Simp­son’s next-door neigh­bor; William’s grand­son Elbridge is Trump’s Deputy Sec­re­tary of Defense and a lead­ing Chi­na Hawk. As peo­ple with an oblig­a­tion to our descen­dants, we have the respon­si­bil­i­ty to pre­serve a record of the events lead­ing to the col­lapse of our social and polit­i­cal milieu.
