In numerous programs and lectures, we have discussed the important, devastatingly successively mind control programs engaged in by the military and CIA. Those programs were developed in reaction to downed American airmen who–after captivity–gave testimony that they had been involved in biological warfare attacks against China and North Korea during the war.
A superb book about Unit 731–the Japanese biological warfare unit during World War II–had a chapter in the British edition that was omitted in the American edition. (Sadly, the books is out of print, although both the British and American editions are available through used-book services. Mr. Emory heartily encourages listeners to obtain the book. Even the American edition–missing this key chapter–is worthwhile. Hopefully, a publisher will obtain the rights to the book and re-issue it. If so, we will enthusiastically promote the work.)
The chapter in the UK edition chronicles the investigation into the allegations of American BW use during the Korean War, including circumstantial evidence that Unit 731 veterans and methodology may well have been used in the alleged campaign. That chapter is altogether objective, avoiding ideological bias toward either side in the conflict.
Because of that, we found the omission of this chapter from the U.S. edition to be significant. As the brilliant Peter Dale Scott noted: “The cover-up obviates the conspiracy.” It is a matter of public record that Unit 731’s files were incorporated into the U.S. biological warfare program, and veterans of the Unit bequeathed their expertise to the Americans in exchange from immunity from prosecution for war crimes.

Key Points of Discussion and Analysis
1.–FTR#1172 begins with presentation of the scientific credentials of the International Scientific Commission investigating the allegations of biological warfare. ” . . . . Dr. Andrea Andreen, director of the Central Laboratory of the Hospitals Board of the City of Stockholm; Jean Malterre, Ingenieur-Agricole, director of the Central Laboratory of Animal Physiology, National College of Agriculture, Grignon, France; Dr. Oliviero Olivo, professor of Human Anatomy in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bologna, Italy; Dr. Samuel Pessoa, professor of Parasitology at the University of Sao Paolo and formerly director of public Health for the State of Sao Paolo; Dr. Nicolai Zhukov-Verezhnikov, professor of Bacteriology at, and Vice-President of, the Soviet Academy of Medicine and formerly chief medical expert at the Khabarovsk trial, and finally, Dr. Joseph Needham, FRS, Sir William Dunn Reader in Biochemistry, Cambridge University, formerly scientific counsellor, Her Britannic Majesty’s Embassy, Chungking and later director of the Department of Natural Sciences, UNESCO, (He became in 1966, the Master of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and is currently writing a history of science and civilization in China.) . . . .”
2.–The second program then takes up the findings of the ISC, resuming from the where we left off in FTR #1172. Note that Dr. Wen-kwei Chen had investigated some of Unit 731’s plague attacks during the Second World War, working for the Nationalist Chinese.
3.–Presenting the scientific evidence examined by the ISC, the authors note that numerous anomalies in epidemics and associated insect and mammalian vectors led the scientists to conclude that BW was the source of the pathologies.
4.–Apparent insect vectors appeared in unseasonably cold environments, some as cold as ‑10 degrees centigrade.
5.–Apparent mammalian vectors were also anomalous, with fully developed adults appearing exclusively, when immature rodents would be expected.
6.–By the same token, apparent insect vectors were anomalous, with fully developed adults, many ready to lay eggs appeared.
7.–Many of the insect and mammalian vectors appeared at times of the year that were not consistent with natural events.
8.–Infectious microorganisms were also anomalous, with types of bacteria appearing at times of the year and areas not consistent with observed natural patterns.
9.–Species of infectious organisms were anomalous, as well, with some never having occurred in the areas that were affected.
The introduction of FTR#1173 consists of reading and analysis of Tom O’Neill’s presentation of the career of one of the CIA’s most important MK-Ultra mind control operatives, which occurred in the immediate aftermath of the Korean War–1954.
Key Points of Discussion and analysis include:
1.–Shaver’s unusual behavior and demeanor at the initial scene of the crime: ” . . . . He was shirtless, covered in blood and scratches. Making no attempt to escape, he let the search party walk him to the edge of the highway. Bystanders described him as ‘dazed’ and ‘trance-like’ . . . .”
