Reflections on the Capitol Riot, Part 1: Dubya’s Regime

Notable among the croc­o­diles shed­ding tears over the Capi­tol Riot was for­mer Pres­i­dent George W. Bush. Con­demn­ing the riot in one breath, he intoned that he would be attend­ing the inau­gu­ra­tion and that “ . . . . wit­ness­ing the peace­ful trans­fer of pow­er is a hall­mark of our democ­ra­cy that nev­er gets old,’ he added. . . .” What hap­pened in Wash­ing­ton D.C. on 1/6/2021 was not fun­da­men­tal­ly dif­fer­ent from the “Brooks Broth­ers Riot” in Flori­da that aid­ed the theft of the 2000 elec­tion. Orga­nized by Trump flak catch­er Roger Stone, that inci­dent and the efforts of cur­rent Supreme Court Jus­tices John Roberts, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Bar­rett saw to it that Shrub would inher­it his father’s Pres­i­den­tial man­tle. In FTR #456, we high­light­ed numer­ous and fun­da­men­tal Nazi links to the 9/11 attacks and the Bin Laden fam­i­ly, includ­ing evi­den­tiary trib­u­taries lead­ing in the direc­tion of “The Turn­er Diaries,” cit­ed in op-ed columns in con­nec­tion with the Capi­tol Riot.

Ana­lyz­ing the pos­si­bil­i­ty that Amer­i­can use of Mus­lim Broth­er­hood Islamists as proxy war­riors and armed her­alds of cor­po­ratist free-mar­ket eco­nom­ic val­ues might back­fire on the Unit­ed States, we look at the devel­op­ment of ISIS, the curi­ous Turk­ish about-face on the Fetul­lah Gulen orga­ni­za­tion and fall­out from the so-called “Arab Spring.” Begin­ning with dis­cus­sion of a “dooms­day” con­tin­gency plan con­coct­ed by al-Qae­da and Sad­dam Hus­sein to back each oth­er up mil­i­tar­i­ly in the event either or both were over­thrown by the U.S., we exam­ine the promi­nent role of for­mer mem­bers of Sad­dam’s offi­cer corps in admin­is­ter­ing ISIS. ISIS and al-Qae­da are hold­ing forth in Libya, which is serv­ing as a base for spread­ing their oper­a­tions into Africa. Like the bloody Syr­i­an civ­il war, the over­throw of Khadafy (which set the stage for the Islamist pres­ence in Libya) is an out­growth of the so-called “Arab Spring”–one of the “con­ga-line ops” we high­light­ed in FTR #885. Much of the pro­gram high­lights the oper­a­tions of the Fetul­lah Gulen orga­ni­za­tion in Turkey. Alleged to be a CIA front orga­ni­za­tion and Islam­ic extrem­ist in nature, the Gulen orga­ni­za­tion was for­mer­ly an ally of Tayyip Erdo­gan. Now, it is among his most bit­ter oppo­nents. Pro­gram High­lights Include: review of Hitler’s view that Islamists were a cru­cial Third Reich ally; review of a crit­i­cal meet­ing in Switzer­land at which promi­nent Euro-fas­cists and al-Taqwa direc­tor Ahmed Huber met; spec­u­la­tion that the Swiss “Euro-fas­cist” sum­mit may have helped gen­er­ate the intel­li­gence dis­in­for­ma­tion that helped lure the Bush admin­is­tra­tion into the ill-advised Iraq war; “ex” CIA offi­cer Gra­ham Fuller’s ridicule of the alle­ga­tion that the Gulen orga­ni­za­tion is a CIA front orga­ni­za­tion; the close con­nec­tions between Erdo­gan’s AKP Par­ty, Ger­many and the EU.

BND Files on Postwar Gestapo and SS Agents Purged During Ernst Uhrlau’s Directorship

Chief of the Ham­burg police dur­ing a peri­od in which Ger­man intel­li­gence had mem­bers of the Ham­burg cell of 9/11 hijack­ers under sur­veil­lance, Ernst Uhrlau was appoint­ed spe­cial advis­er to the Chan­cel­lor on intel­li­gence mat­ters in 1998. He became head of the BND in 2005. Dur­ing Uhrlau’s tenure as BND direc­tor, files on BND offi­cers with SS and Gestapo back­grounds were shred­ded.

This pro­gram high­lights German/Underground Reich con­nec­tions to both the 9/11 attacks and the Okla­homa City bomb­ing. Of par­tic­u­lar sig­nif­i­cance is Ernst Uhrlau: chief of Ham­burg police at the time Ger­man intel­li­gence had the 9/11 cell under sur­veil­lance, appoint­ed coor­di­na­tor of intel­li­gence for the Ger­man chan­cel­lor in 1998 and head of the BND in 2005. The son of Chan­cel­lor Kohl’s chief of staff may have mas­ter­mind­ed the Okla­homa City bomb­ing and BND may well have been manip­u­lat­ing Mohamed Atta.

We call atten­tion to Ernst Uhrlau, chief of police in Ham­burg dur­ing the time Ger­man intel­li­gence had the Ham­burg cell of 9/11 hijack­ers under sur­veil­lance, lat­er spe­cial advis­er to Chan­cel­lor Hel­mut Kohl on intel­li­gence mat­ters (the son of whose chief of staff may have mas­ter­mind­ed the Okla­homa City bomb­ing), and even­tu­al­ly head of the BND!
