Andreas Strassmeier, “John Doe #2” and the Underground Reich: Observations on the 20th Anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing

As is the case with so much of recent Amer­i­can his­to­ry, the offi­cial ver­sion of the Okla­homa City bomb­ing obscures the fact that there was much more to this event than we have been told. Of par­tic­u­lar inter­est is the tes­ti­mo­ny of ATF under­cov­er infor­mant Car­ol Howe that Andreas Strass­meier, the son of Ger­man Chan­cel­lor Hel­mut Kohl’s chief of staff Gun­ther Strass­meier, was the mas­ter­mind of the bomb­ing and that Tim­o­thy McVeigh was his pro­tege. Howe passed a poly­graph test on her tes­ti­mo­ny. Strass­meier bears a strong resem­blance to the com­pos­ite sketch­es of John Doe #2, seen by eye­wit­ness­es in the com­pa­ny of McVeigh pri­or to the bomb­ing. Strass­meier and John Doe #2 are pic­tured at right. This pro­gram begins by revis­it­ing “The Adven­tures of Eddie the Friend­ly Spook” Snow­den. The “Snow­denistas,” the GOP and the vio­lent, para­mil­i­tary, seces­sion­ist right con­sti­tute a polit­i­cal con­tin­u­um, the lib­er­al views of most of Snow­den’s sup­port­ers, notwith­stand­ing. Snow­den’s leak­ing jour­nal­ist of choice–Citizen Greenwald–continues his pat­tern of frat­er­niz­ing and pro­fes­sion­al­ly defend­ing Nazis and White Suprema­cists. Ebay, owned by Snow­den’s finan­cial angel–Pierre Omidyar–is a sup­port­er of ALEC, one of the most impor­tant of the far-right polit­i­cal engines. Under­scor­ing the extrem­ist nature of the con­tem­po­rary Repub­li­can Par­ty, we note that Texas politi­cians, includ­ing Gov­er­nor-elect Greg Abbott have been explic­it­ly sup­port­ive of para­mil­i­tary vig­i­lantes oper­at­ing along the Mex­i­can bor­der, some of which were stock­pil­ing ammo­ni­um nitrate. Dou­glas MacK­in­non (a for­mer Rea­gan and George H.W. Bush speech­writer) is advo­cat­ing the seces­sion of a num­ber of states to form a new coun­try called “Rea­gan.” Hav­ing grand­stand­ed as an “anti-ter­ror” bul­wark, for­mer Bush (II) Attor­ney Gen­er­al John Ashcroft is prac­tic­ing law. One of his clients is weapons deal­er Vik­tor Bout, who sup­plied weapons to Al Qae­da.

As our title indi­cates, this pro­gram brings a num­ber of paths of inquiry up to date, as well as high­light­ing some new points of inter­est. Begin­ning with the onslaught of ISIS–The Islam­ic State of Syr­ia and Iraq–the broad­cast sets forth infor­ma­tion gen­er­al­ly ignored in media cov­er­age of the event. Chief of Sau­di intel­li­gence Prince Bandar–nicknamed “Ban­dar Bush” for his close rela­tion­ship to the Bush family–may well have been the dri­ving force behind the Iraqi and Syr­i­an Sun­ni jihadists com­pris­ing ISIS. Per­haps that occa­sioned Ban­dar’s recent replace­ment as head of Sau­di intel­li­gence. Much of the pro­gram focus­es on the for­ma­tion of lethal right-wing mil­i­tary for­ma­tions in both the Unit­ed States and Ger­many. The recent stand­off between Cliv­en Bundy’s para­mil­i­tary sup­port­ers and fed­er­al agents por­tends a more expand­ed and dead­ly mili­tia and neo-seces­sion­ist land­scape. The Bundyites did not oper­ate in a vac­u­um, with ide­o­log­i­cal and jour­nal­is­tic sup­port from the GOP and its amen cho­rus in the media. A clan­des­tine army in ear­ly 1950’s Ger­many com­posed of Wehrma­cht and Waf­fen SS vet­er­ans enjoyed the sup­port of the Ade­nau­r­er gov­ern­ment and the Gehlen-dom­i­nat­ed BND. It was net­worked with the SS–still clear­ly active in the 1950’s.

Snowden–whom we think is being direct­ed by BND (as well as by an ele­ment of CIA)–engaged in his “op” in order to jus­ti­fy a pre-arranged eco­nom­ic offen­sive against the Amer­i­can IT sec­tor. As we not­ed in our series on Eddie the Friend­ly Spook, the Snow­den “op” is an act of eco­nom­ic and polit­i­cal war­fare against the Unit­ed States. Now, we note an arti­cle that chron­i­cles seri­ous dam­age to the U.S. high-tech econ­o­my as a result of Snow­den’s “op.”