2.–Shaver’s apparent lack of awareness of the immediate circumstances of the crime: ” ‘What’s going on here?’ he asked. He didn’t seem drunk, but he couldn’t say where he was, how he’d gotten there, or whose blood was all over him. Meanwhile, the search party found Horton’s body in the gravel pit. Her neck was broken, her legs had been torn open, and she’s been raped. . . .”
3.–” . . . . Around four that morning, an Air Force marshal questioned Shaver and two doctors examined him, agreeing he wasn’t drunk. One later testified that he ‘was not normal . . . . he was very composed outside, which I did not expect him to be under these circumstances.’ . . .”
4.–Shaver didn’t recognize his own wife when she came to visit him. ” . . . . When his wife came to visit, he didn’t recognize her. . . .”
5.–Initially, he believed someone else committed the crime. ” . . . . He gave his first statement at 10:30 a.m., adamant that another man was responsible: he could summon an image of a stranger with blond hair and tattoos. . . .”
6.–Eventually, he signed a statement taking responsibility: ” . . . . After the Air Force marshal returned to the jailhouse, however, Shaver signed a second statement taking full responsibility. Though he still didn’t remember anything, he reasoned that he must have done it. . . .”
7.–Enter Jolly West: ” . . . . Two months later, in September, Shaver’s memories still hadn’t returned. The base hospital commander told Jolly West to perform an evaluation: was he legally sane at the time of the murder? Shaver spent the next two weeks under West’s supervision . . . While Shaver was under–with West injecting more truth serum to ‘deepen the trance’–Shaver recalled the events of that night. He confessed to killing Horton. . . .”
8.–West was a defense witness who, instead, appears to have aided the prosecution: ” . . . . At the trial, West argued that Shaver’s truth-serum confession was more valid than any other. And West was testifying for the defense . . . .”
9.–Shaver’s behavior at the trial is further suggestive of mind control: ” . . . . One newspaper account said he ‘sat through the strenuous sessions like a man in a trance,’ saying nothing, never rising to stretch or smoke, though he was a known chain-smoker. ‘Some believe it’s an act,’ the paper said, ‘others believe his demeanor is real. . . .”
10–Shaver’s medical records at Lackland Air Force base had vanished. ” . . . . But, curiously, all the records for patients in 1954 had been maintained, with one exception: the file for last names beginning with ‘Sa’ through ‘St’ had vanished. . . .”
11.–West posed leading questions to Shaver, who denied having ever taken the victim’s clothes off. ” . . . . West had used leading questions to walk the entranced Shaver through the crime. ‘Tell me about when you took your clothes off, Jimmy,’ he said. And trying to prove that Shaver had repressed memories: ‘Jimmy, do you remember when something like this happened before?’ Or: ‘After you took her clothes off, what did you do?’ ‘I never did take her clothes off,’ Shaver said. . . .”
12.–The interview was divided into thirds, the middle third of which was not recorded! ” . . . . The interview [with Shaver] was divided into thirds. The middle third, for some reason, wasn’t recorded. When the record picked up, the manuscript said, ‘Shaver is crying. He has been confronted with all the facts repeatedly.’ . . .”

It is a matter of public record that Unit 731’s files were incorporated into the U.S. biological warfare program, and veterans of the Unit bequeathed their expertise to the Americans in exchange from immunity from prosecution for war crimes.
Key Points of Discussion and Analysis
1.–The program begins with discussion of a Telepress dispatch from Burma alleging that key veterans of Unit 731–including former commanding officer general Shiro Ishii–were dispatched to Korea with ship-borne equipment to wage biological warfare.
2.–Next, the program details the considerable interest on the part of the U.S. command structure in biological warfare–an interest that grew considerably as the war progressed.
