­tion” has been scorned by West­ern crit­ics who cite pres­i­dent Zelen­sky’s Jew­ish iden­ti­ty. In effect, this iron­i­cal­ly uti­lizes a Nazi iter­a­tion of iden­ti­ty pol­i­tics: “He can’t be a Nazi, because he is a Jew.” In that con­text we note: 1)–” . . . . Kolo­moisky, . . . has been a top fun­der of Azov since it was formed in 2014. . . .” 2)–The elec­tion mon­i­tors of Zelen­sky’s bid were drawn from the Azov Bat­tal­ion’s Nation­al Druzhi­na Mili­tia: ” . . . . They are the ultra­na­tion­al­ist Nation­al Mili­tia, street vig­i­lantes with roots in the bat­tle-test­ed Azov Bat­tal­ion that emerged to defend Ukraine against Rus­sia-backed sep­a­ratists but was also accused of pos­si­ble war crimes and neo-Nazi sym­pa­thies. Yet despite the con­tro­ver­sy sur­round­ing it, the Nation­al Mili­tia was grant­ed per­mis­sion by the Cen­tral Elec­tion Com­mis­sion to offi­cial­ly mon­i­tor Ukraine’s pres­i­den­tial elec­tion on March 31. . . .” 3)–” . . . . FTR#1231 How Many Lies Before You Belong to The Lie?, Part 4

This pro­gram con­tin­ues analy­sis of the war in Ukraine. 

As men­tioned by Mr. Emory in the last pro­gram, the war and its atten­dant cov­er­age has had the effect of the mytho­log­i­cal “Philoso­phers’ Stone” of the alchemists, cre­at­ing an alchem­i­cal trans­for­ma­tion of this coun­try, its polit­i­cal cul­ture and cit­i­zen­ry, the EU and UK, their polit­i­cal cul­tures and cit­i­zen­ry and much of the world into the Orwellian his­tor­i­cal per­ver­sion being enact­ed by the Ukrain­ian Insti­tute of Nation­al Mem­o­ry.

In numer­ous broad­casts, we have not­ed the Orwellian rewrite of Ukrain­ian his­to­ry to deny the per­pe­tra­tors of the Holo­caust in that coun­try and white­wash the Nazi-allied OUN/B and UPA.

An arti­cle in For­eign Pol­i­cy (pub­lished by “The Wash­ing­ton Post” and con­se­quent­ly VERY main­stream), fur­ther devel­ops the activ­i­ties of Volodymyr Via­tro­vych, appoint­ed as head of the Insti­tute of Nation­al mem­o­ry by Vik­tor Yuschenko and then re-appoint­ed by Petro Pet­roshenko.

After the Yushc­neko gov­ern­ment left pow­er and pri­or to the Maid­an coup, Via­tro­vych was in the U.S., work­ing as a fel­low at Har­vard Uni­ver­si­ty’s Ukrain­ian Research Insti­tute. This is in line with the fun­da­men­tal role of the OUN/B‑based Amer­i­can emi­gre com­mu­ni­ty in the gen­er­a­tion of the Orange Rev­o­lu­tion and the Maid­an coup.

” . . . . Dur­ing this peri­od Via­tro­vych spent time in North Amer­i­ca on a series of lec­ture tours, as well as a short sojourn as a research fel­low at the Har­vard Ukrain­ian Research Insti­tute (HURI). He also con­tin­ued his aca­d­e­m­ic activism, writ­ing books and arti­cles pro­mot­ing the hero­ic nar­ra­tive of the OUN-UPA. In 2013 he tried to crash and dis­rupt a work­shop on Ukrain­ian and Russ­ian nation­al­ism tak­ing place at the Har­ri­man Insti­tute at Colum­bia. When the Maid­an Rev­o­lu­tion swept Yanukovych out of pow­er in Feb­ru­ary 2014, Via­tro­vych returned to promi­nence. . . .”

Recall that Yuschenko mar­ried the for­mer Yka­te­ri­na Chumachenko–Reagan’s Deputy Direc­tor of Pub­lic Liai­son and a key oper­a­tive of the OUN/B’s Amer­i­can front orga­niz­tion the U.C.C.A.–and had Roman Zvarych (Jaroslav Stet­sko’s per­son­al sec­re­tary in the ear­ly 1980’s) as his Min­is­ter of Jus­tice.

Note, also, that Ser­hiy Kvit, the Ukrain­ian Min­is­ter of Edu­ca­tion is a bird of the same feath­er as Via­tro­vych. ” .