“Paulistinian Libertarian Organization” Killers: Leaderless Resistance Claims More Victims

Once again, the “lead­er­less resis­tance” strat­e­gy has claimed vic­tims, with the Cliv­en Bundy Freiko­rps fig­ur­ing among the ide­o­log­i­cal assig­na­tions of the Las Vegas killers. Note­wor­thy here is the fact that Jer­ad and Aman­da Miller were sup­port­ers of Ron Paul (at right), Eddie the Friend­ly Spook Snow­den’s Pres­i­den­tial can­di­date of choice. Nazi fel­low-trav­el­er Glenn Green­wald, Snow­den’s jour­nal­is­tic leak­er of choice, ran legal inter­fer­ence for the “lead­er­less resis­tance” strat­e­gy as an attor­ney.

In the long FTR series on L’Af­faire Snow­den, we not­ed that all of the play­ers were out­right fas­cists and/or expo­nents of cor­po­ratist eco­nom­ic the­o­ry. That includes Pierre Omid­yar, Nazi fel­low-trav­el­er Glenn Green­wald’s finan­cial angel and backer of First Look media. Tout­ing the lais­sez-faire eco­nom­ics of the GOP and oth­er cor­po­ratist ele­ments around the world, Omid­yar has also helped to finance the rise of fas­cist ele­ments abroad, includ­ing assist­ing in the ascent of the OUN/B suc­ces­sor forces in the Ukraine, as well as Naren­dra Modi, heir to the RSS Hin­du fas­cists that spawned his BJP. Julian Assange, his polit­i­cal idol Rand Paul, Rand Paul’s sup­port­er Ralph Nad­er and Snow­den him­self all fig­ure strong­ly into this unsa­vory polit­i­cal land­scape.

Prime Min­is­ter-elect Naren­dra Modi, with a polit­i­cal back­ground in a Hin­du nation­al­ist par­ty with strong fas­cist roots, is now in charge of the world’s sec­ond largest coun­try and the world’s largest democ­ra­cy. Naren­dra Modi belonged to the RSS, an orga­ni­za­tion with an his­tor­i­cal affin­i­ty for Nazism and fas­cism. Cap­i­tal­iz­ing on anti-Mus­lim fer­vor in India, RSS has gen­er­at­ed much grav­i­tas. Modi has been impli­cat­ed in com­plic­i­ty in lethal anti-Mus­lim riot­ing in India. In addi­tion to anti-colo­nial sen­ti­ment that pit­ted Indi­an nation­al­ists against the British Raj pri­or to World War II, Nazism and Hin­du phi­los­o­phy also found com­mon ground in ele­ments of “Aryan” mys­ti­cism. Many ele­ments of the Brah­min caste also found affin­i­ty with the elit­ist and anti-demo­c­ra­t­ic phi­los­o­phy of Mus­solin­i’s fas­cism as well.

In addi­tion to detail­ing the maneu­ver­ing sur­round­ing the abun­dant nat­ur­al gas reserves in Ukraine, the pro­gram high­lights efforts by the EU and U.S. fos­sil fuel inter­ests to manip­u­late the Ukrain­ian cri­sis to their advan­tage. Access­ing excel­lent work by Robert Par­ry, the broad­cast under­scores the Orwellian cov­er­age of the cri­sis by U.S. and Ger­man media. Delib­er­ate­ly avoid­ing dis­cus­sion of the Nazi char­ac­ter of the Ukrain­ian pro­vi­sion­al gov­ern­ment, West­ern media have obfus­cat­ed the delib­er­ate burn­ing alive of pro-Russ­ian pro­test­ers in the East­ern part of the coun­try. Appar­ent­ly assist­ed by ele­ments of Amer­i­can and Ger­man intel­li­gence, the neo-Nazi OUN/B suc­ces­sors in Ukraine are affil­i­at­ed with The Order, best known for hav­ing mur­dered radio talk show host Alan Berg.

Updat­ing and intro­duc­ing a num­ber of sto­ries, this pro­gram notes the death of Nazi art deal­er Cor­nelius Gurlitt, high­light­ed in FTR #791. After detail­ing the back­ground and polit­i­cal con­nec­tions of Fra­zier Glenn Miller, accused of killing three peo­ple at a Jew­ish Com­mu­ni­ty Cen­ter in Kansas, the pro­gram high­lights the grow­ing con­trol of Amer­i­can media out­lets by doc­tri­naire fas­cist orga­ni­za­tions with a her­itage evolv­ing from World War II. In addi­tion to the spec­tac­u­lar growth of pub­lish­ing giant Ber­tels­mann, with a Nazi and SS her­itage, the broad­cast under­scores the con­trol of the Al-Jazeera net­work by the Mus­lim Broth­er­hood. The curi­ous adver­tis­ing behav­ior of BMW, con­trolled by the heirs of Joseph Goebbels is set forth, as well.