3.–A British veteran of the Korean War discussed suspicious activity by an American military unit as Chinese troops were advancing on UN forces, following that country’s entry into the war. The soldier recounted: How the U.S. personnel were placing feathers in buildings, while wearing face masks; how he had a suspicious booster shot shortly after encountering the American troops; seeing hundreds of dead Chinese troops in a village, who did not appear to have been shot or wounded in any way.
4.–The authors note that Unit 731 often used BW to attack supply routes and that the introduction of Soviet-built MIGs into the war–forcing U.S. B‑29s to operate at night–may have been a motivation for the alleged BW attacks.
5.–The program concludes with presentation of the scientific credentials of the International Scientific Commission investigating the allegations of biological warfare. ” . . . . The program kicks off with a look at a full-page advertisement from The New York Times pledging resistance to Trump administration attempts at electoral nullification. The organization behind the ad is RefuseFascism.org. We note the first two signatories:
1.–Cornel West–a member of the [Bernie] Sanders Institute–advised after the 2016 Democratic National Convention that the Sanders voters had no choice but to cast their ballot for Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate.
2.–Noam Chomsky–whose work on generative linguistics (which established him as an academician) was financed largely by Navy and Air Force Intelligence–helped to neutralize recognition of the decisive role in the Vietnam War of JFK’s assassination. JFK was in the process of pulling the U.S. out of Vietnam. That was among the reasons he was killed. With his behavior following the Oliver Stone opus “JFK,” Noam Chomsky did much to perpetuate the institutionalized fascism that has possessed the U.S. since before the end of World War II. Generative linguistics proved most useful in teaching personnel at the Monterey Defense Language Institute, one of whose graduates was Lee Harvey Oswald.
On the back of the front section of that same edition of The New York Times is an obituary of Seymour Topping. A luminary of the “Gray Lady” for decades, he was Southeast Asian Bureau chief from 1963 until 1966, during the time that JFK was murdered and the Vietnam War, as a result, gained full momentum.
Much of the program sets forth material from a consummately important recent book: Chaos: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties by Tom O’Neill.
O’Neill develops a strong, albeit circumstantial, case that the criminal activities of the Manson Family were the core of a domestic intelligence operation. Specifically, it appears that the Manson “op” was a key element of a domestic Phoenix program–an assassination and terror campaign in the South during the Vietnam War.
Designed to “win hearts and minds,” the Phoenix Program was realized by the CIA, and employed “false flag” terrorist incidents and the deliberate murders of non-combatants that were blamed on the Vietcong and North Vietnamese.
” . . . . A Special Forces soldier, Anthony Herbert, the single most decorated combat veteran of Vietnam, published a bestselling book, Soldier, that detailed typical orders from his Phoenix superiors: “They wanted me to take charge of execution teams that wiped out entire families and tried to make it appear as though the Viet Cong had done it themselves. The rationale was that the Viet Cong would see that other Viet Cong had killed their own and . . . make allegiance with us. The good guys. “. . . .” Chaos: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties by Tom O’Neill; p. 228.
Exemplifying the fusion of CIA, Operation Phoenix and the Los Angeles law enforcement establishment, Lieutenant Edward Herrmann helped create a counterinsurgency program in L.A. and California as a whole, integrated and coordinated with federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
Edward Herrman:
1.–Had a doctorate in psychology.
2.–Specialized in quelling insurgencies.
3.–Developed one of the first computer systems to track criminals and predict violent outbreaks in cities.
4.–Worked for many U.S. intelligence and military agencies, including: the Air Force, the Secret Service, the Treasury Department, the President’s Office of Science and Technology, the Institute for Defense Analysis, the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office, the Defense Department’s Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
5.–Appears to have worked for the Phoenix Program in Vietnam, using USAID for a cover.
6.–Worked for numerous defense contractors including: Electro-Dash Optical Systems, System Development Corporation and Control Data Corporation.
The concluding portion of the program consists of reading and analysis of O’Neill’s presentation of the career of one of the CIA’s most important MK-Ultra mind control operatives.