. . . . Last June, Kvit’s Min­istry of Edu­ca­tion issued a direc­tive to teach­ers regard­ing the “neces­si­ty to accen­tu­ate the patri­o­tism and moral­i­ty of the activists of the lib­er­a­tion move­ment,” includ­ing depict­ing the UPA as a ‘sym­bol of patri­o­tism and sac­ri­fi­cial spir­it in the strug­gle for an inde­pen­dent Ukraine” and Ban­dera as an ‘out­stand­ing rep­re­sen­ta­tive’ of the Ukrain­ian peo­ple. . . .’ ”

The mea­sure of the revi­sion­ism under­way in Ukraine can be gauged by this: “. . . . UPA supreme com­man­der Dmytro Kliachkivs’kyi explic­it­ly stat­ed: ‘We should car­ry out a large-scale liq­ui­da­tion action against Pol­ish ele­ments. Dur­ing the evac­u­a­tion of the Ger­man Army, we should find an appro­pri­ate moment to liq­ui­date the entire male pop­u­la­tion between 16 and 60 years old.’ Giv­en that over 70 per­cent of the lead­ing UPA cadres pos­sessed a back­ground as Nazi col­lab­o­ra­tors, none of this is sur­pris­ing. . . .”

It is depress­ing and remark­able to see such ele­ments being por­trayed as “hero­ic!”

Addi­tion­al per­spec­tive on the phys­i­cal, polit­i­cal and his­tor­i­cal real­i­ty under­ly­ing Via­tro­vy­ch’s revi­sion­ism is the mas­sacre of the 600 res­i­dents of the Pol­ish town of Janowa Dolina by the UPA. ” . . . . On the night of April 22–23 (Good Fri­day), 1943, the Ukraini­ans from the Ukrain­ian Insur­gent Army, togeth­er with local peas­ants, attacked Janowa Dolina. Some 600 peo­ple, includ­ing chil­dren and the elder­ly, were bru­tal­ly mur­dered (see Mas­sacres of Poles in Vol­hy­nia). Most homes were burned to the ground and the set­tle­ment desert­ed. The per­pe­tra­tors, com­mand­ed by Ivan Lytwynchuk (aka Dubowy) exer­cised rare cru­el­ty. Poles, unpre­pared and caught by sur­prise, were hacked to death with axes, burned alive, and impaled (includ­ing chil­dren). The mur­der­ers did not spare any­one, regard­less of age and sex. Ger­man gar­ri­son, num­ber­ing around 100 sol­diers, did not act and remained in its bar­racks. After the first wave of mur­ders, the Ukrain­ian nation­al­ists start­ed search­ing the hos­pi­tal. They car­ried its Ukrain­ian patients away from the build­ing, while Pol­ish patients were burned alive.[2] Dr Alek­sander Baki­nows­ki, togeth­er with his assis­tant Jan Borysow­icz, were hacked to death on the square in front of the hos­pi­tal. In sev­er­al cas­es, Ukraini­ans were mur­dered for try­ing to hide their Pol­ish neigh­bours. Petro Mirchuk, Ukrain­ian his­to­ri­an, count­ed sev­er­al hun­dred mas­sa­cred Poles, with only eight UPA mem­bers killed. . . .”

The over­all them of this series is encap­su­lat­ed in a let­ter from Glenn Pinchback–an Oper­a­tions Offi­cer at Fort Sill, Okla­homa to Jim Gar­ri­son in con­nec­tion with the lat­ter’s inves­ti­ga­tion of the assas­si­na­tion of JFK.

. . . . Gar­ri­son also obtained a tran­script of a let­ter writ­ten by Fer­rie to Barag­o­na. Next to Barag­o­na’s name, Gar­ri­son wrote: “Note Barag­o­na is impor­tant.” The let­ter had been sent to Gar­ri­son by Glenn Pinch­back, and a car­bon copy was sent to Mendel Rivers, a con­gress­man from Geor­gia. (Pinch­back worked in the Oper­a­tions Com­mand at Fort Sill, where he inter­cept­ed mail.) In the let­ter, Fer­rie shared his dream of the re-uni­fi­ca­tion of Ger­many and liv­ing in a world where all the cur­ren­cy was in Deutschmarks. Pinch­back­’s sum­ma­tion of the let­ter described a “Neo-Nazi plot to enslave Amer­i­ca in the name of anti-Com­mu­nism,” and “a neo-Nazi plot gar­gan­tu­an in scope.”

In con­clu­sion, the feel­ings I have are best expressed through a poem I have read in a num­ber of pro­grams:
