FTR #919 The Trumpenkampfverbande, Part 2: German Ostpolitik, Part 2

Con­tin­u­ing our analy­sis of Don­ald Trump as a polit­i­cal ani­mal, the pro­gram returns to the sub­ject of tra­di­tion­al Ger­man “Ost­poli­tik.” As set forth in FTR #918, Ger­many has–for centuries–sought to sta­bi­lize its rela­tion­ship with Rus­sia in order to fur­ther its geopo­lit­i­cal hege­mon­ic goals. Begin­ning with the sub­ject of for­mer Trump cam­paign man­ag­er Paul Manafort’s work for the Rus­sia-allied Yanukovich gov­ern­ment in Ukraine, we note that avail­able evi­dence points to Man­afort as a cat’s paw for covert action and regime change. His clients in the past include for­mer Philip­pine dic­ta­tor Fer­di­nand Mar­cos, who did not share the Gold­en Lily wealth to the sat­is­fac­tion of the Unit­ed States and was sub­se­quent­ly over­thrown in a U.S.-backed coup. After review­ing Ger­man Ost­poli­tik as artic­u­lat­ed in the ear­ly 1950s by the Ade­nauer gov­ern­ment in Ger­many and Under­ground Reich Fifth Col­umn ele­ments in the U.S., the pro­gram notes that the basic goals of that ear­ly 1950s man­i­fes­ta­tion of the pol­i­cy have either been reached or are under devel­op­ment: a Ger­man-dom­i­nat­ed uni­fied Europe, a Ger­man-dom­i­nat­ed Euro­pean mil­i­tary struc­ture; a Ger­man-dom­i­nat­ed EU/Russian/Eurasian eco­nom­ic union stretch­ing from “Lis­bon to Vladi­vos­tok,” and the grad­ual piv­ot from the U.S. to Rus­sia as a crit­i­cal Ger­man ally (as reflect­ed in an impor­tant recent Ger­man poll.) The pro­gram notes that the com­plex, alto­geth­er opaque Trump real estate empire appar­ent­ly fronts for, among oth­er inter­ests, pow­er­ful Ger­man cor­po­ra­tions, fam­i­lies and indi­vid­u­als. Those inter­ests, as we have seen in FTR #305, are under the con­trol of the remark­able and dead­ly Bor­mann cap­i­tal net­work. Key Trump for­eign pol­i­cy advis­er Joseph E. Schmitz is obsessed “with all things Steuben” and “all things Ger­man” accord­ing to a for­mer col­league at the Pen­ta­gon. Schmitz’s broth­er John P. Schmitz is works with dom­i­nant Ger­man cor­po­ra­tions, plac­ing him in the same cor­po­rate land­scape as Trump and his real estate empire. It is our view that Trump’s pro­nounce­ments about Rus­sia, Ukraine and NATO are sim­i­lar in func­tion­al intent to the “Open Let­ter to Stal­in” pub­lished in the “Buerg­er Zeitung.” His stances in this regard are meant to pre­cip­i­tate what pro-Ade­nauer media sources termed “a bid­ding war” between the U.S. and Rus­sia, with Ger­many as the ben­e­fi­cia­ry of a ” . . . heat­ed atmos­phere of an auc­tion room where two eager oppo­nents out­bid each oth­er. . . .” Pro­gram High­lights Include: Review of John P. Schmitz’s rela­tion­ship to the Robert Bosch Foun­da­tion; review of the Bosch Foundation’s links to the Carl Duis­berg Gesellschaft, which spon­sored Mohamed Atta’s entry into the Unit­ed States; John P. Schmitz’s links to Matthias Wiss­man, and Wissman’s links to Holo­caust-relat­ed law­suits; Joseph E. Schmitz’s report­ed anti-Semi­tism and Holo­caust revi­sion­ism: “ . . . .‘His sum­ma­ry of his tenure’s achieve­ment report­ed as ‘…I fired the Jews,’ . . . . ‘In his final days, he alleged­ly lec­tured [for­mer Pen­ta­gon Inspec­tor Gen­er­al] Mr. [John] Crane on the details of con­cen­tra­tion camps and how the ovens were too small to kill 6 mil­lion Jews,’ . . . .”; review of Joseph E. Schmitz’s post-Pen­ta­gon work as head of the par­ent com­pa­ny of Black­wa­ter.