Louis Jolyon West was Jack Ruby’s psychiatrist, and presented the untenable hypothesis that Ruby killed Oswald because he had a brief psychomotor epileptic event in the basement of the Dallas jail. In fact, the evidence suggests strongly that West had helped to erase Ruby’s memory of having killed Oswald.
After detailing West’s involvement with Sidney Gottlieb of the CIA and one of the central figures of its mind control programs, the broadcast sets forth the murder of Chere Jo Horton, a three-year-old girl whose mutilation, rape and murder were pinned on 29-year-old Jimmie Shaver.
An obvious victim of mind control, apparently implemented in considerable measure by Louis Jolyon West, Shaver was programmed to take responsibility for the killing, despite enormous contradictions in the evidence.
Key Points of Discussion and analysis include:

In “The Death of A Salesman” Arthur Miller (speaking through Mrs. Loman, Willy’s widow) said “Attention must be paid to such a person! You can’t eat the orange and throw the peel away!” Before moving on from FTR #‘s 1107 and 1108, an aspect of the suspicious death of author Iris Chang bears emphasis: The people around her, friends, husband and family, attributed her “suicide” to psychological disturbances, despite evidence that she was the focal point of hostile action by intelligence agents and fascists, as well as subjected to forms of mind control. Ms. Chang said her problems were “external”–those around her felt they were “internal.” Her friend since college, writer Paula Kamen felt that Iris’ fertility treatments may have lay at the core of her problems. In FTR #‘s 1107 and 1108, we compared Iris’ experiences with those of Rita Katz, who helped investigate the 9/11 money trail that led to the Operation Green Quest SAAR network raids. When the Agents of Darkness gather to visit retribution on someone seen as a transgressor, it is, in effect, collaborative to increase the target’s isolation and consequent vulnerability by seeing them as “sick.” Rita Katz wasn’t experiencing what she did because of “fertility treatments.”
“The Seagraves have uncovered one of the Biggest Secrets of the Twentieth Century”–Iris Chang, quoted on the front cover of Gold Warriors.
Late last year (2019), the city of San Jose (California) opened a park dedicated to the memory of the late author Iris Chang.
These broadcasts update and supplement discussion of Iris Chang’s alleged “suicide,” highlighted in FTR #509. Of particular significance is the fact that the Golden Lily loot and the decisive political and economic factors stemming from the material covered in Gold Warriors, the other books by Sterling and Peggy Seagrave, and Ms. Chang’s “The Rape of Nanking” have enormous and ongoing significance.
(FTR #‘s 427, 428, 446, 451, 501, 509, 688, 689 deal with the subject of the Golden Lily program successfully implemented by the Japanese to loot Asia. That loot was merged with Nazi gold, became the Black Eagle Trust, which not only financed Cold War covert operations but underwrote much of the post-war global economy. Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos recovered a tremendous amount of the Golden Lily loot, some of which was shared with the Japanese, some with the U.S. and much of it kept by Marcos. The Marcos “Black Gold” figures prominently in the deep politics surrounding the death of Ms. Chang.)
In November of 2004, author and investigator Iris Chang was found dead of an allegedly self-inflicted gunshot wound. This program examines the circumstances surrounding her death.
In her landmark book “The Rape of Nanking,” Ms. Chang documented the Japanese atrocities which gave that occupation its name. The rape of Nanking saw the beginning of the Japanese Golden Lily program, which yielded the spectacular looted wealth and postwar economic and political intrigue documented in the Seagraves’ incisive text “Gold Warriors.”
The “Rape of Nanking” drew much hostile reaction from the Japanese right and related forces: . . . . At the same time, torrents of hate mail came in, Brett [her husband] said. ‘Iris is sensitive, but she got charged up,’ he recalled. ‘When anybody questioned the validity of what she wrote, she would respond with overwhelming evidence to back it up. She’s very much a perfectionist. It was hard for her not to react every single time.’ Most of the attacks came from Japanese ultranationalists. ‘We saw cartoons where she was portrayed as this woman with a great big mouth,‘Brett said. ‘She got used to the fact that there is a Web site called ‘Iris Chang and Her Lies.’ She would just laugh.’ But friends say Iris began to voice concerns for her safety. She believed her phone was tapped. She described finding threatening notes on her car. She said she was confronted by a man who said, ‘You will NOT continue writing this.’ She used a post office box, never her home address, for mail. ‘There are a fair number of people who don’t take kindly to what she wrote in The Rape of Nanking.’ Brett said, ‘so she’s always been very, very private about our family life.’ . . . .”
(As we have seen in–among other programs–FTR #‘s 813, 905, 969, 970, the Japanese “ultranationalists” were put right back in power by the American occupation forces, as the Seagraves document in Gold Warriors, as well as The Yamato Dynasty.)
At the time of her death, Ms. Chang was researching a book chronicling the experiences of survivors of the Bataan Death March—the brutal persecution of American POW’s captured in the siege of Bataan in the Philippines during World War II. Many of the survivors were shipped to Japan to work as slave laborers for major Japanese corporations.
Many of these corporations have had profound connections with their American transnational counterparts, and were the beneficiaries of American investment capital in the run-up to World War II. More importantly, many of these corporations are a principal element of the US/Japanese commercial relationship today.
Lawsuits in California targeted those Japanese corporations for compensation for the slave labor wrung from the Battaan POWs. The State Department sided with the Japanese and Judge Vaughn Walker ruled against the Bataan survivors.
Perhaps most importantly, in-depth coverage of the Bataan Death March would uncover the Black Eagle Trust and the fundamental role in post-World War II American and Japanese politics of the vast wealth looted by Japan during World War II. That purloined “black gold” is inextricably linked with U.S. covert operations and is at the epicenter of postwar Japanese power politics and economy.
In addition to the Rape of Nanking and the Bataan Death March survivors, Ms. Chang’s research cut across some deep political dynamics connected to then-President George W. Bush’s administration and his business dealings.
George W. Bush:
1.–Was using U.S. Naval forces to secure Japanese war gold from the Philippines for his personal blind trust, as well as shoring up American reserves.
2.–Was deeply involved with Harken Energy, which may well have been a corporate front for the acquisition and recycling of Golden Lily loot and Bormann money.
3.–Was heir to a deep political heritage involving, among others, the family of William Stamps Farish, the head of Standard Oil of New Jersey during the time it manifested its cartel agreements with I.G. Farben. Dubya benefited from his father’s legacy of involvement with the milieu of Douglas MacArthur. George H.W. Bush’s deep political connections in the Philippines include the involvement of both Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and Trump and GOP trickster Roger Stone with Ferdinand Marcos while the dictator was involved with the recovery of Golden Lily loot.
4. Served as a director of Harken when the head of the firm was Alan Quasha, son of William Quasha, an attorney for the CIA-linked Nugan Hand Bank, a focal point of AFA #25. William had been Alien Property custodian in the Philippines under Douglas MacArthur, which placed him in a position to greatly influence the “Alien Property” placed there by the Japanese under Golden Lily.
There is evidence to suggest that Ms. Chang’s death may have resulted from mind control, administered to neutralize her as a threat to those clandestine economic and national security relationships that have governed US/Japanese affairs in the postwar period. Ms. Chang had received threats ever since the publication of her landmark text The Rape of Nanking.
(For more about the government’s mind control programs, see, among other broadcasts, AFA #‘s 5–7.)
She appears to have been under surveillance, and her “suicide” note alleged that a suspicious internment in a psychiatric hospital may have been initiated at the instigation of the elements opposed to a ruffling of the Japanese/US feathers. In addition to threatening to expose a dominant factor in U.S. covert operations, a key element in the postwar American and global economy, Ms. Chang’s investigation of Japanese war crimes was an irritant to the Japanese establishment that had thrived on the gold and other wealth looted from occupied countries since World War II.
Ms. Chang’s “suicide” note read, in part: “. . . .There are aspects of my experience in Louisville that I will never understand. . . . . I can never shake my belief that I was being recruited, and later persecuted, by forces more powerful than I could have imagined. Whether it was the CIA or some other organization I will never know. As long as I am alive, these forces will never stop hounding me. Days before I left for Louisville I had a deep foreboding about my safety. I sensed suddenly threats to my own life: an eerie feeling that I was being followed in the streets, the white van parked outside my house, damaged mail arriving at my P.O. Box. I believe my detention at Norton Hospital was the government’s attempt to discredit me. . . .”
At the conclusion of the program, we review Rita Katz’s experiences after she helped break the investigation into the SAAR network that became known as Operation Green Quest. That investigation overlapped George W. Bush’s firm Harken Energy. Note the similarity between Iris Chang’s experiences and those of Rita Katz. ” . . . . White vans and SUV’s with dark windows appeared near all the homes of the SAAR investigators. All agents, some of whom were very experienced with surveillance, knew they were being followed. So was I. I felt that I was being followed everywhere and watched at home, in the supermarket, on the way to work . . . and for what? . Now—I was being watched 24/7. It’s a terrible sensation to know that you have no privacy. . . . and no security. That strange clicking of the phones that wasn’t there before. . . the oh-so-crudely opened mail at home in the office. . . and the same man I spied in my neighborhood supermarket, who was also on the train I took to Washington a week ago. . . Life can be miserable when you know that someone’s always breathing down your neck. . . .”
In conversations with friends, Ms. Chang noted that her problems were “external,” not in her head. She also felt she was being “recruited” to become a “Manchurian Candidate” for the CIA–i.e. being subjected to mind control. ” . . . . in her last year she became paranoid about everything from viruses attacking her computer to attempts by the government to “recruit” her, a la The Manchurian Candidate. . . .
Program Highlights Include: The alleged role of Japanese war criminal Tsuji Masanobu in aiding the Marcos gold recoveries in the Philippines; the role of Tsuji Masanobu in implementing the Bataan Death March; William Stamps Farish III’s stewardship of Dubya’s blind trust, for which Philippines war gold was apparently being sought; William Stamps Farish (II) and his stewardship of Standard Oil of New Jersey, when it collaborated with I.G. Farben; George H.W. Bush’s association with the descendants of American corporate figures who collaborated with the Third Reich.
Tom O’Neill has written a book documenting the involvement of elements of the intelligence community with the operations and milieu of the Manson Family.
Those intelligence connections appear to have led to fundamental distortions in the behavior of the courts, law enforcement and correctional system with regard to the operations of the Manson Family.
Adolf Hitler: “National Socialism . . . . is more even than a religion: it is the will to create man anew.”
In numerous programs, we have touched on eugenics and some of the outcomes of eugenics philosophy, including the growth of the Nazi extermination programs from the Knauer case. Some of these programs are: FTR #‘s 32, 117, 124, 140, 141, 534, 664, and 908. A look at future possibilities of eugenics–something that we discuss in this program–are highlighted in FTR #909 and AFA #39.
Important book on the subject include The War Against the Weak, by Edwin Black and The Nazi Connection by Stephan Kuhl. In FTR #1013, we recapped Peter Levenda’s prescient analysis of the overlap between eugenics and fascist iterations of anti-immigrant sentiment. In this broadcast, eugenics, anti-immigration sentiment, genetic engineering and the “immortality-striving” Transhumanist movement are highlighted, noting the progression from the fascism of the 1930’s to imminent steps that would augment the ascension of a truly “superhuman” elite, to the ultimately lethal detriment of the rest of society.
We begin with prognostications about the future.