FTR #909 A Different Kind of Tea Party: More about Fascism and the New Age

The Uran­tia Book appears to have heav­i­ly influ­enced the founders of the Celes­tial Sea­son­ings herbal tea com­pa­ny. Of greater sig­nif­i­cance is the fact that the for­mi­da­ble tome is an impor­tant ele­ment in the New Age fir­ma­ment and espous­es a deeply racist phi­los­o­phy. ” . . . The book touch­es upon every­thing from mind con­trol to a eugen­ics plot to elim­i­nate the ‘infe­rior races’ of our great nation. . . . The Uran­tia Book, a 4.3‑pound, 2,097-page tome, pub­lished first in 1955, is a mod­i­fied Sev­enth-Day Adven­tist text sup­pos­edly com­mu­ni­cated to an anony­mous man in a trance by aliens. . . . ”

Con­tend­ing that the human race evolved from fair-skinned, blue-eyed space aleiens, the Uran­tia Book man­i­fests a sin­is­ter phi­los­o­phy: ” . . . . On every plan­et through­out every uni­verse, fair-skinned, blue-eyed aliens named Adam and Eve appear to ‘upstep’ the natives. When their prog­eny mate with the accept­able inhab­i­tants of the plan­et, the ‘infe­rior stocks will be elim­i­nated and there will be one puri­fied race, one lan­guage, and one reli­gion,’ as Gard­ner explains it in Uran­tia: The Great Cult Mys­tery. But before that can hap­pen, Paper 51 of The Uran­tia Book says, ‘the infe­rior and unfit are large­ly elim­i­nated… it seems that you ought to be able to agree upon the bio­logic dis­fel­low­ship­ing of your more marked­ly unfit, defec­tive, degen­er­ate, and anti­so­cial stocks.’ . . .”

Com­pare this with Hitler’s phi­los­o­phy, as expressed in “Mein Kampf”: “The demand that defec­tive peo­ple be pre­vented from prop­a­gat­ing equal­ly defec­tive off­spring rep­re­sents the most human act of mankind.”

It should come as no sur­prise that the Uran­tia Book does not come from “out­er space”, but appears to have orig­i­nat­ed with a well-con­nect­ed eugeni­cist named William Sadler. ” . . . . While Hitler didn’t have any­thing to do with writ­ing The Uran­tia Book, William Sadler did.

One of the most well-known psy­chi­a­trists of his era, Sadler got his start work­ing for Dr. John H. Kel­logg at the famous Bat­tle Creek San­i­tar­ium, which treat­ed celebri­ties like the Rock­e­fellers, Mont­gomery Ward and even Thomas Edi­son. Kel­logg was a noto­ri­ous eugeni­cist and found­ed the Race Bet­ter­ment Foun­da­tion, whose goals were ‘to call atten­tion to the dan­gers which threat­en the race.’ Influ­enced by Kellogg’s ideas, Sadler pub­lished three eugeni­cist books: “Long Heads and Round Heads; or, What’s the Mat­ter With Ger­many (1918)”, “Racial Deca­dence: An Exam­i­na­tion of the Caus­es of Racial Degen­er­a­tion in the Unit­ed States” (1922) and “The Truth About Hered­ity” (1927). The Uran­tia Book echoes the ideas pre­sented in these books, and in some cas­es, it repro­duces the text word for word. . . .”

The Uran­tia Fel­low­ship con­tin­ues to man­i­fest the eugen­ics phi­los­o­phy of the text, count­ing Ker­mit Anderson–the direc­tor of genet­ic screen­ing at Kaiser Per­ma­nente among its adher­ents!

FTR #901 Fascism: Past, Present and Future

Col­lab­o­ra­tion by pow­er­ful, influ­en­tial West­ern and Amer­i­can insti­tu­tions has enabled the per­pet­u­a­tion of what Mr. Emory calls “The Under­ground Reich.” In addi­tion to the cor­po­rate inter­ests who backed the Axis, jour­nal­is­tic orga­ni­za­tions such as the Asso­ci­at­ed Press collaborated–the lega­cy of that col­lab­o­ra­tion being a dis­tort­ed view of his­to­ry. Much of the pro­gram high­lights the return “above-ground” of polit­i­cal ele­ments of the Under­ground Reich. In Ukraine, the heirs to the OUN/B fas­cists con­tin­ue to gain grav­i­tas polit­i­cal­ly and mil­i­tar­i­ly. The open­ly Nazi Azov Bat­tal­ion will now receive fund­ing and train­ing from the U.S. gov­ern­ment, thanks to the omnibus fund­ing bill passed in Decem­ber of 2015. With Ukrain­ian mem­bers of Par­lia­ment open­ly man­i­fest­ing their Nazi sym­pa­thies, those who pro­fess to be “shocked, shocked” at devel­op­ments should recon­sid­er their point of view. In Croa­t­ia, Ustachi ele­ments have gained con­trol of the gov­ern­ment, as attest­ed to by the out­go­ing prime min­is­ter. Croa­t­ian cul­tur­al events, such as foot­ball [soc­cer] match­es con­tin­ue to expe­ri­ence open cel­e­bra­tion of pro-Ustacha sen­ti­ment. After review­ing the Cru­sade For Free­dom and its pro­jec­tion of East­ern Euro­pean Nazi col­lab­o­ra­tors into the GOP, the pro­gram high­lights the Nazi-like polit­i­cal agen­da of the AfD. Rep­re­sent­ed as “anti-immi­grant,” it embraces a qua­si-eugen­ics agen­da and his­tor­i­cal revi­sion­ism rem­i­nis­cent of the NSDAP’s agen­da. The pro­gram con­cludes with a look at the future of fas­cism, with Nazi hack­er extra­or­di­naire Andrew “Weev” Auern­heimer hav­ing hacked print­ers and made them spew white suprema­cist pro­pa­gan­da, as well as tweet­ing Nazi ide­ol­o­gy in such as man­ner as to (appar­ent­ly) aug­ment his stash of Bit­coins. The pro­gram fea­tures a look at Tay, the Microsoft AI “chat­bot” that turned into a Nazi 24 hours after going online. Pro­gram High­lights Include: the AP’s use of SS press liai­son Franz Roth as a pho­to edi­tor; the AP’s cov­er-up of the Lviv pogroms in Ukraine; the direct asso­ci­a­tion of Croa­t­ian cul­ture min­is­ter Zlatko Hasan­be­gov­ic with the son-in-law of Croa­t­ian World War II dic­ta­tor Ante Pavel­ic; Auern­hemer’s asso­ci­a­tion with Glenn Green­wald; Ukrain­ian pres­i­dent Petro Poroshenko being allowed to address to the Knesset–the Israeli parliament–despite his hav­ing laid a wreath in trib­ute to the OUN/B at the site of the Babi Yar mas­sacre (1200 of the 1800 exe­cu­tion­ers at Babi Yar were from the OUN/B); the ele­va­tion of Svo­bo­da par­ty mem­ber Andriy Paru­biy to be the speak­er of the Ukrain­ian par­lia­ment; the use of the “14 words” by Svo­bo­da politi­cians in Ukraine, as well as Auern­heimer; recap of Croa­t­ian foot­baller Joe Simu­nic’s lead­ing of a crowd in the “Za Dom Sprem­ni” Ustachi chant.

Nazis in Ukraine, Hypocrisy Elsewhere, Including Israel

Address­ing the Knes­set (Israel’s par­lia­ment), Ukrain­ian pres­i­dent Petro Poroshenko recent­ly gave a pro-for­ma apol­o­gy for the par­tic­i­pa­tion of Ukraini­ans in the Holo­caust. Israel is among the coun­tries that glossed over Poroshenko’s hon­or­ing of the OUN/B exe­cu­tion­ers at Babi Yar (right). The recent elec­tion of a Nazi may­or in a Ukrain­ian town should sur­prise no one. FTR #869 The Assassination of Olof Palme, Part 2

Con­tin­u­ing dis­cus­sion and analy­sis from FTR #868, this pro­gram under­scores the pos­si­ble role of Swedish and Scan­di­na­vian fas­cists over­lap­ping both WACL and Sapo, the Swedish intel­li­gence ser­vice. Involved with escape net­works forged to aid the inter­na­tion­al flight from jus­tice of fas­cists and Nazis, the prin­ci­pals in these net­works exhib­it­ed behav­ior around the time of the Palme killing that is sug­ges­tive. Worth not­ing in this regard is the late Stieg Larsson’s inves­ti­ga­tion of the Palme killing, which point­ed in the direc­tion of some of the same fig­ures exam­ined in the Kruger essay. The pro­gram con­cludes with an exam­i­na­tion of the Bofors muni­tions firm and its cor­po­rate links to Third Reich indus­try and the post­war Bor­mann cap­i­tal net­work, with which it may well be affil­i­at­ed.

FTR #868: The Assassination of Olof Palme, Part 1

The first of two pro­grams high­light­ing the unsolved 1986 assas­si­na­tion of Swedish Prime Min­is­ter Olof Palme, the broad­cast fea­tures a 1988 arti­cle by the bril­liant free­lance Dan­ish jour­nal­ist Hen­rik Kruger, author of “The Great Hero­in Coup: Drugs, Intel­li­gence and Inter­na­tion­al Fas­cism.” Through this exam­i­na­tion of the inter­sect­ed net­works that Kruger has termed (in “The Great Hero­in Coup”) “The Inter­na­tion­al Fascista,” we are able to observe the ele­ments of Oper­a­tion Con­dor, key indi­vid­u­als and insti­tu­tions com­pris­ing the for­mer World Anti-Com­mu­nist League, indi­vid­u­als and orga­ni­za­tions under­ly­ing “the Strat­e­gy of Ten­sion” in Italy, as well as the cast of char­ac­ters that man­aged the Iran-Con­tra machi­na­tions. Long the focal point of death threats and assas­si­na­tion attempts, Palme had earned the lethal ire of fas­cists in North and South Amer­i­ca, as well as Europe. The fail­ure to solve the killing, despite the pas­sage of almost 30 years and some very strong evi­den­tiary trib­u­taries, under­scores the grav­i­tas of the forces that destroyed Palme. Kruger’s arti­cle also serves as some­thing of an “in vit­ro” win­dow into many of the polit­i­cal net­works we have exam­ined over the years.

Azov Battalion Training Kids as Young as Six: Ukrainian Hitler Youth?

The most vis­i­ble and best-pub­li­cized of the Nazi fight­ing for­ma­tions in Ukraine is the Azov bat­tal­ion. We now learn that Azov is train­ing a “youth cadre”–including chil­dren as young as six. Extend­ing exam­i­na­tion of the most inap­pro­pri­ate­ly named Nation­al Endow­ment for Democ­ra­cy, the pro­gram high­lights that insti­tu­tion’s role as a direct exten­sion of U.S. intel­li­gence. In addi­tion to hav­ing financed the Maid­an coup in Ukraine, the NED has been posi­tion­ing itself to effect “regime change” in Rus­sia. One of the part­ners with NED in financ­ing the Maid­an coup is Pierre Omid­yar, Glenn Green­wald’s finan­cial angel and the head of EBay. Omid­yar is now part­ner­ing with NED to cre­ate a “fact-check­ing ser­vice.” Vladimir Putin has cracked down on NED and oth­er for­eign NGO’s that are polit­i­cal­ly active in Rus­sia, using the prece­dent of an Amer­i­can law that oblig­es polit­i­cal activists and orga­ni­za­tions financed from abroad to reg­is­ter as agents of for­eign gov­ern­ments. FTR #847 Interview (#10) with Peter Levenda about “The Hitler Legacy”

In this broad­cast, we con­tin­ue to “Fol­low the Mon­ey” and ana­lyze its pri­ma­ry role in the per­pet­u­a­tion of Nazism and its atten­dant method­olo­gies and resul­tant ills.