Professor Stephen Hawking has predicted that gene-editing techniques will lead to the creation of superhumans, who will supersede those who do not benefit from such technologies. ” . . . . The scientist presented the possibility that genetic engineering could create a new species of superhuman that could destroy the rest of humanity. . . . In ‘Brief Answers to the Big Questions,’ Hawking’s final thoughts on the universe, the physicist suggested wealthy people would soon be able to choose to edit genetic makeup to create superhumans with enhanced memory, disease resistance, intelligence and longevity. . . . ‘Once such superhumans appear, there will be significant political problems with unimproved humans, who won’t be able to compete,’ he wrote. ‘Presumably, they will die out, or become unimportant. Instead, there will be a race of self-designing beings who are improving at an ever-increasing rate.’ . . .”
The observations of Professor Hawking concerning the role of genetic engineering in the ascension of superhumans is the Silicon Valley-based Transhumanist movement. ” . . . . Thiel and other eccentric, wealthy tech-celebrities, such as Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, have taken the next step to counteract that inequality – by embarking on a quest to live forever. . . .Thiel and many like him have been investing in research on life extension, part of transhumanism. Drawing on fields as diverse as neurotechnology, artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering and philosophy, transhumanists believe that the limitations of the human body and mortality can be transcended by machines and technology. The ultimate aim is immortality. Some believe this is achievable by 2045. . . .”
Michael Anissimov–a previous media officer at the Thiel-funded Machine Intelligence Research Institute–published a white nationalist manifesto. In a 2013 interview. ” . . . . Thiel himself is a Donald Trump supporter. A one-time associate Michael Anissimov, previous media officer at Machine Intelligence Research Institute, a Thiel-funded AI think tank, has published a white nationalist manifesto. In a 2013 interview, Anissimov said that there were already significant differences in intelligence between the races, and that a transhumanist society would inevitably lead to ‘people lording it over others in a way that has never been seen before in history’. It doesn’t take much to guess who would be doing the ‘lording’. . . .”
The identity of the people doing the “lording” may be gleaned from the following: ” . . . . Zoltan Istvan, the transhumanist candidate for governor of California, told Tech Insider that ‘a lot of the most important work in longevity is coming from a handful of the billionaires…around six or seven of them’. . . .”
Benito Mussolini defined fascism as “corporatism,” and labeled his system “The Corporate State.” In that context, it is instructive to weigh transhumanism: ” . . . . You basically can’t separate transhumanism from capitalism. An idea that’s so enthusiastically pursued by Musk and Peter Thiel, and by the founders of Google, is one that needs to be seen as a mutation of capitalism, not a cure for it.’ . . . . If those who form society in the age of transhumanism are men like Musk and Thiel, it’s probable that this society will have few social safety nets. There will be an uneven rate of technological progress globally; even a post-human society can replicate the unequal global wealth distribution which we see today. In some cities and countries, inhabitants may live forever, while in others the residents die of malnutrition. If people don’t die off, the environmental consequences – from widespread natural resource devastation to unsustainable energy demands – would be widespread. . . . ”
These are auguries of a future-to-come. A look at the present suggests that these prognostications are not unrealistic.
Nazis/white supremacists are already distorting genetic research to suit their own ends. Not surprisingly, academics in the field have not been enthusiastic about engaging them. In the past, genetic research has been supportive of eugenics philosophy.
” . . . . Nowhere on the agenda of the annual meeting of the American Society of Human Genetics, being held in San Diego this week, is a topic plaguing many of its members: the recurring appropriation of the field’s research in the name of white supremacy. ‘Sticking your neck out on political issues is difficult,’ said Jennifer Wagner, a bioethicist and president of the group’s social issues committee, who had sought to convene a panel on the racist misuse of genetics and found little traction. But the specter of the field’s ignominious past, which includes support for the American eugenics movement, looms large for many geneticists in light of today’s white identity politics. They also worry about how new tools that are allowing them to home in on the genetic basis of hot-button traits like intelligence will be misconstrued to fit racist ideologies. . . .”
A 14-word posting on the Department of Homeland Security website has raised eyebrows. We believe it is an example of dog-whistling by fascist/Nazi elements inside of the DHS. The “Fourteen Words” were minted by Order member and Alan Berg murder getaway driver David Lane. “88” is a well-known clandestine Nazi salute. In the immediate aftermath of World War II, using the Nazi salute “Heil Hitler” was banned. To circumvent that, Nazis said “88,” because H is the eighth letter in the alphabet.
The numbers 14 and 88 are often combined by Nazis.
The title of the DHS posting is: “We Must Secure The Border And Build The Wall To Make America Safe Again.” The 14 words of David Lane are: “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.”

It comes as no surprise that Ian M. Smith–a former DHS Trump appointee–had documented links with white supremacists.
Ian Smith was not alone. John Feere and Julie Kirchener–both hard line anti-immigration activists–have been hired by Team Trump. ” . . . . Jon Feere, a former legal policy analyst for the Center for Immigration Studies, or CIS, has been hired as an adviser to Thomas D. Homan, the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to Homeland Security spokesman David Lapan. At Customs and Border Protection, Julie Kirchner, the former executive director of the Federation for American Immigration Reform, or FAIR, has been hired as an adviser to Customs and Border Protection acting Commissioner Kevin McAleenan, said Lapan. The hiring of Feere and Kirchner at the federal agencies has alarmed immigrants’ rights activists. CIS and FAIR are think tanks based in Washington that advocate restricting legal and illegal immigration. The two organizations were founded by John Tanton, a retired Michigan ophthalmologist who has openly embraced eugenics, the science of improving the genetic quality of the human population by encouraging selective breeding and at times, advocating for the sterilization of genetically undesirable groups. . . .”
The Federation for Immigration Reform has been partly funded by the Pioneer Fund, one of many organizations that operated in favor of the eugenics policy of Nazi Germany. “. . . . Between 1985 and 1994, FAIR received around $1.2 million in grants from the Pioneer Fund. The Pioneer Fund is a eugenicist organization that was started in 1937 by men close to the Nazi regime who wanted to pursue “race betterment” by promoting the genetic lines of American whites. Now led by race scientist J. Philippe Rushton, the fund continues to back studies intended to reveal the inferiority of minorities to whites. . . .”
Many of the perpetrators of mayhem in our society have been followers of right-wing/fascist ideologies, a fact that has not received due notice. In FTR #1011, we noted that Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was a “Sovereign Citizen” and Dimitrios Pagourtzis (the accused Sante Fe, Texas school shooter) was influenced by online fascist ideology. Accused Parkland High School shooter Nikolas Cruz was also influenced by Nazi ideology, as were Columbine shooters Harris and Klebold. Damon Pashilk–accused of setting the 2016 Clayton fire–was also influenced by Nazi ideology. (One of his Facebook posts is pictured at right.) In FTR #1016, we learned that Jarrod Ramos, accused of a mass gunfire-killing at an Annapolis, Maryland, newspaper, was a follower of the neo-Confederate movement. Now we learn that the ironically-named Forrest Gordon Clark–accused of setting the Holy Fire in Southern California–is (like Paddock) a sovereign citizen. With California suffering the effects of drought and with the Golden State in Trump’s political crosshairs, we should be prepared for more “leaderless resistance” wildfire terrorism from fascists.
On Tuesday, June 5th, KFJC-FM will broadcast an eight-hour memorial program about the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy on the 50th anniversary of that event. Beginning at 2pm, Pacific time and concluding at 10pm, much of the broadcast will feature AFA #9, the description for which is below. The program was recorded on 6/5/1985 (the 17th anniversary of the killing). The broadcast features significant analysis from The Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy by John C. Christian and William Turner.
In FTR #991, we detailed the esoteric fascist/Nazi philosophy of Hare Krishna cult founder and head guru A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. On 1/29/1967, Prabhupada and his cult were the beneficiaries of monies generated by a concert and dance featuring the leading San Francisco psychedelic-era rock bands. The event also featured participation by LSD guru Timothy Leary. Leary’s activities and career are inextricably linked with the CIA.
